Went last night for the first time. The dining room was empty, but it was only 5:30. The dining room was So clean. The white floors would've been easy to see excessive dirt. The decor was minimal but relative, beautiful kimonos hung on the walls. I had the small roasted pork lo mein, crab Rangoon, and shrimp eggrolls. They included a generous dish of plum sauce. (Yummm) I had my order within 10 minutes and was on my way! Overall, I was happy with the meal and the price was about average. I will be back to try some other items. read more

Ordered large sesame chicken, white meat general chicken, house lo main, fried, and white rice. Verdict.... won't be back. The sesame chicken was good. My kids liked it, I tried it and it was good. White meat general was not edible. Chicken was in 25% of pieces and when you did get one it was so over cooked. The chicken was stringy and super tough to the point you had to just swallow because it was a hard dry lump in you're mouth. So paid $2 up charge for food to be not edible. Not spicy either, taste exactly like sesame chicken. The lo main was good. It had more chicken in it then the $14 general chicken. The fried rice was gross way way too much soy sauce. Good flavor of General Tso would recommend the white meat version as it just taste better. Our first takeout order they forgot one of our meals. We called once we got home and they made the missing meal to replace it. They offered to deliver it even though we picked up. Recommend checking your bag when taking out. Lumpia was OK but nothing special... this of course depends on what lumpia you have been exposed to before and if it meets with your past experience. The Miso was good and had flavor. We went with the all white Gen Tso's chicken and it was pretty dang good. So was the rice. Definitely will head back. However, if you go and ask for sauce, check your bag despite their assurances it's in there because if it's like ours, it won't be. Also, what's up with the crab rangoon? I've never had it where it tasted salty. Previous reviewers noted its non crispness and they're right. And it was awful. I'll never order it again. I was amazed at just how bad it was. The restaurant is small place, clean and have nice modern decor. Usually there's only 1 waitress working but since this place is small I never saw it as a problem for the waitress. They are always nice. The food here is a hit and miss. Sometimes good and sometimes so-so. There's a choice of Chinese and Japanese entrees. Best Asian food in the area. We usually drive all the way to Ghent for our Asian food and finally got tired of it. We've tried countless Asian places in the area and so far this place has the best taste. So much so that we had the left overs for lunch the next day. We ordered to go, my husband went and picked it up so I can't say much for the inside establishment or their service. I will say their fried rice had barely any flavor even though it had a good amount of different ingredients. Their spare ribs are as close to Boston Chinese fast food style spare ribs that we have found around here. Their noodles were excellent and I wish I knew what oil came with them because it was wonderful! The prices are not too high or low, perfect for the quality of food we had but still low enough that it doesn't hurt the pocked for a family of 4. We'll be coming back for sure. read more

I have heard good things about this place now for about a year. So one night, I told my kids we were going to check it out. It is small and dark inside. Clean. It wasn't very busy... no more then 9 customers/3 tables at the same time. (we were there 4:30-6pm) at one point, it was just us 3. There was only one woman addressing needs from the people dining and she also played hostess. She did not bring our food out at the same time, which is a pet peeve of mine. She brought my food out, then my sons, 5 mins later and my daughters several minutes after that. My son spilled his water, I used our napkins to clean it up, and put them at the end of the table, thinking she would pick it up to keep the clutter/mess to a minimum, but she didn't. Those wet napkins and place mat stayed there until we left. She didn't offer more napkins eithers, I had to ask for them. I also had to ask for refills. She wasn't very attentive and as I wrote above, it was not busy. So the customer service should be addressed. The food was okay. Nothing over the top wonderful. The one thing I did like is their egg rolls. They weren't greasy like some other places. They are getting a solid 3 stars. Just an average Asian restaurant as far as food goes. They do have take out. I did see someone come pick up an order while we were there. If we decide to try them again, we will probably do take out since the customer service wasn't all that great. read more

I've had this dish at dozens of restaurants, the flavor was great, but the meat quality was horrible! I brought this up to our waitress who informed me that I should have orders the meal with white meat for an extra $1.00. She then asked if I wanted to order it that way. She wasn't offering to replace my bad dish, I had to buy a new one, "becasue I already ate some of it." To my surprise, they were unwilling to replace the bad food! It apparently is not their policy.
