    Jambalaya
    Katie G.

Absolutely amazing! I had the jambalaya and it was SO good, packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and such a generous portion. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, and the cornbread and rice were the perfect sides. The service was great too! I'll definitely be coming back and trying more of the menu. If you're craving some seriously good Creole food, Sharon's Creole Kitchen is a must!

So, if I could give a half staring would. I've been waiting for them to re open. I ordered the same thing I always order. The shrimp dinner with fried okra and Parmesan garlic fries. The okra what little was in the container was over cooked and just gross. I have no idea what they put in my container with the okra but it wasn't okra. I don't know if I got the bottom of the barrel or what. The shrimp was overcooked as well. Very disappointed as we come here often as a family and I doubt we will be back.

All the fixin's. Reminds me of Thanksgiving.

Great family-owned Creole restaurant in Murrieta. Their chicken is delicious with a light, crispy coating. Mac and cheese is just like homemade. And the yams are like candy and our fave side dish. We've been coming here for years and the cornbread tastes different. Not complaining because it tastes better! The prices have definitely gone up since the last time we came but it's rare to find good soul food like this anywhere.

3pc Sharon's Famous Fried Chicken. Not worth. Bland and disappointed. Look how thin and tiny the chicken is. This was $20.....

Oh man... I found out there's new management/owners and I'm so disappointed. The interior and menu is pretty much the same but the food isn't made with love or care anymore. The portions changed and the taste really isn't worth coming back. I tried the "famous" 3 pcs chicken for the first time and they give me 2 dry wing tips and 1 dry wing. How is this "meal" supposed to fill anyone up? I imagine they had the audacity because I'm a smaller figure but I would be ashamed to serve this to someone who is taller/larger. 70% of the chicken was bones and you expect anyone except a 8 year old to be full? This is basically a kids meal for an adult price. Every other fried chicken pic in the past has a big thigh but of course new management wants to cut corners. The debris fries were slightly better. The gravy is just salty soup which was meh. So sad because this place used to be my favorite for soul food. I miss the previous owners. The previous chef once came out to greet everyone in the restaurant and even hooked us up with sweet yam syrup for the beignets we ordered. I don't think this place has the soul for the soul food anymore. $100 dinner for 4 pcs of small dry chicken, salty fries, and audacity. They gave me a thigh after I mentioned the tiny portion but I'm still hungry... I'm 110 lbs. This 3 (actually 4) pcs dinner can't fill a 110 lbs woman. I can't imagine how many plates would be needed for an average man. Would not recommend or return. The greed is too much. Something's wrong if we have to go to in and out after to feel full.

Found a smth that looks like a worm (pretty sure it is) in my fish. Let's hope they cooked it properly. It ruined everything for me. Would never go back

This place is fire! I goggled around my area and this came up and now it will be a regular spot to visit. The collard greens were done to perfection even my picky eater kid ate it up, the Peach Cobbler and German Chocolate Cake are very much worth the price. The music was one of the best parts, but by far the service we received was just like home. This spot can take all my money!

    Beignets ($13)

I usually come here with family on vacation. There's plenty of parking outside and they have a good amount of seating. I tried their sampler platter of four lagniappe (appetizers) to try. Their beef sausage po'boy ($16) and beignets ($13) were great. The po'boy came with a side of sweet potato fries and it was seasoned heavily with cinnamon. Beignets were fluffy and soft. My mom likes their shrimp etoufee. It comes with white rice on the side but it was hard and undercooked. It has a good amount of heat to it. The lagniappe plate ($17) I chose were 4 small bowls of their gumbo, etoufee, jambalaya, and red beans and rice. Their hushpuppies and maque choux which is corn with bell peppers, celery, and onions were also good. Their fried chicken was good too, crispy skin and seasoned, juicy meat. The staff is nice and the place is clean.

Dillon was so thoughtful and kind. The food was good, service was amazing, but we couldn't enjoy our food because the A/C did not seem to work. It was 77+ degrees (I don't think the thermostat was working). It felt like the peak of summer in the desert inside the restaurant. It might have been cooler outside. Their AC has been out more days than I can count. PLEASE fix it.

We love the beignets here!! But we're so shocked to see when we opened the to go box! These are not beignets! so disappointed!

We always enjoy ourselves when we come here. The food is amazing. My favorite are the sweet potatoes. Gumbo is delicious, that's the hubby's favorite. I also enjoy the Jambalya. Service is always great. Shout out to all the servers. It's a nice cozy spot but they do offer outside seating.

