No child should have to use his fries as fork because they've waited so long to eat and in need of utensils to do so.
    Myke C.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but what my family experienced here demands to be said. We waited 45 minutes to be seated which we were prepared to accept. What we were not prepared for was walking in to find four staff members congregated in the lobby who made no effort to acknowledge us. I am 6'6". I assure you, they saw us. When we were finally seated, it was at the very back of the restaurant far removed from the main dining are despite clearly visible open booths throughout. My wife and I noticed immediately. So did our 7-year-old. The service that followed confirmed what the seating had already suggested. My son had to use his fries to eat his pasta because we had to ask multiple times for utensils for the three of us...The effort from our server was, at best, minimal. What made this experience impossible to dismiss as coincidence: another Black family arrived after us and was seated in an even worse position in the same isolated area. Looking around the main dining room, we could not find a single Black family seated inside it. I want to be fair. I cannot prove intent. But I can speak to what my family saw, felt, and experienced and it did not feel like poor service. It felt like a pattern. If you value your family's dignity, please consider this review before you choose to dine here.

This was my first time here. We got seated almost immediately. It wasn't very busy for a Sunday evening. Ordered oysters for appetizer that were very fresh! As someone who lived in Washington for a few years, these were probably some of the most fresh we've had in California! We got our drinks pretty promptly & same thing with our food. Salmon was delicious & same with my pasta! I wish the pasta was a little bit of a bigger portion but, nonetheless it was delicious! We had just finished eating & immediately we were asked if we wanted dessert & told our waitress no & she already had our bill in her hand & put it on the table. At that moment she cleared our table, we still had a few sips of our drinks left & she took the extra menu I had from our table. From then on we just felt very rushed to leave... I was going to order the ponzu scallops but instead, I didn't feel comfortable ordering that or another drink. So we just paid & went along our night, finished our drinks & left. It's unfortunate, considering everything we ate & drank exceeded our expectations. We'll be back for the food again, just hoping next time we don't feel like we're getting kicked out especially with how slow the night was.

Came here with the family. Someone gifted us a gift card here and gotta say this place is nice. I got the Fisherman's Platter and have to say you get alittle bit of everything with the platter. Fish, prawns, scallops, fries and coleslaw. Our waitress was very informative and friendly. My wife got pasta with no proteins. My son got the cheese burger but was halfway done before I could take a picture. Will definitely be back to try other dishes.

I've been here a couple times now. My experience was wonderful. Bartender Kate and Justina were on point with both service and company. I ordered mussels and clam chowder. Both delicious. Great options in drinks as well. Saw the Manager Joe, handling a situation very professionally. Definitely, happy customer I'm a firm believer that the staff can make or break the experience. Kudos

Connecticut lobster roll (called a Rhode Island lobster roll - menu needs to change the name)

It's always extra special to be welcomed with warm sourdough bread and butter as soon as you're seated. It paired well with the steamed clams and mussels in white wine, garlic, and butter broth. The ahi tuna poke came with fried wonton chips, but we ordered a side of green rice to go with it. The lobster roll was nicely toasted and buttered and had a generous serving of perfectly cooked lobster. The crab and avocado salad wasn't dressed enough and lacked flavor. The restaurant was decorated with a nautical theme.

We have been here numerous times so we decided to celebrate our anniversary and have lunch. I had the Butterfish with green beans and asparagus. For dessert we shared the key lime pie - our favorite. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent.

I was looking for a dinner spot and came across this place on google. First time here and I love that the place has parking. We were seated at the table right next to the bar. We started with drinks espresso martini and cucumber mojito. for food the scallop pasta was delicious, the burger was descent The raw scallop and calamari were ok too. Our waitress was very attentive and over all we had a good experienced. I'll definitely check this place out againo

We went to the Winemakers Tasting Event paired with an excellent menu. The wines were provided by Marshall Stuart Winery in Temecula. We started with a Drunken Shrimp Scampi paired with a Blanc de Blanc. Next, we were served a Lemon Cesar Salad paired with a Chardonnay and the main course was a Cedar Plank Salmon topped with a maple Dijon glaze with scalloped potatoes and sautéed green beans paired with a Cabernet Franc. Wow, what an excellent meal! Our servers were great and provided perfect service. A live sax player gave the restaurant a cool vibe and the lighting was just right. Marshall Stuart made sure he stopped at every table to discuss his winery and answered all questions about his wines. Extremely enjoyable time!

