This is likely the worst Chinese buffet I have been to. Very poor selection of items that had very evidently been sitting out for far too long. I had a few chicken dishes that were lukewarm. All I can say is waste of money- spent less than a half hour here out of fear of food poisoning. Will not return. read more

We went here Christmas Day for lunch because very few places were open. It was packed, and so we thought that there would be a better chance the food would replenished regularly. The food was below average in taste. So we tried the hibachi. Having tried many hibachi places, like Mongo's grill, we thought it was a safe bet. The hibachi was not cleaned between patrons, and neither were the paddles, which is pretty normal practices. Both of our dishes were beyond salty. My husband put only one scoop of sauce, were I put 2-3. Will not go back there. read more

The customer service by the lady at the counter, apparently the owner, with short black hair, is a disgrace to the restaurant industry. First of all, although you pay to eat a Buffett, she stands behind the counter and monitors your moves with stares and glares, basically calculating the amount of food you eat. Apparently if she does not like you, for reasons that include eating too much based on her visual calculations, she will single you out and automatically add a tip to your bill. Sounds likes form of customer discrimination to me. I will have to investigate into that, and possibly file a complaint against them. The bathrooms are so disgusting, I can only imagine what the condition of the kitchen is like. I can only hope for the sake of the employees, that they are treated better then the customers, however based on the many new faces of the staff, I assuming the place is a constant revolving door of staff. Conclusion: I recommend staying away from this place and find a honest restaurant where you feel welcome and your presence is appreciated. read more

My husband and I have visited the Asian Garden buffet many times. Our meals this evening didn't disappoint. I am trying to cut down on carbs; there was a plentiful selection. After my tasty hot & sour soup, I sampled the salmon and whitefish which were delicious. I also had a little barbecued pork, teriyaki chicken, and beef with mushrooms. They also have a great veggie vinaigrette salad, and pickled mushrooms. The mushrooms were an interesting blend of sweet, hot and spicy. I indulged in some honeydew melon and fresh pineapple for desert. They also have a nice sushi selection, fresh peel & eat shrimp, Jello jigglers, cookies, ice cream, etc. They have a Mongolian grill in the corner that has a nice selection. There are many other salad and appetizer selections, rice, fried rice, chicken egg drop soup, lo mein, egg rolls, crab rangoon, too many to mention here. All for a mere $12.50 per person! Try it, you'll like it! They have a dish for every taste and diet. read more

We love to eat here. In the fox cities area there are a few other chinese buffets but the food is nowhere close to this. The food is great. They also have a counter where you can pick your raw food and he will cook it right there in front of you. read more

My husband and I went to this restaurant on Sunday (today), We have been here a few times. Whenever we are shopping down town Appleton and get hungry for Asian food. we will stop in. But recently I have noticed that things may not be as good it seem there. I usually will wash my hands before eating so I went into the ladies washroom and notice that the bins were filled with paper and some of the dors in the toilet could not close or even lock. We went around 2:30pm and was seated, I notice that when the host seated us there was stains from a soda glass on the table. She took the silverware that she was about to give us and quickly wiped the stains with them wrapped in the paper napkin. She asked us what we will be drinking and quickly walked away. I went to the buffet and noticed that most of the food trays were empty and dry. After i filled my plate with what I can get i walked to my table and sat down to eat. While i was putting the paper napkin on my lap I noticed a huge fly in the center on my food eating away. I used my hand to chase it away but it was so huge and somewhat filled with food it could not move fast enough. I just placed the untouched food to the side of the table. I was so ashamed and totally disgusted that I never even complained, I dont know how the system works in the city of Appleton but I think an inspection is needed at this restaurant. Also the vents are so nasty, looking up is not helpful while eating. I prefer to eat at the Chinese restaurant at Northland Mall whenever I am in a rush. The food taste much better, the price is better and you get to serve yourself soda. tea. hot chocolate etc.. I wont return to this nasty restaurant until things change. read more

We had stopped here becuse our car had overheated and me and my boyfriend were wanting chineese. It started out with a menh bland menu but i liked the mongolian. We got 20 minutes into dinner when the waiter brought us the check. HE HONESTLY wanted us to finish our FIRST PLATE and leave. Which me being female had all of 2 things not even 1/3 of the plate full. At this point i felt embarased that we were being rushed out. We paid the bill and left with only one plate for him and 1/3 a plate for me. Went out to the car, and than had to wait another 20 minutes for it to cool down before we could drive out. Disgusting! Went there today and in my water, there was a fortunoe cookie paper in my water. I told the waitress and she thought I wanted a fortune cookie! I then pointed to the piece of paper in there then she realized what I was saying. She dumped out the water and gave me the same cup. Told the person at the register and all she said was "next time tell the waitress" yeah but uh isn't it your responsibility as it is your restaurant? I would not recommend on eating here. read more

I went in around 11:30 and the waitress came up to me coughing with a bad cold, so I asked to be seated in the front section, she acted rude handed me the fork and knife in a napkin,(which by the way she coughed in) then she turned and walked away. I had to seat myself and get my own fork and knife.Another waitress came over to get my drink order about 15 min. later, and she wasn't to pleasant either. The food was not real hot and we got sick from the sushi rolls. The price was way to much for a lunch, NEVER WILL GO THERE AGAIN! read more

The food was wonderful except for some dried out dumplings. I can also say the service is horrible. The hostess was talking on the phone and ignored us and walked away. The place was almost empty and it took about 5 minutes to get seated. Wait staff took 30 minutes to offer a refill. If you can handle poor service I still recommend the place because the food is great! read more

This place is great, good price and all you can eat. they have Mongolian and Sushi as well as a huge selection of buffet items. Some very tasty items I do not see at other buffets as well. Staff is always fast and friendly. read more

As soon as you enter the restaurant, right away you notice the owners and employees sitting at one of the tables. Anyways, we were greeted with a not-so-nice "how old are the kids" being their mother I started to state their ages (I have four children) and the waitress rudely interrupted me and proceeded to ask my children their ages, as if I was lying! Then, she sat us at our table and once we were settled we proceeded to the buffet where we noticed lots of trays empty. We were not able to eat alot of the foods since they were not refilled in a timely manner. Also alot of the trays were filled with dried out foods. Their desserts are not any better. Tasteless, bland and dry, and their ice cream machine seems like the ice cream is watered down and not creamy. As we were eating our meals a male waiter would come and keep saying "you done, thank you". Finally after 4 times I responded, we are not done yet thank you. When I was taking my children to the dessert bar, I came back to find they hadmbegun cleaning away our stuff and took our drinks away. AWFUL!!! read more
