Pickup "window"
Nicole W.

The takeout window is odd. It's basically the prison bar type of experience meant to ward off theft. I'm not sure the area necessitates that, but maybe I'm wrong. The food was great! A good, classic fried rice with seemingly quality ingredients. My whole family enjoyed it. We will definitely add this to the takeout rotation.

Panang Curry

Some dishes here are better than others. The Pad Thai is good. The Panang Curry, on the other hand, had zero flavor. Seriously, none. I've had various sushi rolls here. Sushi is decent. We placed an order online on Mother's Day. It was supposed to be ready in 20 minutes. We waited over additional minutes to get the food. Disappointing.

Ordered take out this past weekend while in town visiting my sister and brother in law. We ordered a variety of rolls and sushi appetizers. The sushi pizza is one of my go to's. My sister loves their tuna tartare, it is served with a raw egg yolk. Our pick up order was ready promptly and everything tasted fresh.

This place is in a shopping center and I can't even remember what shopping center because I was too busy looking for it. Oops. There's plenty of parking and it's quaint inside. They've got booths, tables and a sushi bar. The menu has lots of pictures and pages. Prices are decent. We got the sushi for 2 $46 with 14 pieces of sushi and 2 rolls of chefs choice. Everything was awesome. I wish they would've given more variety in the sushi choices but the fish was a nice size and a good taste. I'm not sure what the rolls were but one looked like rainbow roll and I think the other was maybe spicy something with scallops inside, but I'm not positive. They have chinese food also so instead of miso soup, you can start with hot and sour. They don't do both soup & salad, so you pick one or the other. Our waiter was friendly and came by pretty often, so I'd go back to this place.

Veggie hibachi

Super disappointed to report this. We decided to try a new place than our regular local spots tonight. We definitely won't be back. This place is absolutely terrible in every way. All of our food was less than subpar. It started with our take out order. My veggie hibachi was rung up chicken hibachi minus chicken LOL. How does that even happen? So we order veggie chicken and they decide to charge us for chicken ringing it up this way? We when called to ask and they gave us some stupid excuse that they gave us extra veggies instead. How does 5 pieces of broccoli equal what a serving of chicken would've cost? The second meal we ordered was panang chicken curry. So both of our meals were not what we ordered. They didn't t taste anything like what they should've. The veggie hibachi didn't have any hibachi flavor at all in fact had very little flavor at all, the yum yum sauce tasted store bought and had a synthetic lemon flavor to it. The panang curry had zero taste of "curry". Not sure what could possibly be good at this place or who is actually giving good reviews. I worked at a family owned Chinese restaurant for 10 years and have been around good Asian food most of my life - this isn't it.

I usually am very happy with everything I order from Asian Cafe. My order this evening is disappointing. I requested extra wasabi, soy sauce and two sets of chopsticks. I did not receive any of these items. It is not that big of a deal, but the food did not taste as fresh as it should have. My spider roll was pretty much not eatable. The avocado in my caterpillar roll was brown. The rice on my spicy tuna roll was crunchy and the tuna was grainy. $44 later, this stinks.

Omakazi Platter

This place has impressed me with their sushi. This is my go to place for delivery sushi. The presentation is always top notch and the cuts of fish are are generous. The other hot dishes Chinese and Thai are just as good too. Here is a picture of the "Omakazi" platter. I'll forgive the misspelling since it is really good and worth the price. Great party platter! As an example, I ordered a similar type platter from "Bishoku", at a similar price and was disappointed beyond words. This place is the real thing. They should be proud.

St. Patrick's Roll, Spicy Tuna, and Beauty and the Beast Roll
Lauren S.

Danny, the owner and one of the sushi chefs, has an art with sushi. We have been coming here since the first week they opened and cannot say enough great things about this restaurant! Our personal favorites are the Kani Salad, Beauty and the Beast Roll, Mongolian Beef and Vegetable Lo- mein, and Dunwoody roll! Asian cafe never disappoints!

Good lunch specials, food was good and so was the service. The waitresses were very friendly and the place was clean. Mellow ambiance

It's just I don't how to distinguish one from another and I really don't care about the decor. This place is really made for to go orders. There's two small tables in the center but I think most people don't eat here. The General Tso was decent. I really can't tell if it's that different from other Chinese American places. It was sweet but not overly sweet. The wife enjoyed the steak lo mein and felt like the portions were pretty large. I thought it could've used more steak but that may be just me. Would I come here again? Probably not. It's a decent +15 min drive for me and I think I pass by at least three Chinese American restaurants. I'm not sure they are better or worse.

