I guess it's been a while since I've been here. We came today for lunch and took advantage of their $22.99 three course lunch menu. Great deal. Bread, salad, entree and cannelloni for dessert. Bread and salad, perfect. Chicken Marsala was soaked in a delicious sauce and chicken was tender and moist. Took dessert to go because I was too full. Cannelloni shell was crisp, not hard. Filling was creamy and not too sweet. Pretty good! We are fortunate to have a few good Italian restaurants to enjoy here in Temecula.

Everyone stopped by to check in at some point and to see if I needed anything. Complimentary bread comes to the table after menus are removed and is served with olive oil and vinegar. I ordered the calamari. I thought it was cooked well. Personally, it did need some salt, Cajun, or cayenne. I wanted a little more to compliment the Marinara sauce. For my entree I had the spicy rigatoni. The consistency of the sauce and texture was perfect. I was expecting it to be spicy and it fell a little flat for me. I think chili oil could add a pop to it. Otherwise, the quality and portion was great. I had the chocolate mouse cake and it didn't stand a chance. The layers of the cake melted in your mouth and you can really appreciate the different layers. Overall I'd love to come back and try other dishes. Wonderful experience.

Tuesday, 3-17-2026: Happy St. Patrick's Day! We met up with good friends here for lunch. I hadn't been here since 2014 with a former ladies meet up & we celebrated my birthday. I received a delicious cannoli that day. I love the decor, which was eclectic with a touch of Old World aesthetics very tastefully done. We noticed upon entry there is a foyer-like section with additional tables for overflow guests. We were greeted & seated by our friendly server, Matthew. We were served delicious, hot bread with dipping sauce that helped keep our hunger at bay. It was a bit of a wait for the food to come out but it was worth the wait! I ordered the Polpette Al Forno, which was three hefty meatballs in marinara sauce accompanied by bread. It was so flavorful & filling that I could only finish one & a half meatballs. We all agreed the food was excellent and Matthew provided us with superb service. He was funny, friendly & attentive. He resembled my former supervisor in the USAFR-LOL! We will definitely need to come back & I won't wait another decade either!

10/10 this was some of the best, authentic Italian food I've had outside of Italy. My husband brought me for an early afternoon birthday dinner. It could not have been more perfect. The staff is helpful and friendly. Idk how they managed to struck the right balance of attentive while letting us linger/digest. We came after a day of wine tasting so I stuck to carbs to absorb the alcohol since I'm not a big drinker. I ordered the margherita pizza and my husband had the rigatoni alla diavola. Once you order, they bring out a complimentary basket of delicious bread with oil and vinegar. If you want more, there is an additional charge. The food was phenomenal. My husband asked for his pasta to be made extra spicy and they delivered. For dessert, they surprised me with a cannoli. Not only was it divine, but so was the tiramisu and crème brûlée. I couldn't pick just one so I ordered it all! Absolutely spectacular. Highly recommend. Plenty of free parking in the parking lot. The restrooms were clean and well stocked.

It's been a very busy month and a half after retirement and we forgot to celebrate our friend's birthday. So Jen made the decision to go to Nonno's Ristorante for dinner. We'd seen the establishment before but never stopped in until now. It's a cozy restaurant reminiscent of the small family restaurants you'd see in Italy. Service was prompt, courteous and friendly. Our meals were very good. We ordered the Spaghetti alla Napoletana (3 homemade beef meatballs, garlic marinara sauce, basil) with a Caesar Salad (Romaine lettuce, croutons, Parmigiano cheese and Caesar dressing). Washed ot down with a Peroni. All in all, an amazing night with delicious food celebrating with friends.

The food is authentic Italian cuisine!! Tastes fantastic! The ambience is of Italian decor! The service is excellent. They take real good care of you. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Not your typical wine list. They sell by the bottle! Overall experience, I will go again. Medium to high price range.

