Went here for lunch and the lao sausage banh mi was delicious! The service was fast and very friendly. The decor is also very cute and I had a pleasant time dining in. Would recommend this spot for a yummy

I first went to the Asian Duck Cafe in Minneapolis last month and the food, staff, and overall atmosphere was top notch! So when I found out there was another Asian Duck in Plymouth that was closer to me I was super excited to dig into the dishes I had before (Beef Banh Mi, Cranberry Cream Cheese Wontons, Fried Dumplings, & Lao Sausage Fried Rice) and to also try something new. Well the same dishes I ordered again didn't hit like they did at the other location and they don't serve you the food when you dine in, instead you grab each dish at the counter when it's ready so your basically carrying hot dishes back and forth to your table. I will say the redeeming factor is the staff is very friendly, the space is a lot bigger than their other location and the new dish I did try was the red curry which I overly enjoyed and will get again! I also want to note that I would give this place some grace as they just opened up recently and I believe it will get better!

Thai Thai Iced Coffee 6 Cranberry Cream Cheese Wontons

I stopped by this Thai/Vietnamese restaurant for lunch today and really enjoyed it a lot. I was politely greeted right away when I came inside. The atmosphere is super casual and there are very few sit down tables (6 tables I believe). Rather than it being full service you took a seat with a menu and then when ready to order, do so from the counter which I don't mind too much. The food came in about 10-12 min after ordering which was great. I ordered the Thai/Vietnamese style coffee to drink, which is always like drinking dessert. It was really delicious and I'm glad I ordered it. To eat I ordered the Cranberry Wontons as an appetizer and the Pad Thai with chicken (my go-to anytime I try a new Thai restaurant since I like to compare between this place and some of my favorites. The wontons were delicious, though not exactly what I expected. The wontons themselves are regular cream cheese wontons. Where the cranberries are is in the dipping sauce. They were delicious but did wish the cranberries would be in the cream cheese as well as the sauce and also wished I'd been given a bit more dipping sauce. There was enough for about 4 of the 6 wontons. The Pad Thai was really delicious. Was a nice combo of sweet and nutty just how I enjoy. The portion size was really nice. I did ask for spicy, but it wasn't very spicy for my palate. I don't want Minnesota spicy, I'd rather have Thai spicy. Overall I'm really happy that I stopped by for lunch today. The delicious food and the very friendly employees will definitely have me stopping by again soon.

The standout dish for us was the Tom Yum Ramen--it completely exceeded our expectations. We also really enjoyed the basil wings, though they were on the smaller side. The Jeow Bong Fried Rice was the spiciest dish we ordered, and I was happy to find that it wasn't "Minnesota spicy". It actually had a nice kick! The open kitchen adds to the experience, and the balcony dining room was bright and inviting with plenty of natural light. Overall, a great meal, and we'll definitely be back.

They also have an open kitchen view which is always fun to see. The basil wings are a must have. If you've been to their sister restaurant then you already know. You'll see these wings on every table and their is a reason why. We also got the garlic green beans which had a great crunch and freshness to the beans. The sauce was so good we put that on rice to make sure nothing went to waste. Dinner was Red Curry with Chicken and the Short Ribs. The Short Ribs were very tender and juicy. The peanut sauce had a good amount of peanut flavor with umami that went great with the short. The Red Curry was top tier! The chicken was super juicy and thai basil gave it great brightness and freshness to the dish.

Great New place in Plymouth!!! Service is very friendly!…read moreFood tastes authentic, specially the spice you can go up to number 5 if you dare! My personal favorite is Khao Sou with chicken, it is a northern Thai dish which most Thai restaurants don't normally have! It tastes just like eating in Chiangmai(northern Thailand). The sittings are nice as well! There's a section where it can be more private. Planning to have a party there soon! GREAT PLACE! Highly recommended!!!

I'm so glad he recommended this place, the food was so good! The restaurant is located in a strip mall right by a great boba tea place (we went there for dessert so great bonus). Inside is simple, clean, and modern. The menu isn't big but it includes all of the staples that you would expect to find at a good Thai experience. We were sharing plates with little ones so we just ordered a mixture of food from the menu including pineapple fried rice, pad thai, pram ram long song, mango sticky rice and some cream cheese puffs. All of the dishes were flavorful, tasty and came in big portions for the price point. It was a wonderful meal to share with friends! We had so much food to eat and enjoy. The pram ram was excellent heated up the next day for a quick work lunch. I highly recommend this place for authentic and tasty Thai food.

I'm glad I finally tried Oyama Sushi, an overall wonderful experience!…read more I visited at lunch, which was surprisingly quiet for dine-in. Takeout, however, stayed nonstop busy with steady orders and delivery pickups. That seemed like a great sign. I was surprised by the spacious interior as it appeared smaller from the outside. There are ample tables and booths for any group size, and the atmosphere is ideal for a quiet, calming meal. Our server was polite and attentive, taking our order soon after seating us and delivering everything promptly. We ordered: - Japanese Shumai: served hot, with a crispy exterior and juicy interior, these were such a good bite! I could've eaten 20! Pro tip: I recommend ordering two servings if you're considering this app. - Chicken Fried Rice: a generous portion served with house-made yum yum sauce, complemented our sushi rolls perfectly. - Royal Dragon Roll: King crab, shrimp tempura and cream cheese topped with eel, avocado, spicy mayo & eel sauce. - Firecracker Roll: Shrimp tempura, snow crab, avocado topped with spicy tuna, spicy sriracha mayo. The sushi rolls were exceptional--tightly packed, well held together, and flavorful! Overall, the meal was delicious and satisfying without being overly heavy. We had a great lunch and will return to try more rolls. It's great to have another quality, family-friendly sushi option in the area.

It satisfied our sushi craving, but certainly wasn't standout sushi. If you've had really good sushi, Oyama will be ok for you, but nothing near amazing. We did have one roll with cream cheese that most of us didn't really like, but we still ate it, so there's that. Our server was attentive and we all had sake that everyone enjoyed. For suburb sushi it's quite good. For sushi in general, it's ok. I will give it 4 stars for suburb sushi. For sushi in general, it's more like a 3.