Sitting on the patio for a Marshall Stuart wine pairing ! Delicious !! Dog Friendly patio and we brought a little mat for her

Tonight was not their night. At least for us. Started out great. Made a reservation and was sat right away. Greeted, drinks ordered, and bread was brought out hot and fresh. I waited about 12 minutes for my first Diet Coke. Had to ask about it, even though the tables around me who were sat after us were already sipping. Strike one. Strike two, the steamed clams and mussels were a bit grainy. I get that happens but it was more than just one it was like they weren't scrubbed hard enough and soaked to filter out the grit. The broth was very flavorless. Even with the lemon added, it was like water. No garlic taste and lacking salt. The parsley had a of graininess to it as well. The crab dip was also probably one of the driest dips, I've had. I don't know how else to describe it and didn't know dip could be described as dry...who knew Strike three, the wife got the paella "taste of Spain" I believe. Now, in my experience paella is supposed to have a caramelized bottom. This did not, and again lacking salt. Tasted water downed, and not in a fresh from the sea kind of way, more of a flavorless kind of way. But this was probably the most flavorful. Strike four, I ordered the golden cod, it was ok. It's pictured. But again where's the salt!?!? I couldn't taste the corn puree. The skin was not crispy and was more leathery. It was served skin side up, so I figured it would have been crispy since it was served skin on and presented that way, Why leave the skin, if not seared? Strike 5, we saw numerous tables around us get asked if they wanted more bread. We did not. Strike 6, had to ask for our water to be refilled and my Diet Coke. Waited about 10 minutes to even find our server to ask. Strike 7, maybe it's because we had a baby with us. I know everyone says their baby behaves, and ours did. He ate his crackers while we ate our bread and had some bison puree while we ate. He drank his water, did not cry once. A little talkative but the restaurant is loud. I counted the tables next to us, behind us and in front of us had a total of 4 tables touches to our 1. I could write it off but we were also nearest to the server station. I get being busy, it wasn't that busy. It's Friday night but plenty of open tables. My wife and I go out every Friday night and didn't want to stop even though we have a baby. We love eating out and introducing him to new places. I'd probably forgive the tasteless food if the service was top notch. It wasn't the worst but in comparison to others around us....it was somewhat insulting and hard not to take it personal. Strike 8, if you're familiar with restaurant wars and top chef. There's this one season when Padma is leaving; and there is no one at the host stand to say goodbye. It's something I know look for anytime we go out. Now there was somewhere there; actually two! As I walked out, holding my baby and the door for my wife. Not one said thanks for coming or have good night. I initiated it after waiting to see if they would say anything, and again....minor but with everything else it was the icing on the cake. Maybe it was because we had a baby, perhaps we're weren't old enough ( older crown around us) Maybe because we didn't order booze, maybe it was because I was wearing flip flops, Maybe it's my tattoos, not sure, but I do know we were not made to feel like a priority like everyone else around us. Positives: bread was great, hot n fresh. Diet Coke was good too. IYKYK about a good Diet Coke. Food did come out quick

This was a very delicious dinner. We were very satisfied with dinner and portions. The freshly baked bread was delicious. My New York stake was made to perfection and I loved it. When you're traveling it's difficult to find a great place, but we got lucky!

Came here for my husband bday weekend. Service was good. We were seated quickly and our waiter was very kind and attentive. The exterior was a typical seafood chain restaurant and the food was good. Our favorite was the clam chowder and salmon. The oysters Rockefeller was on the salty side but was overall tasty. You really need the lemon with it to balance the saltiness. My husband got the pasta which he also enjoyed. They served sourdough bread at the table and which was also good. If I am ever in the area, I would come back to this place.