Made an online reservation for a party of 7 on the Nonno's website (They use a 3rd party booking site & it was a simple process!) less than 24 hours before our desired dinner time. (Added an 8th guest to our party last minute!) We were celebrating my daughters' high school graduation and 2 birthdays. Reservation was for 7pm, we arrived at 6:50pm- table was already beautifully set up & got seated right away! The manager (I assume since he was so attentive & sweet but I don't recall his name) and our server, Mario, made us feel so very welcomed! Excellent dining service! Classy and quaint! I also want to give a HUGE compliment to the young man who assisted Mario- (I failed to get his name as well). I surmise he was the "runner", but he was so very polite and attentive!! Food was delicious!!! 10 out of 10 Nonno's was the absolute cherry on top for our 3 celebrations!! read more

Some girlfriends and I were enjoying a few day at the hot springs nearby, and decided to venture off-site for dinner. Everything at Nonno's was perfect. The waiter was helpful and cheerful and we all raved about our drinks and dinner. I tried the daily special chioppino. The fish was perfect and the sauce was very flavorful. I ate here with a friend on Saturday night and had a good experience overall. The place is very cozy, has charm and would be a cute date night place (I think they have date night deal on Wednesday actually). The server is attentive and came to check on us often, refilling our waters as well. The food we got was good, it was tasty but I do feel like it could have wowed me more for the price. I would definitely eat here again- maybe wait for a Wednesday and take advantage of the date night deal. read more

I was really excited to try this restaurant after hearing so many great things, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. We arrived around 7 PM as a party of three (my husband, our young daughter, and myself). We didn't have a reservation, but the host offered us a patio table, which we gladly accepted. We also requested a high chair, which was provided. After being seated, a busser came by to bring and refill water, but no server ever greeted us. We waited about 30 minutes total without anyone taking our order or even acknowledging us. During that time, we noticed another couple who was seated after us was greeted promptly, had their order taken, received bread, and even got their salad, all while we were still waiting. Since we had our toddler with us and were getting increasingly hungry, we decided to leave. I completely understand that restaurants can get busy, but not being acknowledged at all for that long, especially when others seated after us were helped was frustrating and disappointing. I was really looking forward to trying this place, but this experience left a bad first impression. read more

We ended up eating here after getting spring family photos. The food was amazing, service was fine. We ate on the patio that is right before the entrance and had a lovely time. This would be a great place for a date or romantic dinner. Next time l would love to sit inside just to see the interior. I had a burrata salad and the fettuccini bolognese. Husband had a caesar salad and the beef and vegetable entree. Both were good and we would come back for the food alone. We didn't order a dessert but hopefully next time. This is one of those restaurants that made a good impression on us but we haven't simply been back due to life happenings. We had a wonderful dinner at Nonno's! It was our first time there and I have zero complaints. The food was great, we had the burrata charcuterie, fried artichokes, the ribeye and branzino for our entrees and the affogato and crème brûlée our desserts. From first bite, to the last it was delicious! Our server was Scott, who was equally wonderful. He was attentive and friendly, he knew the menu like the back of his hand and offered his suggestions when we asked. I'll definitely ask to be seated in his section again. All the support staff were terrific as well, we were asked many times if we needed anything, if we were enjoying our meal and never did we have ask for a refill on our drinks. Management never responded to that review. Shocker. So against my better judgment, I gave them another shot this morning. Here's what happened: I have a gluten allergy. I told my waitress. I specifically asked her to check whether one of the menu items was gluten-free -- which she did -- and I clearly asked for my toast on a separate plate so my wife could have it. Simple request. Clear communication. Done. Food came out with bread sitting directly on top of everything on my plate. When I pointed out the mistake and reminded them of my allergy, the person who delivered the food had the audacity to respond with an irritated "I guess we are going to have to remake the food." You messed up the order. The attitude is completely backwards. Then my waitress came back to tell me she "didn't know" about my allergy. I stated it twice and had her look something up because of it. Either she didn't write it down, or the kitchen ignored it entirely. Either way -- a gluten allergy isn't a preference, it's a health issue. First plate took 15 minutes. Remake took another 15. While sitting outside waiting, we overheard our waitress telling another table their order had also been messed up by the kitchen. So it's not just us. Let's be honest about what The Mill serves: basic breakfast. Eggs, bacon, potatoes. This isn't a Michelin-starred tasting menu. It's breakfast. And you still managed to get it wrong twice in one visit. The "breakfast pizza" I've tried before wasn't good either. And the apple chicken sausage? It tastes like wet dog food -- I don't know what's in that but it should not be on the menu. To their credit, they remade the food and our waitress was pleasant despite everything. The hal-o-penyo sauce was genuinely good. That's it. That's the entire list of positives. The real issue is systemic. The kitchen staff is either disorganized or resentful about their own mistakes. Communication between the floor and the kitchen is nonexistent. Management clearly doesn't care -- they didn't respond to my last review, and nothing has changed. A restaurant that can't handle allergy requests for a scrambled eggs order is not a restaurant that takes its customers seriously. I gave you two chances. You burned both. I won't be back, and I'll be making sure my friends and family know exactly what to expect here.

