I've been to this location many times while on vacation; visiting my family during the holidays. I've heard nothing but good things and based on the dishes that I've tried, I'd say that those things are true. The first time I went, I ordered the Pansit and it was really good. During my most recent visit I ordered the Sesame Chicken combo and it was on point! I also sampled the honey chicken that my mother ordered and it was tasty as well. The food is good. And the portion sizes are generous. Only giving it 4 stars because I really wanted Pot Stickers but that isn't a part of the menu there. read more

Good Chinese food! Yes some say that "Chinese food is Chinese food." But this spot!!!! The food is really good, prepared fresh and you can tell the difference. For example, their General Tso's chicken is almost perfect! Other places it's too sweet, thick, over cooked, etc. But here, just right! I'm not a fan of chicken and broccoli...but now I am! That's my fiancé's fav!! Here it's made just right...but you'll have to ask for extra chicken. Shrimp rolls - good but needs more shrimp. You get two. Garlic wings - YUM!!! I will be ordering again! This is a great little place in a bit of a dicey neighborhood. I was in the area for work and decided to treat myself to a Chinese lunch. It's your typical Chinese place - does most of it's business by takeaway, but I dined in. The food and menu were also typical of most Chinese takeaway places too. The place seemed clean and the tables and chairs were all wiped down and clean, which was refreshing. The food was good (not necessarily great), typical again. My order came out quickly. What really impressed me was the low prices. My pint order of pepper steak seemed very large. Almost too much for lunch. All for $6.50! I called in to place an order for a shrimp fried rice and sweat and sour shrimp. I place this order with them sense I was visiting my father approximately 4mins away from their business location. They put me on whole which was not an issue sense I was nearly 20mins away. While driving there I could hear them taking other phone orders and asking for customers phone numbers to identify them. They still hadn't gotten back to me once I arrived. I went in to place my order at the counter but made them aware they left me on hold. The gentleman taking orders said they stopped taking phones orders and hour ago. I literally showed him my phone so he could see and HEAR I was on the line as we SPOKE! One thing to be on hold for 20mins but another to be lied to. They charge an extra fee to use credit card. The fee for my order was .66 cents. I asked them to waive it for being left on hold. They refused. Normally I would have left however it was getting late. After placing the order and walking back to my car I ran into a co-worker. Ironically they were coming to pickup their phone order placed about 20mins AGO! Final STRAW. After going in with my coworker they then say they only took one phone order. After finally getting our order my wife and I go to my father's house. The shrimp with the sweet and sour shrimp was hard as a rock and there was a dark strand of hair in the white rice! We called up to have the whole order replaced and they tell us they could not replace the order. Needless to say we will not be patronizing this establishment anymore. Decided to try this place because the reviews are pretty good, but honestly it was just like every other Chinese joint around Chesapeake. Same menu, same rushed and mediocre service and food that is just alright. I will say their prices are pretty good. Or family had shrimp fried rice (pretty good but basic), beef broccoli (meh), sesame chicken (probably the best of what we tried), and sweet and sour chicken (blah). Egg rolls were crispy but mostly wrapper and not much filling, and the cream cheese wontons were hard and chewy. Oh lord, the egg drop wonton soup was terrible. Gloppy thick, and the wontons were filled with what was supposed to be pork but tasted like cat food. Stay away from the soup. Overall we won't be back. Sad because the hunt for a decent fast Chinese place continues. read more