AMAZING FOOD! I only wish I lived closer to Sharon's Creole Kitchen. The food was incredibly delicious--so good it left me wanting more even after I was full. Portions were generous, which was perfect since I came with a group of mountain bikers and we ordered a variety of dishes to share and try. Everything was flavorful and satisfying, but my favorite was the 4-plate sampler--you get a little bit of everything, and it's the perfect way to experience the menu. We were so full we didn't even make it to dessert... which just means we have a reason to come back!

Catfish platter greens and Mac N Cheese

First timers and we are definitely returning. We ordered catfish and fried chicken. Sides included red beans rice, greens, Mac n cheese, and yams. Everything was a 10/10. Although we drove 40 minutes we were not disappointed. The flavors and seasoning was on point. Service was excellent and friendly. Mia was outstanding. A friend recommended this place to us and they live in Victorville so we knew it must be good. Oh and the homemade watermelon lemonade was delicious.

I especially love the grilled salmon, and my go-to is usually the steak and chicken bowl with vegetables and either white or brown rice. My husband loves their chicken bowl as well. Everything we've tried has always tasted fresh and high quality at a very fair price. Recently though, after the ownership change, I became disappointed because instead of the delicious teriyaki sauce in the little takeout containers, we were only given salty soy sauce packets and chili sauce packets. It completely changed the experience for me, and honestly made me not want to come back. I finally decided to call and speak with Bob. I explained how much we missed the original teriyaki sauce and how the portions had started feeling skimpy compared to the past. Bob was wonderful. He listened, cared, and simply said, "I got you. I'll take care of you." And wow....he absolutely did. The steak and teriyaki chicken bowl I received was one of the best I've ever had from Top Grill. The portions were generous again, the food was fresh and flavorful, and that delicious teriyaki sauce was back! My husband loved his chicken bowl too. Customer service really matters, and Bob completely changed our experience. Because of him, we will definitely be coming back. Thank you, Bob, for caring about your customers. This time I decided to try the bacon eggs Benedict and was unfortunately a little disappointed. For those unfamiliar, eggs Benedict is typically an English muffin topped with a poached egg and a creamy hollandaise sauce. I was expecting the egg yolk to be runny when cut into, but it turned out to be fully hard-boiled instead . The hollandaise had a nice flavor and good acidity, but it seemed slightly broken. We arrived right when they opened at 3 PM on a Saturday. The hostess was sweet and quickly showed us to our table. As soon as we walked in, I noticed the paintings on the walls--they were beautiful and really added to the atmosphere. If you want to learn some history behind the restaurant ask Tiffany for the story behind the paintings :) We started with a couple of drinks, and they were delicious. I ordered a Bloody Maria (basically a Bloody Mary made with tequila), and it was really good. For an appetizer, we got the Grilled Corn Ribs, and wow--they were so tasty. We couldn't stop talking about how good they were. For our entrées, we ordered the Double Stacked Cheeseburger and the Cavatelli pasta. I really enjoyed the pasta. The flavor was delicious, and while the noodles were a bit thicker than I expected, it was still a great dish. My partner wasn't the biggest fan of the burger because of the Southwestern pimento cheese, but the fries were excellent! I tried the burger myself and honestly thought it was still pretty good. It was also my partners birthday so they brought a cute little dessert! Overall, we had a great experience. Our waiter, Jose, was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service. It has been our go-to steakhouse, and we've even celebrated our anniversary here. We love the food, which makes what happened during our son's birthday dinner especially disappointing. After an excellent steak dinner that cost approximately $330, we brought out a small, pre-sliced ice cream Polar Pizza for our son's birthday. I began serving it myself because it was already sliced. The waitress then came over and, in a confrontational manner, announced that we would be charged a $25 cake-cutting fee. The fee may have previously been mentioned to my wife, but I was not aware of it when I began serving the cake. I understand that restaurants have policies, and a calm explanation would have been enough. Instead, the situation was turned into an unnecessary scene during our son's birthday celebration. Then another large male employee came over, stepped directly into my personal space, and angrily asked, "Would you bring beer into a bar?" He got right in my face without first asking what had happened or allowing me to explain. His tone and decision to get that close were aggressive, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. We ultimately paid the $25 fee even though the staff did not cut, plate, or serve the cake. The fee was frustrating, but the confrontational way the employees handled the situation was far worse. Families considering celebrating a child's birthday here should confirm every outside dessert policy beforehand. In our case, what should have been a joyful moment for our son became an upsetting experience. It did not leave us feeling as though families celebrating with children were welcomed or valued. A simple and respectful conversation could have resolved everything in seconds. Instead, their response changed the entire mood and ruined what should have been a special ending to our son's birthday dinner. The food may still be excellent, but a restaurant is remembered for more than its steaks. After years of loyalty, the aggressive and disrespectful way this was handled during our son's birthday has cost them our business. We will not be returning.
