Don't let the name fool you, they are just as amazing at full body massages as they are with foot massage. By day, I am a hunched over office goblin who spends countless hours sitting at a desk, which has naturally led to back problems. Particularly I had been having bad issues with my neck and upper back area where it was impossible to move the area without the tightness. So I visited Asian Foot Massage Spa, and was taken care of by Tom. He listened to and addressed my concerns, paying particular attention to my problem areas and even easing up when it was clear the pressure was a little too much for me. Driving to the massage was an ordeal but finally going home I finally felt relaxed and at ease. The whole cost for a 60 minute full-body massage was $60 + tip. Went in for a 1 Hour Foot Massage not understanding it's basically an over the clothes massage with a concentration or more time spent on your feet. So shorts and a tank top work great. I've been back since, and plan to go back regularly. I've been lucky enough to be the only one there on several occasions so it's been quiet, peaceful and a relaxing treat. The price is right ($40 before tip) and I leave totally relaxed. Remember to bring sun glasses. It's a jolt to hit daylight when you leave feeling like a limp noodle. The surroundings are kind of sketchy looking if you don't know the area, but don't let that deter you, it's not a bad area. This is the first place we've been to where they don't make you pay before your appointment. They took us to the massage tables right away and were very welcoming. I didn't get the name of my husbands masseuse but she was a short petite lady with long, dark hair. My masseuse was Tony. They were both phenomenal. They truly demonstrated that they knew what they were doing, focusing on tense areas and applying the perfect pressure to each point. Come here once a week with the wifey for the $20 hr "foot massage". The hour consists of soaking feet in warm water, massage to neck, shoulders, arms, head, low back and after the soak, to ur feet. The $20 massage caveat is clothes stay on and u are in the main public room which consists of 3 tables. If u splurge and get the $40 hour massage, u get a private room and u go commando. They give special attention as well to those problem knots and u get hot stones with it. Tip: they are all certified massage therapists. All I can say is OMG!!! The guy who massaged me changed my life! I practically crawled in the massage place because I was in so much foot pain from planters fasciitis. I was beyond desperate. I tried everything! From doctors, chiropractors & acupuncture. The doctors mostly just want to pump u with meds and don't get me wrong the chiropractor & acupuncture provided relief but was temporary. I even saw a foot doctor and they want to give u the bulky orthopedic inserts that don't fit in any of your shoes or the other option of approved shoes with inserts built in which are gawd awful Frankenstein looking and come on!!!! What girl wants to wear Frankenstein looking shoes?!! I was almost starting to accept my fate that my beautiful shoes would all have to be donated & I would just have to rock the Frankenstein look the best I could, until I got this massage. I'm so upset I didn't get his name but he was amazing! Like he studied my body for years with just a few glances & touches. He was "no, no, no...I can't just give u a foot massage u have too many issues here! Is your thigh going numb? Do u have high BP? Etc every question he asked he nailed it! It's like he knew what my body was screaming for and he proceeded to fix it. He pulled and shook my leg and I swear it popped & snapped back where it was suppose to be!! I let out a HUGE OMG he said my hips were rotating! He saved me!!! So I want to be clear this was not a relaxing massage in anyway...it was therapy! He fixed me so there was some discomfort & a little pain during but I swear to u I have NEVER felt better! I even waited a few weeks to post! He said I was a mess & NEEDED TO STRETCH everyday!
