I was pleasantly surprised to even stumble on this store when my husband and I came to the Westgate to check out the Elvis memorabilia. They had a good selection across multiple generations of consoles, and everything I checked out was in really nice condition. All the discs I saw looked super clean too. Prices seemed very fair for all the stuff I was looking at so no complaints there. Overall, a very clean store in a nice outdoor outlet area.

They have games for every gaming system you have either owned or dreamed of owning as a child. The store is clean, organized and items for sale appear to be in good used condition. Grand Line games sells, buys and trade all types of video games and systems. I could list them... but you should just go and check it out yourself. Lastly Grand Line Games also has about a dozen pinball machines for you to play. All machines are in good working order with both newer and vintage games. Chad has done great work for me in the past, but unfortunately, today he informed me not to ever come into his store again. The reason being is that he charged me for an N64 mod that not only wasn't functioning, but he had broken as well. After finding someone that could perform the mod properly, I had to go back to Grand Line in order to ask for my money back. Chad had a pretty hard time admitting fault, due to his solder being what he called "perfect". Chad was also unclear how to properly connect the ribbon cable, so he decided to give it the best hot glue job that someone who wasn't willing to do more research than he deemed necessary to attempt to keep the ribbon in place. Chad had originally agreed to meet me half way with the repair. However, all I wanted was the original $100 that I gave him to do the mod. Which I asked for. He told me that wasn't going to happen, to which I replied that it's actually less than what he had originally agreed to pay. After that, I told him how much the repair was. His response was that I was being ripped off. He then also tried to place fault on me for giving him a broken system to mod. Which is double baffling. If the system had any issues, I would be more than willing to pay him to repair them. Furthermore, If anyone would know that there was something wrong with the system it should have been him. After I firmly stood my ground, he handed me $100 out of his wallet and told me to never come back. Which is a shame, Chad keeps a great stock of items that you normally don't see at other stores in town. And while I normally go to Ben Fong, from iFixRetro, for mods of this nature, after dealing with a very similar situation with a Sega Dreamcast that was given to "A Gamers Paradise" a few years back. I decided to go to Chad because he's local and has until this point been pleasant to chat with while also normally meeting deadlines for other projects I've brought to him. Thankfully I found someone that iFixRetro taught the craft to in @samtron5000 over ig. Not only did she finish the mod, but she also fixed what Chad broke while botching the install in the first place. If you're local and have anything that you're looking to get done hit her up over ig, if it's in her wheel house she'll get it done. For everyone else that's looking for a place to go hit up Ben Fong with @iFixRetro. He's saved me more than once for sure. Also, if you're looking for a good spot to hit in town that provides great customer service, check out Retro City Games. They have two locations in Vegas and treat customers very well. Came in here about a week ago to grab a gift for my brother and sister in law. It was definitely…read morecrazy in there. It's the standard size of ant Game Stop but for some reason smelled a little funky that day haha. I can't recall the guys name that helped us but he was helping a couple in front of us for a while. We were just waiting to ask a question and see if the game we were looking for was there. Once he was done helping the couple in front of us, he apologized a million times and helped us, which was so nice and not totally necessary! We were fine just waiting for him to wrap up with them. He helped us find the game very easily and mentioned there was only the display game left, which wasn't a big deal to us. The only weird thing was that he did try to sell us on the insurance for the game but the game was honestly only $30 to begin with and the insurance was $15. It was kinda silly. We joked that it was for my husbands siblings and if they break it or anything, that's not our problem. I didn't even know they offered insurance in video games. Learn something new every day. Definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for a video games. The staff is super kind, helpful and patient. It's also pretty close to our house so I'm sure we will be back as my husband does love his video games, too.

I've driven past this store many times and honestly I was never quite sure if it was still open…read more Many of the other units around it are vacant and it's hard to notice unless you go by often. Well I stopped in real quick the other day because I saw an open sign and it is a cozy little store. The aisles are narrow and the books stacked high. I was looking for a certain book which they did not have unfortunately, but as I was leaving I noticed a section of an author I used to read alot so I picked up one. The price was half the original price, though I'm not sure if all books are priced this way. Many of the books are able to be exchanged for a book you bring in for them and like 1$. Cool idea. I will stop by again.
