I thought maybe it was a one off, so decided to come back alone for a second time to give them another chance. Same thing happened AGAIN. Crawfish is my absolute favorite meal in general but I wouldn't have it at this place. The crawfish meat inside the head is black, and the whole tray looks muddy. They either need to change crawfish supplier or clean their crawfish better. Another suggestion would also to have one tong per sushi roll to avoid cross contamination. Dealing with raw fish is tricky, and there should not be shared tongs with the sushi rolls. The chicken wings and soft crab legs were good though. read more

The prices are reasonable at $16.49 for lunch to $23.99 weekend dinner buffet. They offer crab legs on Friday and Saturday dinner. They also have seafood boil that you could order by combos. We didn't dine here but we ordered take out. You could either order by the pound, they give you a box and you grab what you want from the buffet. Ranges from $6.99-$12.99 per pound. Or you could order à la carte from their menu which was what we did and it was made fresh to order. However, I regret not asking for a demo of what the trays looked like. Some items were on full or half foil trays. Some items were in the styrofoam box and some items were in the black half take out containers. I had a head count and couldn't decide if it was better going by the pound or à la carte. Now I know. I ordered: Salt and pepper shrimp ($10.99)- this came in a big styrofoam box and totally worth the price and it kept the crunch Beef broccoli ($13.99) - came in the half black container size Orange chicken ($10.99) - came in the half black container size. Had I known, I would have ordered it by weight from the buffet in the white styrofoam box to get more. House special fried rice ($24.95 half tray) House special mein fun ($24.95 half tray) - this was everyone's favorite. It's the glass noodles. Food quality is decent for the price. I really like this place for the price point and the food was actually good for being buffet. They kept replenishing dishes that were out as quickly as they could. The servers were also attentive when it came to clearing plates as well. The buffet was nice and clean and I loved how they offered gloves to use. I invited my family and friends to celebrate my birthday. I called ahead of time and paid only $20 deposit (reimbursed on day of event) to reserve the room in the back. We returned to this Asian AYCE dinner Buffet on Dec 28, 2024 after not having eaten there since June 2014. It was pretty crowded the Saturday night we went. we waited between 20-30 minutes for a table for four. Once seated, we got up to check out the buffet offerings. There was the usual salad bar with a wide assortment of fixings for your salad. A hot soup bar which offered won ton soup, and a hot and sour soup which caught my eye. There was a variety of fresh seafood to choose from: crab legs, peel and eat shrimp, crawfish, fried blue crabs, fried shrimp, fried fish, baked fish. The usual assortment of fried dumplings, sesame balls ( I could've eaten a tray of these), french fries, fried chicken, chow mein, sautéed vegetables, was also available the night we were there. There is also a sushi and sashimi bar adjacent to a meat carving station of roasted beef. By time we got to it, most of the pieces were medium well to well done. Our family of carnivores all prefer rare to medium rare, so we were hoping another roast would be brought out from the kitchen. Nope, in its place was the remnant slices of the previous roast now offered submerged in brown gravy at the carving station. We were eating around 1700 hours, so it was a bit surprising they only seem to have one roast to present for the dinner hour. So if you like your meat on the rarer side, you may want to make a direct line for that roast first. Overall we were all pretty impressed with the food quality on this visit. We all especially like the fried chicken which was juicy and had a tasty fried coating. Im really like the chow mein they offered. The seafood that I tried was the peel and eat shrimp, since I was not in the mood to peel any crab legs that night. The shrimp was pretty decent, not smelly or mushy. The only thing I did not care for was the hot and sour soup. It was very eye appealing but the first spoonful in my mouth was a different story. All I could taste was a neutral tasting soup (neither hot nor spicy) that had both the taste and mouth feel of overly starched soup. The desserts offered were fresh fruit, jello type desserts and some baked goods. I was especially in my happy place to try one of their fried sesame balls that were some of the best I have had in a real long time! Service was attentive and courteous. Our used plates were swiftly removed from our table, and sodas kept filled. Overall for the pre-tip amount of $115.62 for four adults, this was a decent AYCE Asian buffet that seemed to have improved from our 2014 visit. The one negative I have about the buffet and for that matter any buffet in general, is parents with sick kids should not be letting them go up to the buffet tables. I was so grossed out watching this one really sick little girl walk up, her being at chin height to the counter, constantly coughing (the juicy phlegmy sounding ones) towards the trays of food. read more
