The food was delicious. The king crab and snow crab was amazing. The flavor of the sauce was so good. I also really loved the corn so flavorful. Definitely will come back. Our server was super friendly also.

We came in after driving a LONG drive from Hemet, Ca to eat here. At first it was a bit confusing because the lady who sat us down said something we didn't understand. A grandmother, daughter, and her four children apparently get taxed a forced tip included into the check because there were a total of six people. Natalie our server was very nice and professional. She brought the lemon! Yay . They ordered some 1/2 pound bag of crab stuff, chicken tenders, sweet potato fries, while I ordered a clam chowder soup and some calamari that was on the hour menu. I enjoyed my food and watched them enjoy theirs. The restaurant is very clean including the bathrooms. My only complaint other than the "having the charge for 2 women and 4 children" is I had to ask for a water refill. Thanks Natalie for being so friendly

And now we're ashes on the ground Father's Day Lunch Pier 88 Combo (Snow Crab Legs, Lobster Tail, Headless Shrimp, & Crawfish)

Early on in her life Toby had a traumatic incident involving her hands and has been phobic about anything untoward getting on them while she could avoid it. This includes food. Because of this I've never been able to share the gloriousness that is a full seafood boil, especially a good one like Pier 88. The headless peel n' eat shrimp and crawfish, the true backbone of any decent boil, were plump and delicious. I felt kind of giddy every time I would finish one and saw how many were left. The lobster tail was a good change-of-pace and the king crab legs, admittedly not my favorite item, still managed to satisfy. I also like how they threw in so much potatoes and sausage into the mix. It was definitely super generous at what other places consider an afterthought. I thought the service was alright. They seemed to have forgotten one of my party's margaritas but that could have been more a slow bartender than an inept server. I also never got a prompt to refill my soda, which is a little more concerning. The ambiance was pretty good. There were plenty of tables and booths, and everything was spaced appropriately. You definitely don't feel like you're on top of the tables around you. They also had plenty of TV's as the World Cup was easy to watch along with. I could be happy here any time I get the craving for some shrimp and crawfish. And as long as the servers were more diligent about refills. One time I'll figure out how to get Miss Scotch herself to one of these things, dirty hands be damned. I'd say getting your hands in the muck and mire of delicious foods is half the fun. And with places like Pier 88 out there, you could be having a fun time and a full belly every day of the week.

I'm o-fish-ally Hooked on this seafood restaurant. We choose the medium heat with garlic butter sauce. It was pier-ly delicious. The service from other workers was shrimply the best. It was our 1st time going wasn't sure if we should pour the boil on the table or eat out of the bag. We were told there isn't a wrong way to chomp down. Just reel in the epic flavor however you choose. Holy mackerel the ambience is a ship ready to Set sail. Crabs on the wall and sharks in the air. They are krill- ing it. Don't be shellfish go try pier 88 just for the halibut! $$$

My grandson wanted to try this place and we finally found the time. We ordered the kings special and added crawfish and sausage with the garlic butter. We poored it out on the table, but next time we will leave it in the bag, what a mess hahaha but great fun. The garlic butter was ok, I don't think it was real butter but had a good flavor. The seafood was great! Everything was cooked just right and we finished the entire table of food! Definitely coming back for this again!

This was our first time here, and we were pleasantly surprised by the incredible laid-back environment. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food was amazing, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The only downside was that we had a large group and had to share one bucket to collect the shells.

Yikes, I'm honestly surprised by the overall high ratings for this place. My hubby and I came here a few days ago for the first time and were really looking forward to it. We ordered the Famous Low Country Boil, a half pound of crab legs with the 88 Special (medium spice), extra corn, rice, and a side of butter. The flavor was... just average run-of-the-mill typical franchise standard. And the medium spice had very little kick to it. If you like actual spice, you'll probably want to go higher. They also don't give that much sauce compared to other boiling crab spots, so that was a bit disappointing. Service also wasn't great. Our waitress was nice, but pretty inattentive. Our food came out without the side of butter I specifically asked for, and she had been chatting at another table for a solid 10 minutes. The second my husband got up to ask the host for butter, she suddenly came over to check on us. It just didn't feel like anyone else mattered. I noticed another table had to flag her down too. I'd genuinely love to hear from SD locals who've been to Crab Hut, The Boiling Crab, or Crab Pub and how this compares-- because in my opinion, this was subpar and disappointing for the price. Unfortunately, we wouldn't go back. We'll continue to make the drive down to SD for much better boiling crab.

