Just picked up my order for Cashew Chicken- It consisted mostly of celery and very little of anything else including cashews. I am seasonal and hope they were having a bad night but this was my go to restaurant before tonight. I will give them another try but that's it. read more

Had take-out twice from Asian House, Vero Beach, Fl. Even though the food was good, both times I did not receive any sauce for the egg rolls and spring rolls. The second time I was missing an item out of my order, I call three times and was told someone would call me back - which never happened. Wow, where do I start? if you're going here and you're not religious, pick a God and pray. You're gonna need all the help you can get to not get food poisoning or inedible food. First off, why make soup if it's inedible? Won ton egg drop "soup" looked like something that comes out of your throat when your sick. My 90 year old grandmother compared it to mucus. Soup is being generous. this was a thick, gelatinous substance that had me looking up if it was safe to eat on Reddit. News flash--it wasn't. Couldn't even eat a bite. Then, we also got vegetable chow mein. This meal would be great if you are allergic to chow mein and a have COVID and lost your taste. Not a noodle in sight, and veggies were also gelatinous? I usually order from this place and I work in the hospital. I drove over there since it said on the website they do contactless payment like Apple Pay and when I arrived, the lady was very rude. I had to drive back to grab my coworkers debit card and in front of everybody she placed the card and pulled it out quickly. Not giving it time to sync the payment and automatically yelled the card decline. The food is usually really good here, but unfortunately, this time it wasn't. We ordered $50 worth of food, got a little bit of everything and it was literally inedible, extremely chewy,rubbery meat, very bland, and stall fried rice, super thick and oily egg drop soup. This little place has delicious food! We order takeout from here weekly and it is always very good! The portions are generous and the staff are always so nice. I like using the website to order and you can pick the time you would like to pick up your order...it is so convenient. We love asian food and this is as good as some we have had at expensive restaurants. Wish I had listened to one of the previous reviewers (Bruce). I spent $25 bucks ordering online. The total included a tip (for takeout). However when i got there I paid by CC and the woman said no tip was included. So net bottom line was they got tipped twice. No biggie my fault. The problem was the food. I ordered the sesame chicken with broccoli. The chicken was way overcooked and there were a total of 5 small pieces of broccoli at the bottom of the dish. The cold sesame noodles were just "ok" and the traditional peanut sauce was lackluster at best. Yes sure enough just as Bruce reviewed the kid was doing his homework at the table and there were mounds of items stored in the front of the restaurant. This is no hidden "gem"... it's right next to Publix. Matter of fact your probably better off buying a frozen PF Chang Chinese dinner at Publix which is right next door. Sorry but clean up the store interior, put a table in the back for your kids to do their homework and the chef should pay more attention to the meals he is preparing. read more

Now...this may not be Chinese food from a big city Chinatown...but it has some good dishes to enjoy. Try the crab Rangoon. Has bits of onions and a bit of garlic...with a slight sweet finish. And the place is reasonably priced and good portions for your dollar. read more

This is my first time eating here and so far it's the best Chinese food I've had in central FL. I ordered shrimp egg foo young with brown rice. It was fresh and not greasy. The gravy was flavorful not like the brown goop I've had at other places. The lunch special was just under 7 bucks and you get a canned drink. The portion size is big enough for 2 meals. Ordered in advance online but still had to wait 20 minutes to get food due to lineup at cashier. This place is obviously short staffed. Ordered spring rolls, Mongolian Beef & Moo Shu Veg. Spring rolls were obviously made from frozen with close to no vegetable filling. Received beef with mixed vegetables instead of Mongolian beef, do they think we don't know the difference??? Moo Shu Veg had strong burnt flavour. On the plus side the prices are affordable and the portions are large. Cannot recommend and will not return. read more

Made an online order. Inept and disorganized at pickup. When we got home we found they had neglected to include the gravy with the egg foo yung. Moo shu pork was burned. The food here is your regular Chinese American take-out food. Good to satisfy your craving. I usually place my order over the phone and it is ready by the time I arrive. While the location might be convenient for some ( like me )--- It is DEFINITELY worth your time and gas money to drive to a better place like Bamboo Court, Number One Wok, or even just your local Publix frozen food section if you add some xtra 5 spice chilies yourself and some of your own spices and better vegetables! We bought some takeout last night (shrimp fried rice, 3 egg rolls and crab Rangoon). The entire fare was lamentable and hardly worth the price - which is among the highest in Indian River County. The rice was tasteless, the shrimp was chewy, the egg rolls were overdone and the crab Rangoon should have been called "Rangoon" - little crab for the price. All in all, the best we can say is that we didn't eat in. The art work on the walls is scary! I asked the name of the "artist" and she handed me a card - last name Cruz. Last night, my boyfriend brought Bourbon Chicken home. It was amazing. There are so many fresh veggies. The one thing I enjoy is that there aren't any water chestnuts that I have to eat around. Overall, it was very juicy and light. I enjoyed it very much. Although there is a lot of Asian eatery in Vero, this is the one that shows true passion for a delightful meal. Went in for chicken noodle soup. Person was at table eating and got up to make soup without washing hands. Picked up noodles and chicken with hands. When I questioned them one rolled her eyes at me and the one who made it said no wash hands because it goes in hot water for a second. This was excellent when first open; now I wouldn't recommend. Ate there Yesterday and it was terrible. The sauce on the food was thick and gummy. When I spoke to the cashier/manager he said that's the way it is. We didn't eat it and no offer of apology or, can we prepare something else.
