Don't even bother going (unless you're Korean and can speak the language. Yeah, all 20 or so of you in Vegas.) As soon as I entered the door, the employee started talking to me IN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE. Not appropriate in America. Period. You opened your store in America, now speak English. They started asking me why I was there. (Apply sarcasm here.) Gee, I don't know. MAYBE TO LOOK FOR MOVIES!? Apparently these people have never heard of the concept of "browsing." They started giving me nonsense about how their movies were all in foreign languages. No shit, Sherlock. I told them this was fine - I love foreign cinema. Even this was clearly a lie to try to get me out of the store, since a Star Wars DVD (an AMERICAN, English-language film!) was on the shelf! Then they went off and started saying how I couldn't shop there because I wasn't Korean. You have got to be kidding. I've been to a lot of establishments in Vegas selling a variety of product - the good, the bad, and the ugly alike. And this place gets my WORST SCORE EVER. I've been insulted my shop owners before (for no good reason) but NEVER discriminated against like this. Long story short, don't give these people your business. The prices are affordable with most costing around $10 for shorter series to $50 for the longer ones. China King is quick to release DVDs of new shows as soon as they finish broadcasting. The English subtitles are Konglish at times. Certain phrases are directly translated leaving the viewer to question what they are trying to convey, but after a few it gets easier. Each comes with Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, and English subs. The audio comes in the first three languages. All DVDs are region free allowing them to be played on any player. Located in the Chinatown plaza next to the elevators and Mother's Korean BBQ. It is easy to miss, but look to the left of the elevators.