I had another great pick up. Our food was called in and ready at the estimated time. The hostess was polite and welcoming. The food received was accurate and packaged nicely. I've never dined inside but I am happy just ordering the food to go.

We came here to celebrate my brother's birthday and all I can say is, FINALLY there's a really good seafood broil place in the Temecula/Murrieta area. I was pretty excited to try this place because it took over Tilted Kilt - so the restaurant was pretty spacious. It's very clean inside & the nautical theme was very cute. The servers in my opinion were a bit lacking. We had one server in the beginning who was extremely sweet & checked up on us often, but she was done with her shift so she did a courtesy check-up with us to let us know that someone else was going to be helping us the rest of the night. We probably only saw this server once in the beginning and she disappeared for the rest of the night. We constantly had to grab other servers walking by to ask for things we needed. Though the food, I'd say is a good 4/5! Really good prices for the combo seafood broils, we got the $108 seafood special with lobster, snow crab, shrimp, crawfish, mussels, and 2 different types of clams. It was a great deal & a HUGE load of food. Between 4 of us, we still couldn't finish the combo deal. Perfect for leftovers. Regardless, the experience here was great and the sauce was pretty good - medium is pretty spicy FYI so you'll get a nice hot tingle to your food!

Wanted to try this place since they opened. My son loves a seafood boil. They have happy hour too so that's a plus. We came in around 4:30 on a Friday. Not too crowded. Lovely place with a bar and lots of tables. Music great and servers greet you right away. I ordered the happy hour cheese sticks and calamari. I would not recommend these tasted like cafeteria food items. We also got the oyster basket and my guy liked it. Fries were good. My son got the famous low country seafood boil. That's where it's at!! Flavorful and delicious and good amount of food. We added extra eggs and potatoes. I'll get that next time. Service was excellent.

Picked up dinner last night. When it was time for dinner, I opened up the bag and realized that it was so watered down and less seasoning. They didn't wait for all the water to be drained to be added to the seasoning. It's the best in town but honestly I rather take a drive to San Marcos and be satisfied and not upset.

We celebrated our daughter's accomplishment of attaining a high score on her DAT and requested to dine at Pier 88. It was our first time here and it reminded me of Crab Hut. This venue however, had more ocean view designs hanging from the ceiling and walls. The replica of sharks looks fascinating as well. We ordered a pound of shrimp for six and the house platter, which included calamari, chicken wings and cheese balls. The crinkle-cut fries were also crispy. Everything tasted great. The staff are friendly and the food was served quickly. I found this place not too busy on a Tuesday night. We look forward to trying their lobster the next time we visit.

I like this seafood restaurant a lot , a great addition to Temecula. I only wish the sauce was thicker, it was very watery. Everything else was good. I had the oysters, sweet potato fries, and the shrimp, crab, sausage, and corn bundle. Service was fine, it's a really large restaurant great for big parties. I came in on a Friday night, service wasn't slow but could be more efficient if it was staffed more.

When we were seated, we asked for a high chair three separate times before one was finally brought to our table. The high chair turned out to be too small for our son, so we asked if we could use a booster seat on the end chair instead. The server seemed hesitant, mentioning she wasn't sure she'd be able to get by the chair. We said that was fine and instead placed the booster seat between my wife and me. After struggling to get our son comfortable, we eventually realized the booster seat has two different height settings depending on which side is facing down. It would have been helpful if that had been pointed out when it was brought to the table. Throughout the meal, our server seemed distracted and wasn't around very often. Our food was brought out by other staff members, which isn't necessarily a problem by itself, but combined with the lack of check-ins it made the service feel disconnected. The biggest disappointment came when I took my son outside while we waited. The benches, chairs, and handrails in the waiting area were covered in bird droppings. There were spider webs in multiple places, and the entrance to the restaurant itself looked dirty. I understand the restaurant is going for an old harbor or fishing-boat atmosphere, but there's a big difference between rustic and neglected. Instead of feeling charming or nautical, it felt like years of dirt and grime had simply been left in place. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but basic cleanliness and attentive service are things I expect from any restaurant, especially when dining with a young child. I hope management takes this as constructive feedback because the restaurant has potential, but our experience left us with little desire to return.

