I ordered chicken and shrimp pho. They did not have chilli flake hot sauce. But brought me many others to try. Service was only one very friendly girl who was running around like cray. I'd prefer better service. Price very reasonable. Food great! The iced tea, not so good. Not sure if aid go back for Vietnamese. Maybe try the Thai or sushi next time. read more

I went here once and haven't went back. The tables were sticky and the place smelled kind of gross. I got the fried calamari here and it was probably the worst i've ever had. The breading was really bad and the octopus was extremely rubbery. They might need to consider changing their name to Notsushilicious. I LOVE the family-run vibe and relaxed Mood. We had salmon sashimi - perfectly yummy! The pork gyoza was spot on. Fresh and tasty! My moms enjoyed the squid salad (they customized to suit her low-sodium diet) and the wine was tasty and just right for a house wine at a casual place. Service was lovely. Grave disappointment. I came here when this place first opened. The service was phenomenal! The server actually had the kitchen prepare something super spicy that wasn't even on the menu. Today I came with my family and it was so bad that we didn't even eat the food on our plates. The pork egg rolls were actually cream cheese egg rolls. The accompaniments to my pho were soggy and stale. When I squeezed the lime over my pho, it was so dry and old that no juice even came out. The bean sprouts were so old they were practically sprouting sprouts. My son's Korean barbecue was basically flank steak over yellow rice (it looked like Spanish rice). The Sriracha was watered down and inedible. I will never, repeat NEVER, come back here. This was a waste of money. Now I still have have to go home and cook because I'm starving. read more

I have eaten sushi and Thai in almost every town/country I've visited. Sushilicious is by far one of the best. My husband and I were a little skeptical about this Thai/sushi fusion restaurant in a dim lit, half empty strip mall but we were blown away from the first visit. The pad thai is the best I've ever had anywhere. Hands down. So flavorful, just the right amount of spice and a HUGE portion. The Who dat is my go-to for sushi but tonight my husband ordered the baked salmon and I can now say it's the best sushi roll I've ever eaten. Seriously! The staff is super friendly. Melissa, is always our waitress when we come in and seems to be the only waitress at the restaurant. She is an absolute gem and makes the experience even better. The only down side to the restaurant is there is never ANYONE dining here. I honestly don't know why. The only thing I can think of it's a bad location and poor lighting in the strip mall. This sushi place is convenient to many locations I frequent: the beach, downtown BSL, and a beautiful coastal drive. However, I'll head east or west 15-20 miles for other sushi. This restaurant has been closed twice for violations - once for a bug in the food and then again in the fall of 2020 for multiple violations. Not knowing this, we stopped in to eat shortly after they reopened. There was no a/c. The waitress appeared to be in pajamas and kept going back to her booth, obviously not interested in tending to the many boxes and unkept look of the place. Drinks didn't get refilled. We waited on flatware. It was an all around below average experience. Months later, we tried Thai teas to go. I don't know what they put in it (old condensed milk maybe?), but it was grainy. I didn't drink it. I'm giving it 2 stars because the sushi is freshly made and has a good taste. They carry Ramune, my daughter's favorite soda w/ the marble. Unfortunately, the convenience isn't worthy stopping in for subpar service and an uncomfortable environment. read more