My order was placed at 7:44 AM, and I received my coffee and croissant fairly quickly. However, I was still waiting on the 4 cinnamon rolls I had ordered. Around 20 minutes later, I went up to the counter to check on my order. I was reassured that my cinnamon rolls were being made and told that it usually takes about 30 minutes, so I continued waiting. As more time passed, I noticed customers who ordered both before and after me receiving their orders while I was still waiting. At that point, I started to feel like my order may have been missed. I checked a second time and explained that I felt like my order may have been missed. The gentleman who helped me was much kinder than the first person I spoke with and was apologetic, which I appreciated. Finally, another employee, who I believe was the owner's husband, asked to see my receipt and discovered that my order had been misplaced. I received my cinnamon rolls around 8:30 AM. While I understand that popular items can take time, it was frustrating to find out that my order had actually been misplaced after I had already asked about it twice. Mistakes happen, and I appreciate the owner's husband for being honest about what happened and the gentleman for taking the time to help. I love supporting local businesses and hope this doesn't happen to another customer.

All contains liquids. They put the papaya in a big closable container with a lid. Smart; you'd think everyone would do that. You'd be surprised who just dumps papaya in a styrofoam container! Anyway the squid and beef salads came separately from their salads. They made sure to pack the dry salads in a takeout box and put the mixed proteins in their marinades in another soup containers which was perfect and made it so easy to add on top when ready. I really love that idea! Not only that but the food was good. I really enjoyed the squid salad it had a nice sour balance. The papaya salad I requested Lao style to be the spiciest level 10 but it actually wasn't too spicy. Other restaurants definitely need to take notes because I really just had a bad experience with another Thai restaurant being so careless and my papaya salad sauce spilling not only in the bag but dripped all over my floors. Mmm mmm mmm. I'm disappointed that this has ended tonight. I had an out of body experience tonight and I feel as though this establishment has stolen my taste buds. Let me tell you something, if you are new to Riverside County like my wife and myself, and you do not get out of your neighborhood often, put some nice clothes on, grab your significant other, and come here!!! Menifee is not that far from here and it was worth the short drive. The food was absolutely phenomenal! If you are looking for cheap and large family style portion sized plates, this isn't the place for you. I feel like our portion sizes were the right amount of food to where we were satisfied, had room for dessert, but not left overs which is fine because it's definitely an experience that will have you wanting to come back. This place is ranked in the top 100 restaurants and I think they still live up to that! I had the Fettuccine Mare e Monti, which had the Shrimp, scallops, mushroom, and shallots in a rosemary sherry wine cream. Absolutely to die for! This dish alone put this restaurant in my top two Italian spots I've tried and it isn't number 2. The ambiance was well balanced; family friendly but also romantic! The service was 10/10! My server was knowledgeable and knew his way around the menu, he brought a sense of authenticity with the way he delivered his thoughts of the dishes! Unfortunately, this discomfort manifested physically when a clumsily handled water spill occurred, affecting both the table and my mother. This incident, while unfortunate, could have been forgiven if it weren't for the underlying atmosphere of inequality. On a more positive note, the food was, at best, average. My grandparents were visiting from out of town and we decided to have dinner at Nonno's. We were seated right away (it helps to make a reservation online!!) in front of the small but beautiful bar. The lighting was perfect and they light a candle at your table at the start of your meal. I noticed that every employee kept themself busy and no one was standing around. We started with the most delicious bruschetta, fried artichokes, a complimentary basket of bread and a couple of cocktails. The drinks came promptly and were delicious and beautiful. For entrees, two of us ordered from the menu and two of us ordered the specials that the server mentioned. Everyone was very happy. I was amazed at how hot the food was. I know that everyone dines at a different pace but it felt like the server sensed that we were enjoying our conversations and walked by to make sure he was near but didn't interrupt us by checking on us obsessively. Juan helped me choose the Rigatoni San Remo, while my wife ordered the Rigatoni Alla Diavola, and both dishes were absolutely packed with flavor that made our taste buds smile. Had reservations last night at 7:30 p.m. for Valentines Day on their special menu. it was beyond lovely. Service was on point throughout the entire meal. We had reservation for Saturday night at six pm, the restaurant was packed and we had to wait for about 10 minutes. Totally worth it, the food is always good and fresh, our waitress Erica was very nice and she has great personality, but what actually impressed both me and my husband is when we left and was raining out side, the owner walked my husband to the back parking lot in the rain with an umbrella to get the car, really who does that you don't see this things anymore.