AMBIANCE: 10/10 Really nice indoor lighted patio feel. It's perfect for a date night or any occasion. I wasn't expecting it to look so cute and authentic inside... OK so let's talk about the food... FISH TACOS: 10/10 I liked it very much! I thought it was amongst the best in town. Their biggest contender is probably Los Tacos. But, they can win on the quality, portions and pricing. The lunch special was $9.99 and it came with rice and beans. FLAUTAS: 8/10 I wish I ate this right away because if you take it home it will get soggy. The closed box and lettuce and sauces made it mushy. I think I would definitely ask if they can kindly separate the lettuce and keep the box open so the flats stay crunchy next time. It has a nice flavor and texture though... HORCHATA: 9/10 I'm very picky with horchata. To me, it can't be too sweet, too milky or too cinnamony. This horchata was close to perfect. I actually got a nice flavor of the rice, it was not too sweet or watered down and has the right amount of cinnamon. I really like and just prefer it a tad bit thicker or creamier. But, it's definitely one of the best in town! The salsa bar is so nice and CLEAN! The cleanest one I believe I've seen in town. And they are very generous with their salsa bar. There were onions, lime, pickled carrots and radishes. All were very FRESH!! Can't wait to come back and try their other dishes!

On Saturday we wandered into TCI for dinner and started with the heirloom tomato and burrata with crostini. It was so fresh and delicious that I briefly considered writing the tomatoes a thank-you note. Next came the Harvest Valley Salad, which somehow managed to make me genuinely excited about lettuce--an achievement that deserves recognition from the culinary Olympics. For our entrée we ordered the Wagyu Steak Frites with chimichurri. The steak was cooked so perfectly it should probably be framed instead of sliced. Every bite was fantastic. We finished with the ube panna cotta, which was elegant, silky, and the kind of dessert that makes you promise you'll "just have one bite" before accidentally eating half of it. Nathan took wonderful care of us all evening. He was warm, friendly, attentive, and struck that perfect balance between making us feel welcome and giving us time to enjoy the gorgeous patio. Watching the sunset with live music in the background and that spectacular view? It was one of those evenings that quietly reminds you why people go out to eat in the first place. Apparently we enjoyed ourselves so much that we came back the very just two days for lunch. (Scientific research requires repeat testing.) We started with the hummus, which arrived looking like it belonged in an art gallery. Fortunately, it tasted every bit as good as it looked. Then came the chile relleno, which was absolutely outstanding. If this dish ever goes missing, I'd recommend checking my refrigerator first. Faith was wonderfully friendly and outgoing, and our food expeditor, David, was so genuinely warm and personable that by the time he left the table, it felt like we'd known him for years. Restaurants can teach hospitality, but that kind of kindness is simply who some people are. My only tiny suggestion: please turn on the patio misters during these triple-digit California afternoons. The food was keeping us warm emotionally; the weather was handling the rest. And on the way out we let Christine know the carpets at the entrances needed a vacuum. Fantastic food, exceptional service, beautiful views, and an atmosphere that keeps drawing us back. Cork Fire Kitchen has once again reminded us why it's one of our favorite places to dine. I had hoped for a nice view of Old Town, but our view was actually of an empty lot. The menu contains a large amount of Amarican fare, generally bar food. The cocktails offered were basic, not crafted cocktails. My friends each ordered a spritz. I ordered a take on a mimosa called the "Bad Mom Mimosa". It was OK. We decided to share the empanadas, as our server spoke highly of them. We also shared the truffle Mac and the fried artichoke hearts. The Mac was creamy and had a really good truffle flavor. I'm glad we shared three ways, as it would have been too rich. The empanadas were pretty good, though nothing too out of the ordinary. The artichoke hearts were disappointing, as they had too much batter and little artichoke. When we were done, my friend was offered either the chocolate cake or the cheesecake as a dessert. It was nice of them to offer a free birthday dessert. She chose the chocolate cake. Unfortunately, our server forgot our spoons. We waited and waited... and I had to run in and ask for some. Once we had spoons, we found that the cake was too overly sweet to eat. There was another wait before we left as they were cleaning the bathrooms. I'm glad they clean the bathrooms, but to do both at the same time on a Saturday night was a bit much as a line was forming. Between waiting for the spoons and the bathroom, we were more than ready to leave. All in all, Lukes is an OK place to grab a bite or a drink, but I would probably try other restaurants in the area before returning.
