Solid stop for sushi and Thai in Sebastian! We came in this evening looking for our sushi fix and left mostly satisfied. Service was prompt and the food was excellent overall. We ordered the Pad See Ew and three rolls. The Kami Kaze, Blue Monster, and Yellowtail Jalapeño. All three rolls were delicious and well-executed. One small gripe: our server recommended the Yellowtail Jalapeño as a spicy option when I specifically asked for heat, but it had absolutely zero kick. My kids ate it without blinking and if they don't notice spice, it's not spicy. The other moment that was somewhat odd was mid-dinner when we were asked to relocate from our table to a booth so the restaurant could seat a larger party. We were happy to oblige, but it's a bit of an awkward ask when you're already settled in with your food. A comp'd dessert, roll, or even a Sapporo would have gone a long way in smoothing that over. None of it was a dealbreaker and the food genuinely delivered. Just a couple of small things to iron out on the hospitality side. I stopped in this past week. I ordered cashew nut stir fry with fried tofu. It's a dish I had here in the past and liked it. The tofu was tough and had no flavor. The rest of the dish lacked the quality it had in the past. My salad had big chucks of lettuce and a large glob of ginger dressing on dumped on top. I ordered the spicy lobster roll, it was packed with flavor and the lobster was tender. My wife had a chicken vegetable medley. She said the veggies were so fresh and tasty. This is a legit place. I got a ton of food for me and my daughter and friend and it was all good. Freshly prepared and delicious. With the entrees you get a choice of soup or salad. What a GEM in Sebastian, FL- hidden in the Publix shopping center. Having been quality sushi deprived from living in SW FL, we ate our way through the menu and everything was delicious! I am always a skeptic when a Thai and sushi place are a combo effort, we tried some of each and I wish we had something similar here. Thursday evening - 30 minute wait at 7pm- plus busy take out business. Once seated, service was gracious and prompt. There is a sushi bar option too. Tables seemed to be socially distanced so their capacity is probably lower. The popcorn fish salad was HUGE- lots of pieces of assorted fish, seaweed salad, and greens. We polished that off in addition to the generous Crazy roll. ( in photo) Cucumber may be substituted for rice too. The yellow tail jalepeno was so fresh- it melted in my mouth. Hubby devoured the lava chicken. Next time, the whole fried snapper in garlic sauce will be on my list too. If I lived in this area, I'd be a regular here. In the 2 weeks we were in Vero Beach, we ate here 5 or 6 times. The sushi and Thai dishes are exceptional, and prices are surprisingly low. Favorites: the Seared Tuna Salad, Crispy Duck and the Duck Noodle Soup. All the sushi and sashimi were very fresh, with large cuts of very fresh fish. The only disappointment was the Papaya Salad. It was very small and pretty tasteless. I wouldn't order that again. But that's OK, as there's so much else to try. Our favorite salad was the Seared Tuna Salad, which is easily shared as it's quite large. It has a generous portion of seared tuna on it, with Seaweed Salad underneath and a delicious wasabi dressing. Don't walk, run to this place. You'll be glad you did. read more

Wasabi Thai Sushi might have the best Thai Food that I have had in FL in the last six months. I went w/ the Massaman Curry- Thai original Massaman curry paste, coconut milks, onions, sweet potato, & whole peanuts w/ a side of brown rice. It came w/ a veg miso soup w/ tofu & seaweed. I had it w/ tofu w/ the aforementioned accompanying veggies. Everything hit the spot. It was quite alright. The curry was a touch on the sweet side. Didn't find it that spicy at all yet that is okay as these August Dog Days of Floridan Summer require Pitta to be pacified henceforth good not to eat too much spicy food as fire on fire is like on like. Dissapointed in the sushi, it wasn't terrible by any means but all 3 of my rolls did not taste fresh. i appreciated that they served it with a lot of gjnger, that was nice. But was expecting more given this is the top rated sushi place in the area. Also I had to wait 1.5 hours for my takeout order. Wow.... just wow, stumbled upon this place on my way to earls hideaway to go watch TMI Twisted minds inc an amazing band. We started out with the gyoza(steamed chicken dumplings) and cucumber salad.