Good sushi. The Vietnamese style fresh roll was very good, but the peanut sauce was served warm . And, the sauce was too sweet for my liking. Other than that, it was very good. The snowcrab and crawfish rolls were good, but I feel they would be better is they were mixed with a little more spicy mayo. Luckily, they will readily give you a side of spicy mayo. Our experience at Sushilicious was amazing . The staff is super friendly and the chef is awesome! The place was clean and the menu was ideal. You can have Thai or Japanese sushi. We started with a delicious appetizer with salmon and cucumber it was fresh and tangy. We ordered the Tom yum which was plentiful to share and had the best balance of spiciness. After we had Pad Thai (all enough to share) and the noodles were delicious. Our waitress suggested the Crazy Pam roll so we ordered it. Btw she was Pam lol and it had the right amount of crab and Eel sauce . If that wasn't enough we had a dessert with Mango and rice. Yummm. We asked for two boxes because we had enough and were stuffed. The chef Soupha also takes individual orders for sushi rolls so you may have your own specialty roll created. We had an absolutely wonderful meal last night. Started with a "fresh roll" which was big enough for 2 (or 4) and served with a great peanut sauce. We had four entrees: pad si ew (a noodle dish), "chili paste" fried rice, a red curry and "thai stir fry." All were delicious, but the chili paste fried rice was really special--didn't seem particularly spicy, but had a wonderful smoky flavor to it. I'd never had a rice dish that had a little smokiness but I loved it. I found a menu somewhere on the Internet for the restaurant but it was very limited. The actual menu at the restaurant was extensive, and Susan (the owner) said "we'll make any Thai dish you want." Generous portions, reasonable prices. We discovered we had unused credit through Restaurant.com. We decided to burn $25 in our credit while on our annual gulf coast vacation and was delighted to see one of our favorite types of food would be available in our intended area of stay. Upon checking with Sushilicious & Thai the week before our trip, they confirmed they accept the coupons. There was some apprehension ahead of our visit as the online menus on the various sources, including social media, did not instill us with great confidence. Upon arrival for our "reservation" we found an empty room with 3 staff at 6pm. The person who seemed most in charge kept chuckling that we made a reservation for such a slow time and I was really beginning to worry that there was cause for this. The young lady that was our server got us our drinks, giant Sapparos, and took our appetizer orders. We'd never had anything but standard veggie spring rolls so we splurged for the pork spring rolls and were very delighted at them. But the real test was the calamari. If it is on a menu, we order it, and we did that here. It was brought out covered in a sauce, as well as other veggie toppings like peppers and onions. It was amazing. Very nice touches all around on the appetizers. Next we received our salads and soups ahead of our entrees. The ginger dressing for the house salad is exactly what I've come to expect when getting a house salad at a Japanese restaurant. The Miso Soup had the expected flavor, but my seaweed was one giant piece and the bits of tofu that you expect were sparse. It was still very delicious and it warmed my soul to have it in such a welcoming environment. Out came our entree course. Wife had the Korean BBQ beef with a California roll on the side. I sampled both and the beef was super tender and the Cali Roll was easily a top 3 version of that one in my near 20 years of eating sushi. I had the makimoto special that assured me three rolls. The Spicy Crawfish roll should be retitled "flavorful Crawfish Roll." It was very flavorful, all good things merged into this delicacy, but it was not "spicy" in the sense that I'd expect from a place housing Japanese and Thai, and on the gulf coast 90 minutes from New Orleans were spicy is a food group. All three of those cuisine cultures have a good track record on "spicy." To the chef's credit - he still made a tasty treat. There are culinary artists that would sacrifice flavor for heat, so I tip my hat. My 2nd roll was the BBQ Eel roll. I have a bad history with eel rolls at other places but I wanted to give it another shot. I now know that the other guys were doing something wrong and Sushilicious & Thai has the eel thing down right. I was surprised at how much I liked it. Finally I had the salmon roll, the generic one, not the one with cream cheese. Salmon is possibly my favorite fish, and I have had a high bar set in the past with salmon in both Japanese and other cuisines. They nailed it for this one. I loved it, the fish was perfect tenderness and the rest of the roll set the flavor off nicely. Thank you to the chef, server, and hostess for making us welcome on a slow night. I hope my review can generate some foot traffic for you. Everything tasted great and the service was wonderful. We will be back to see you next year and will try to fit in a quick trip back before then just to dine with you. read more

I have visited here 3 times and ordered different things each time and have yet to find anything they do well. My spouse had the Calamari and said it was good but everything I have had left a lot to be desired. The drunken noodles were maybe tipsy with all the veggie cooked to mush and the noodles under cooked. The steak and shrimp hibachi well let me just say the steak was tender and leave it at that. Tried Sushilicious today 6/13/17. Although they have just opened there were some problems as expected. Food was underwhelming (4 out of 10) and there were several order/delivery mistakes made. Went out tonight and tried multiple items. Hurricane roll (not deep fried, by request), shrimp tempura, Pad Thai and crispy spring rolls (pork). The hurricane rolls were decent and the spring rolls were good. Everything went downhill with the Pad Thai. The noodles tasted like wet dog fur. The chicken was quite good, and the the shrimp tempura... who batters and deep fries carrots and broccoli? That was the first time I've seen that. This is a hidden jewel in Bay St Louis/Waveland. The food is great and the service is even better.

Let me start with the food was excellent. My first impression not as great . . . we were allowed to seat ourselves as we were the only ones in the restaurant and then brought a menu that looked like homework I turned in when I was in the second grade (or maybe like the homework I didn't turn in because the dog really did eat it), the waitress was apologetic. The state of the menu was in juxtaposition to the restaurant which was clean and provided a really nice dining atmosphere. Our meal was brought out as it was ready . . . which meant that my wife's entree arrived about two minutes before mine did. They brought us a couple of Lobster roll bites and even though my wife doesn't eat sushi she LOVED it. I thought it was pretty great too. The stir fry dishes that we ate were spot on. The service was prompt and friendly and down to earth. Bottom line if you're looking for a totally unpretentious place to eat some really good food, this is the spot. Hopefully they'll visit the printers soon to get some fresh menus. read more
