General's Chicken combo with fried rice & an egg roll with a side ored of beef teriyaki.

Highest rated Chinese food place in the area so I gave it a shot. All items tasted great. The teriyaki beef was a little over cooked so it was a bit tough and the general's chicken was a little too crunchy. Neither of these issues were deal breakers. I would recommend and I will be back.

Yuen Sing is tucked away in the corner of a strip plaza (Smitty's Cinema/Dollar Tree) near the Tilton/Franklin line, eat-in or takeout. I've stopped in here for Chinese food for dinner after shopping at the Dollar Tree or before seeing a movie at Smitty's, when I get beer and snacks only. The menu offerings are pretty standard, including 25 Lunch Specials ($4.49-$4.99) and 20 Combination Platters ($6.29-$7.29) offered. The portions are pretty good. This strip plaza eatery is an order at the counter (open kitchen) place with plenty of self serve seating and also offers a decent sized Chinese buffet, offering weekday lunch ($5.99), weekend lunch ($6.99) and the dinner buffet ($6.99) on Thursday-Saturday evenings. Though the times I've stopped here (on a Monday and Tuesday night), the buffet was not on. So, the Pork Lo Mein (C12) and Shrimp Chow Mein (C2) combos were the choices I've ordered off the menu. The food was decent and the egg rolls were tasty and wide stuffed with cabbage and ground pork. The service here was efficient and I was enjoying my food in no time. Overall 3.3 stars

Unfortunately, this is one of the worst Chinese food places around. The chicken was very unpleasant.

In short, this is my "go to" Chinese restaurant, mainly because their "Lunch and Dinner Specials," which are always available, give me everything I want: Egg Roll, Rice, and Main item, plus fortune cookie, for a reasonable price. I usually get Szechuan Chicken or Chow Mein, but also order Pork or Chicken Lo Mein either as stand alone or as a substitute for the rice in the order (slight upcharge). The Egg Roll, as noted by other reviewers, is large and excellent, as is the pork fried rice that comes with most dishes. I often substitute white rice, which is also great. Only once in those 15 years did I get something that wasn't 5-stars: Sesame chicken. It was just a bit too sweet and came as golfball-sized chicken nuggets. Guess you can always find something to complain about. But overall, I drive 30 minutes and pass by three other chinese places to get to Million Dragon, and never go anywhere else unless I want to sit down (they have a few ables, but no one seems to eat there) and be waited on (then Green Ginger fits the bill). I highly recommend you give them a try.

They offer the standard Chinese American fare including lunch & dinner combinations and chef's specials. I stopped by Kai's Kitchen for dinner takeout on a Friday night and the place was extremely busy including many customers doing online ordering and calling in. I ordered and paid at the counter for the Singapore Mei Fun ($11.15 plus tax) and the Shrimp & Scallop Supreme ($14.35 plus tax) with white rice. My order took a while to be all set (32 minutes) since they were getting crushed and more customers began showing up to order with 40-45 minute waits for food to be ready. Repeat customers were raving about their food. Anyways, I sat down to enjoy some of my hot food before heading to Plymouth for a night out. The Shrimp & Scallops Supreme had a mix of tender shrimp, scallops, green peppers, baby corn, broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, pea pods, & bamboo in a sweet garlic sauce. The white rice was soft and cooked right. The Singapore Mei Fun had a mix of soft thin noodles, curry, baby shrimp, ham, roast pork, scallion, carrots, cabbage, and egg. The food was delicious overall and I had ample leftover food. I would stop by again during the week or for lunch when it's not crazy busy.
