AMAZINGLY AUTHENTIC yummy Thai!…read more First experience thete was wonderful. Each meal made felt like it was cooked with love. We ordered a LOT and loved it all. Pad Woon Sen - glassy noddle dish with chicken was my sons favorite dish but not mine as glass noodles were not always my first choice. EVERTHING here was so tasty and fresh. Pad See Ew - very tasty!! Thai Basil - with chicken was delicious! Thai Cashew Nut with Beef - excellent, kids loved the beef the most but asked for no cashews when I served them. Tom Yom Soup - very hearty and great flavor. Glad it wasn't too spicy. Spring Rolls - could have tasted better with more veggies but still one of the best Asian spring rolls around town. But the best was the dessert! Never had mango sticky rice or coconut cistard as good as I've had here. We went around 2 PM so there was only one other table there. Food came out in a reasonable time, but the dessert took an exceptionally a long time to make. Make a note to order that well ahead of time if you don't like to wait the extra 20 minutes for dessert. Wait staff was excellent as well!! Would totally come here again. Ps. My kids asked to go back the next day. They never ask that. We will definitely be back soon! I can't wait to try more dishes.

The tom kha was super comforting and perfect amount of coconut milk. I got the shrimp fried rice and it was very good. I got all my dishes "Thai spicy" for the spice level and I will say it was spicy for sure. I tried the hot and sour soup ( tom yum) and that was also splendid. I will have the leftovers at work for lunch for sure as I'm feeling pretty full. Definitely one of the good Thai food spots in metro Detroit I've tried.

Finally Found Authentic Thai That Hits Every Craving (5 and )…read more This Thai Fusion spot is a must. After moving back from California, my Thai food drought is officially over. Been craving Thai food nonstop, and after plenty of letdowns, I finally found my fix at Prime Thai. This spot nails the flavors, fresh, bold, and authentic. On my first visit I went with the hyped Pad Bi Kra Basil with fried egg, plus the Thai peanut curry, fried tofu, and Thai tea. Every dish hit, but the Pad Bi Kra Basil was the star: sweet, savory, with just the right medium spicy kick. Pro tip: order an extra fried egg, ask for the yolk about 80% cooked, and add a splash of soy or fish sauce. Absolute game-changer.

Compared to previous kitchen, the flavors of the food we ordered today was on the sweet side ... especially the ones with coconut milk like gang dang and khao soi. We ordered the prime chicken wings and shrimp roll for appetizers. The chili sauce was good. Before the servers goes back to the kitchen, better ask to have the wings cook longer so it's not cold inside the part. Very impressive is the presentation of the Khao Soi...it's like the Chinese version of the birds nest egg noodles with sautéed vegetables in white sauce on top. You mix the sauce and the noodles to soften and enjoy eating ... again tasted sweet because of the coconut milk added as ingredient. Meals and drinks were served fast. Price reasonable. Moderate sized portions - 1 main course can feed 2-3 persons. Located next to a gym of Anytime fitness and across is the dollar tree store. Free parking. Food and service was good. Overall, the dining experience was good. My only suggestion to the restaurant management is to play background music so we couldn't hear ourselves eating ‍

The Crab Crunch Roll wasn't a big hit amongst friends as the coating on the outside of the rice has a funny taste that we just didn't love. Oak Park Roll was a nice twist on a California roll, the pineapple added a nice sweetness! And both the Eel Avocado and Dragon roll were delicious, though I absolutely love eel so I am biased. It looks nice inside and the kitchen is something like an open concept. There is seating inside but I don't think it I'd ever want to dine in, this definitely feels like a place you only get takeout from. We ordered online and their website told us it would be about 15 minutes, but it wasn't ready until 45 minutes after we placed our order. Maybe it's just an automated responses from the website to guess your wait time, but this could be really frustrating if you show up and expect your food to be ready and half to wait another 30 minutes.

I have come to really appreciate and enjoy the food here, please continue to be excellent. We got a carry-out order with so much. We got the fried potstickers, so crispy and delicious. We got the crab meat wantons, I am craving them right now, so crispy and yummy. I got the calzone sushi, it was crunchy on the outside and creamy delicious on the inside, I want this one every time. We got the Philadelphia roll, a summer roll with jalapenos, a cucumber and avocado roll, and the most surprising delicious treat, a crunchy chicken roll, another must have. We also got a side order of lo mien noodles, they are so good and savory, I love an order of this every time. The people working here were so kind and the portions were huge and the prices were great. We were able to order, walk around Meijer then come back and get the food with ease. Since my first time, I have stopped by a few times, and one child comes here all of the time with friends. It is a neighborhood staple.

This is a shame because when we both worked in Waterford years ago, there were THREE excellent Thai spots down on M-59, which is just a tad far for takeout where we are. Friendly service, clean as a whistle inside & the pad Thai was delicious. Be aware that the chef has a bit of a heavy hadn't, so mild+ might be closer to medium for some palates. Probably our new Thai takeout spot!

We always try to check our food before we leave the restaurant if we carry out since I do not want to drive back, especially if it is far. I could already tell from the look of the food that it would not be my favorite. I ordered three sushi rolls. I checked those first. One, which was larger and not pictured here, was all there. The second, for some reason a smaller roll, also only had one roll. We told the cashier and the chef we were missing a roll. The cashier said to look in the small container, which I had already inspected right in front of her. It was not there. Then she needed to see it, and told me to show her. Then she wanted to see the receipt even though she knew we ordered three, she took the order. Then she asked me which one was missing even though she could see which ones we had and read the receipt. The names of the sushi rolls were so similar, I gave the ingredients of the missing item. Finally, they acknowledged they did not give it to me and had to make it. After going home, I tried the sushi. It was really the worst sushi I have ever tasted and I do not mind gas station or grocery store sushi. The rice was so super sweet, it tasted like pure sugar. The salmon looked like tuna and did not taste great. The larger sushi was about $14 and was not worth the price and the other two rolls were not fresh or delicious. Very disappointing. We also had Pad Thai, curry rice, and Pad See-ew. They were not overly flavorful and the noodles of the Pad See-ew were stuck together, and there were many spots of the rice that did not get mixed into the sauce or seasoning. The leftovers were not too bad, but still, I will not be back. Looking at the other reviews, people do seem to like it here, so I always say try it for yourself, we might have different tastes and opinions.