We waited as instructed, but never received any text or update. What made the experience even more upsetting was how we were treated when we arrived with our service animal. Instead of simply following the ADA guidelines, it felt like the staff were looking for reasons to deny us entry. They asked multiple questions and ultimately assumed our service animal was an emotional support animal (ESA), even though that was not the case. Based on that incorrect assumption, they denied us service. We chose to leave politely rather than argue, but it was an embarrassing and frustrating experience. There were no signs posted indicating any restrictions regarding service animals, and legitimate service animals are protected under federal law. If you have a disability and rely on a service animal, I would not recommend this restaurant based on our experience. We left feeling disrespected and disappointed by how the situation was handled.

We started with the dumplings, and they were fantastic--perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor. For our main courses, we ordered the Beef Noodles and the Pork Noodles, and both dishes were outstanding. The noodles had the perfect texture, the flavors were rich and well-balanced, and the portions were generous. Every bite tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. We also shared the Mixed Fried Rice, which was excellent. It wasn't just a side dish--it could easily be a meal on its own. It was loaded with ingredients, perfectly seasoned, and had that authentic wok flavor that makes great fried rice so satisfying. The service was outstanding. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and efficient without ever making us feel rushed. Our server checked on us regularly, answered our questions, and made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was lively, modern, and inviting. Even though the restaurant was busy, it was well organized, clean, and had a great energy. It's the kind of place where you immediately feel comfortable. If you're in the Sandy Springs area and enjoy Asian cuisine, Food Terminal is absolutely worth a visit. Delicious food, generous portions, excellent service, and a fun atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

If you come just know that there is parking around. It may not look like it but there is. I came in and sat immediately but there were places at the bar. I could have sat as well so they have a lot of seating. If you don't see it just know that there is seating. They are super friendly. Well they were the last time I was there and very helpful. They have one of the little robots there so that definitely adds to the ambience of all of it but overall it's very nice and very clean inside. Honey butter wings - so the wings were okay. I didn't really get a lot of honey and butter with them so the name was a little misleading to me. Although they did have a hint of sweet to them, it wasn't what I would've called honey butter in the name. They were fried crispy and very well so that was something to their credit. They came with a musumine, cilantro, and lime sauce that was actually okay but a little on the sweeter side. Szeuchan steam wonton - the wontons were pretty good. They came at like eight wontons so it came with a lot. They had a pretty decent size and they weren't super tiny. The flavor was definitely there inside of the sauce and there was a lot of sauce on there. I actually used some of the sauce for another dish because there was so much so that was good. Grandma bbq pork (rice) - you could get the grandma barbecue in a couple of different ways and I decided to get mine with noodles. The dish will come basically looking like ramen, only without the broth, but it's very good presentation. It had an egg on top and it had three crispy wontons in there as well and two big hunks of bok choy, which I really didn't mess with. The pork itself was really good and tender and very flavorful. You could get this in a pasta dish or a rice dish or by itself and it would still be good and flavorful. Overall this is a pretty good spot to stop in if you want to try a myriad of different Asian cuisine types.

I'm thinking I just picked the wrong things... even though every dish should be at their best. Still, I am definitely interested in giving them another chance. I got the Tom Yum soup: Bowl with veggies, Thai Hot. The flavor was decent but unfortunately, it was not Thai hot. Truth be told, it wasn't even hot... more medium with a bunch of chili flakes that settled at the bottom of the container. My soup was mostly all broth and barely any veggies. I expected a lot more from this especially since I didn't choose a protein. It should've been packed with veggies. I'm a big fan of tom yum, so this was pretty disappointing. The other item I ordered was the fresh basil roll with shrimp & peanut sauce. It was nicely wrapped and a good portion (two big rolls). However, it should've come with two portions of dipping sauce (one barely cut it). I should've asked for both peanut sauce and hoisin sauce. Sadly, the ratios here also felt off... mostly all lettuce and not much of any of the other ingredients. I can't speak on ambiance or service since we got takeout, but I'd love to come in and experience it for myself. Prices seem good but I also feel based on my experience, that it's misleading! A bowl of soup and an appetizer for under $15 (my work lunch limit) is pretty good especially when you compare to other places around town. However, my items were kind of just "fluff." In other words, I paid for a roll of mostly lettuce (cheap) and a bowl of mostly broth (also inexpensive). Despite my harsh critique, I feel it must've been an off day or something. I want to experience what other reviewers experienced, and would love to try again. Maybe I'll get a curry or noodle dish next!