We arrived early on a Friday evening, and thankfully it wasn't crowded. Since they don't take reservations, getting there early is definitely the way to go. We ordered the Dealer's Choice, which was refreshing, balanced, and beautifully presented. We also tried one of their stronger signature cocktails, and they definitely don't hold back -- there's a reason they limit those drinks to two per person! Both drinks were creative and well-crafted. The bartenders clearly know their craft, and the drink presentation was outstanding. Service was good, although not especially memorable, which is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. One thing that would make the experience even more immersive would be if the entire staff wore cowboy attire to match the Old West theme. With the speakeasy setting and vintage decor, it would add a fun touch and make the experience feel even more authentic. Overall, Twain Speakeasy offers excellent cocktails, good music, and a unique atmosphere. I would definitely come back again, and my recommendation is to arrive early since reservations aren't available and I can see this place filling up quickly on busy nights.

Situated right on the scenic Temecula Duck Pond, the restaurant offers an open brewery vibe, a spacious outdoor beer garden, and plenty of room for kids and adults to relax. The Food Breakdown OBC Breadsticks (4-Pack): Delicious and fresh. They come with two dippers--stick to the classic plain garlic butter sauce for the best bite. Lost Traveler's Noodles: Really good. We added the extra shrimp--it pairs amazingly well with the flavorful, slow-roasted pork. OBC Tri-Tip Plate: Cooked to absolute perfection--came out exactly how we like it (medium-rare). Shrimp Tacos: Our friend ordered these when he arrived and completely devoured them. Our server, Amy, was attentive, friendly, and made our visit seamless. Tips: Bring the Whole Family (Dogs Included!): The outdoor patio is extremely kid-friendly and pet-friendly--they even have a "Dog Patty" on the menu for four-legged guests. Come with a Group: The portions are generous. Bringing a bigger group allows you to order more small plates and pizzas to share across the table. Have you been to Oscar's Brewing Company yet? What's your absolute favorite dish on their menu? Let's talk food.

Just wow! The food was so amazing, the flavor profiles were out of this world…read more I came for a food and wine pairing with Altisima wine and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed every course. The owner was delightful as was the chef. We had Oyster, followed by a stone fruit salad I was worried about until I took one bite and ate every bit of it. The next course was duck confit followed by filet mignon then dessert. I usually have pictures for my reviews, but I was so thoroughly enjoying my food I plum forgot to take a picture. Every good and wine pairing was perfect. To be fair I passed this place a few times, but never really knew they served food because of the name. You need this food in your life. My husband and I will be back.

But once you head downstairs, you will find a cozy dining area in the back with a cozy atmosphere. My friend and I chose the prix fixe menu with the restaurant's selected wine pairings, and it was an incredible experience. Gabriel, who took care of our table, explained every dish and wine pairing in detail, making the entire meal even more enjoyable. Every course was creative, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. From the first bite to the final dessert, and every wine pairing in between, everything was outstanding. It was a memorable dining experience, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Temecula.

What an unexpected surprise! We checked out this place and the food was phenomenal. Irish Nachos…read morecame on a big plate with fresh potato chips, nacho cheese with bacon, green onion piping hot. Tomato Bisque with Parmesan cheese rind was one of the best I've eaten. Meatloaf with mashed potatoes was seasoned perfectly and very flavorful. Brisket with potato wedges fell just short of five stars as the bbq sauce was bland and overly sweet. But. The server made up for all of the brisket shortcomings by providing stellar customer service checking on us frequently and ensuring our beverages were always full. The server gets 10,000 stars for being the major reason I'd go back. When servers go out of their way to treat me kindly and by providing creature comforts I didn't even know I wanted or needed? I take notice. Bravo!

He really enjoyed the wings, but I felt like the truffle mac & cheese was pretty watery and didn't have much flavor and I didn't like how heavy handed the chicken was on top. Although the calamari was very good. I liked that they served it with ranch and marinara sauce. Our server was amazing. She was very friendly and made us laugh and overall gave good thoughts on the menu. I would like to be back again to try something else on the menu and their drink menu looked great as well.
