He never came back to see if we needed refills or even to clean the table next to us, where the people across the isle were staking their plates up because I don't think he was doing that area either. Great all you can eat Asian food for a good price. Bathrooms are clean, and the staff was friendly and polite. If you want the best experience go on the weekend though, because some of the seafood is only available then. read more

The Asian grill and buffet is much better than most of the Chinese buffets that you experience. Their choices were fresh and well prepared. The restaurant is large, comfortable, and spotless, and the people are warm and friendly. While we were there, we watched as a number of what appeared to regular customers come in, and each of them was greeted personally by the staff. The restaurant offers what felt like endless options, starting at salad and going all the way through dessert as well as a nice assortment of sushi included with the buffet. Helpful hint - the homemade cheesecake is the perfect ending to the meal. When we're back in the area, we will definitely be back. read more

Today my Mom, Fiancé, and Myself decided to take a nice trip to Pikeville to eat at Asia Buffet. Mind you my Fiancé has a registered service dog. We went to the restaurant at about 12:15pm before the Church crowd let out so we did bother anyone. We paid and asked to be seated away from everyone (the 3 families that were in there at the time) so we still wouldn't bother anyone's meal. The lady I asked turned around to the man who was at the registar with a complete attitude change and said "They have a Service dog" in the most rudest tone I have ever heard in my life. My Fiancé just now came in after letting her potty. The man asked us where "this" dog was and I pointed to her and he asked "Well is she tagged" to my mother responding yes she has her vest and tags on. Then he turns around and asks for her paperwork (Which is ILLEGAL to ask for in the state of Kentucky!) We show him the paperwork AND the Email to which he stands and reads it for a solid 3 minutes. To which I finally just say if it's a problem we can go somewhere else can we have a refund, it took me asking and my mother asking more than 8 times for him to smart off and say "I need the card to prove this is a real service dog" (Again ILLEGAL to ask for proof/ paperwork in the state of Kentucky). My Fiancé and I left at this point because he was upset at the entire situation that just happened. My mother finally came out to which she said he told her that if his service dog was real he would show his card- yet we showed all of our paperwork even though we didn't have to. My mother finally told him that what he was doing was Illegal because not only did he ask for paperwork, he refused service to us because we did have a service dog. We will NEVER be back to this location because not only is this how they treat people with a service animal this is how they treat Veterans with a service dog! read more

Asian grill and buffet is the place to go for Chinese in Pikeville. Besides an excellent choice of the regular items, it also has a tasty selection of sushi and a hibachi bar. It's a little pricey at $14 for an adult on a Friday night, but the food quality and authentic flavors are worth every penny. The weekend nights also include sea food items, but no crab legs. As a loyal customer of this establishment, I am highly disappointed in my experience here today. My father politely asked the cook in the hibachi line to add some steak to his meal as there was none on the bar. The cook responded that "He'd go see if he got a chance" in a very rude manner. My dad let this go and then when he went back to get his food, the vegetables were made however, the cook had not given him any steak and was again rude in saying he didn't have any. Everyone in the restaurant knew that they had steak all day today as it is Sunday and my father did not get to eat his meal due to a this rude cook. The cook then comes over and offers to make him a New York Strip when originally he told him he didn't have any although he made two for the man before my father. The ice cream machine was also broken and the sushi was dry. Every experience had been a good one before this but now I'm not sure I will be returning to this establishment due to their lack of customer service and the rude cook who ruined my fathers meal. read more

Giving even a one star review is being generous. The food was awful and almost not fit for people to eat. Some examples include fried potatoes that they served being uncooked, and rice that actually had a crunch. The General Tao's chicken was bland and lacked any flavor or seasoning. If a Asian food location can't even make rice they ought to really just lock the doors. This place charged $11.99 plus $1.99 for beverage on a Sunday for food that was garbage. read more
