We celebrated my friend's birthday here at it was a lovely experience. We arrivaround 6:30 and were seated rather quickly. When it came time for drinks, I was informed their bar was quite limited but we could bring in drinks from the circle bar, so needless to say I did. I got the shrimp fried rice and it was plentiful. Since they weren't too busy, we got our food rather quickly. While it was good, it wasn't great and was a bit bland. Luckily I was able to get some pepper and soy sauce and it made a difference. Our server was friendly, attentive and made our dining experience pleasant. This place seems to be a favorite of my friend, especially to celebrate her birthday so I'm sure we'll be back next year.

Discovered this little restaurant on yelp one night when we went to the casino. It is tucked away inside the actual casino so it can be a little easy to miss. But it was a great addition to our outing for a night of gambling and fun! The full menu and the hot and ready food was a great Addition to our night. The staff was friendly and service was very fast and as I said, the food came out piping hot! There are several different options, especially for non-meat eaters or more veggie eaters. I tried the lo mein, which was a good dish, but I wish it had a little more flavor maybe some additional spice or salt. But overall everything in the meal was good. We tried out a sushi roll along with the crab Rangoon, which you can never go wrong with. This is a must stop if you're having a day or night out in the casino!

I have had Asia a few times now and it never disappoints! I have had a great experience every time. I don't think I will ever stray away from the general tsos chicken, it's so delicious and the serving makes the price well worth it. I would highly recommend trying it! The staff is always wonderful, I feel like they really go the extra mile to make the experience great, they are always to polite and kind and even box your food for you. Asia is definitely a unique vibe as it's a more upscale restaurant that is actually inside the casino which is super unique and interesting. It's one of my favorite restaurants in the area and I would highly recommend to anybody, I will definitely be back

If you want a fusion of Asian stop here if you are at the casino! They offer Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese. Very good and the customer service is great!

The best Asian food in St.Louis! I have tried many dishes but so far my favorites are the Hot Chili Catfish and the Honey Walnut Shrimp. The servings are huge so be hungry when you go! I can't say enough good things about this place! The people are very friendly and personable. Sit at the counter and watch them cook if you can..

Great dinner on a Friday night! We had to wait a few minutes to be seated, but after that it was smooth sailing. Our server was a delight, she was attentive and ready with suggestions when we asked. I tried a Cascading Soju, which was refreshing. The candied ginger on top was so pretty. We started with the classic Crab Rangoon, which I recommend. For my entrée, I had the deluxe fried rice and it was really tasty, but I would have liked some veggies in it and less onion (but that's my personal preference). My friend had the honey walnut shrimp and that dish is a winner. The manger came by and was very nice, he also offered us his recommendations. They deliver towels to you table to clean your hands and have regular utensils and chopsticks on the table. And since everything was so good, I snagged a to go order of potstickers for lunch the next day...they were fantastic! I look forward to going back, as I've got the Pad Thai on my mind. (Oh! And the check is delivered in a delicious way!)

Asia is a really cute, (you guessed it) Asian themed restaurant tucked in the far back of the casino floor at Ameristar Casino. I was given fresh warm towels upon first being greeted by my waitress, which was a nice touch. I ordered the crab rangoon, the Asia Delux fried rice, and a cocktail (sorry I forgot the name of it but it's a rum punch). First of all, the drink looked really exquisite with the large, haute couture looking fruit slice hanging on the rim of the glass (sorry i don't know what fruit it was but it had a bright pink edge with a white center with black dots, very chic). It was extremely sweet, kind of too sweet. The restaurant only has three signature cocktails on the menu. On one hand, that probably helps them streamline their menu, but on the other hand, they need more options. The crab rangoon was extremely fresh! Have you ever had freshly made crab rangoon? This was still warm and soft from just coming out of the grease - fresh. It was good. the Delux fried rice, wasn't bad. It definitely isn't your typical shopping plaza Chinese food variety, but is what you'd expect a nicer restaurant's option to be. Beef, chicken, shrimp, and veggies come in it. I definitely had to add soy sauce to it to give it more flavor. The funnest part of the meal was when I got the check. it's served in a giant, homemade fortune cookie that you can eat. It was really cute and creative. Asia is a nice addition to the arsenal of restaurants at Ameristar. The staff was all friendly and knowledgable about the menu as well. If you're in the area (or at the casino), and are in the mood for Chinese food with a little more fresh quality than normal, check out Asia.

I understand Asia is located on the casino floor. If this is correct, do you have to walk through the gaming area (where smoking is allowed) to get to it or is there another entrance?

Good afternoon. Asia is located on the casino floor to the right after you walk through the turnstiles. There is not another entrance. We hope to see you soon.

I knew they don't take reservations and won't seat an incomplete party, but I still got there a little early just to see if we could grab a table for five. I was surprised (in a good way) when they seated me before everyone else arrived. I even told the hostess I didn't mind waiting, but she encouraged me to go ahead and sit, which was really nice. Our server was super friendly and made sure I was taken care of while I waited. As my friends started arriving, he was quick to get them settled in too. We started with some non-alcoholic drinks and spent some time chatting before diving into the menu. It was honestly hard to pick just one thing, so I went with both the chicken pho and fried rice. I knew I wouldn't finish it all, but I really wanted both. Once we ordered, everything moved smoothly--our server checked in, made sure drinks were filled, and kept things organized. When the food came out, everything looked amazing and tasted just as good. Of course, with all the catching up we were doing, it took us a while to finish, but there was no rush at all. When we were ready, he brought the checks and was more than happy to split them out (always appreciate that!). Before leaving, I ordered a to-go meal for my husband and asked for a box for my leftovers. Our server actually took my plate and packed everything up in the back, which I wasn't expecting but really appreciated. He also brought out the to-go order right when it was ready. Honestly, everything, from the space to the service to the food, was just great. I'm already looking forward to going back again soon.

I dropped in on a Saturday evening and ordered the **Shroomed Up** ramen, and it was a ramen masterclass in a bowl. The broth managed to be incredibly rich and deeply savory-sweet all at once, without ever feeling heavy. It was loaded with thick, substantial slabs of mushrooms, tender-cooked bok choy, and the noodles were the star of the show--thick and perfectly cooked to that ideal sweet spot where they aren't too chewy but have zero mushiness. Even with a line stretching out the door when we arrived, the wait wasn't tedious, and we reached the counter reasonably fast. The ordering process is standard counter service, but the staff member who took our order was incredibly nice, polite, and helpful, practically predicting my questions as I was looking over the menu. The same employee even brought our bowls out to us. The space was definitely crowded for a weekend night, but the seat-yourself setup worked out perfectly for the two of us; we still had three tables to choose from. The service was questionable - made me feel a little weird when I walked in, but that's fine. We got to our cramped table and got seated. Our waiter was really great though because he was very honest - he immediately told us which items did not work for my restrictions. As mentioned, that ended up being most of the menu, leaving only cold sides/salads as things I could consider. He offered to let us leave (lol) without charging us - because to no-show/cancel a reservation is a hefty fee of 20$ per person. It felt very weird to leave within five minutes of sitting down... So I have to say thank you to the waiter for being knowledgeable about the menu and dietary restrictions. However, for a restaurant with these kinds of ratings (and prices) , I expected so much more. Very non-inclusive of a huge portion of the population who does not eat certain meats. Thank you to the waiters who are honest and know the menu like ours did, but I think the menu could be vastly improved.
