I bought two games and took them home staff was super nice. i tried to play both games than found…read moreout one was not backwards compatible and the second didn't pop up at all, all though it is backwards compatible and was completely scratched. i decided to take them back and said the issues with them i was told she didn't have much knowledge on the xbox games which is totally fine but i expected there to be someone there that knew something in order to help. while waiting around to get my discs buffed i heard them telling another customer that they do not test the games in the shop and i believe they have a 30 day return policy. we came home and my backwards compatible game still does not work a single bit and i had to do plenty of research to find out what was wrong with my other game then came to find out the disc even has a crack in it. i had previously lived in oregon and each game shop out there always tested and cleaned up their games before selling them. i don't blame the kind staff whatsoever i think the owners/management should definitely require the games to be inspected before trading or buying and cleaned up before selling. the store would have more time to focus on making items ready to sell in good condition if they didn't have so many people coming in for defective items sold to them. as i am writing this we are trying to get another xbox game from this shop to work and it has now completely shut off my console and it wouldn't turn back on for awhile this has never happened with any of my other discs.

They have games for every gaming system you have either owned or dreamed of owning as a child. The store is clean, organized and items for sale appear to be in good used condition. Grand Line games sells, buys and trade all types of video games and systems. I could list them... but you should just go and check it out yourself. Lastly Grand Line Games also has about a dozen pinball machines for you to play. All machines are in good working order with both newer and vintage games. Chad has done great work for me in the past, but unfortunately, today he informed me not to ever come into his store again. The reason being is that he charged me for an N64 mod that not only wasn't functioning, but he had broken as well. After finding someone that could perform the mod properly, I had to go back to Grand Line in order to ask for my money back. Chad had a pretty hard time admitting fault, due to his solder being what he called "perfect". Chad was also unclear how to properly connect the ribbon cable, so he decided to give it the best hot glue job that someone who wasn't willing to do more research than he deemed necessary to attempt to keep the ribbon in place. Chad had originally agreed to meet me half way with the repair. However, all I wanted was the original $100 that I gave him to do the mod. Which I asked for. He told me that wasn't going to happen, to which I replied that it's actually less than what he had originally agreed to pay. After that, I told him how much the repair was. His response was that I was being ripped off. He then also tried to place fault on me for giving him a broken system to mod. Which is double baffling. If the system had any issues, I would be more than willing to pay him to repair them. Furthermore, If anyone would know that there was something wrong with the system it should have been him. After I firmly stood my ground, he handed me $100 out of his wallet and told me to never come back. Which is a shame, Chad keeps a great stock of items that you normally don't see at other stores in town. And while I normally go to Ben Fong, from iFixRetro, for mods of this nature, after dealing with a very similar situation with a Sega Dreamcast that was given to "A Gamers Paradise" a few years back. I decided to go to Chad because he's local and has until this point been pleasant to chat with while also normally meeting deadlines for other projects I've brought to him. Thankfully I found someone that iFixRetro taught the craft to in @samtron5000 over ig. Not only did she finish the mod, but she also fixed what Chad broke while botching the install in the first place. If you're local and have anything that you're looking to get done hit her up over ig, if it's in her wheel house she'll get it done. For everyone else that's looking for a place to go hit up Ben Fong with @iFixRetro. He's saved me more than once for sure. Also, if you're looking for a good spot to hit in town that provides great customer service, check out Retro City Games. They have two locations in Vegas and treat customers very well. The team member had recommended stopping by Comics & Stuff to look for vocaloid characters. We didn't realize it was at the other end of the mall from JCPenney. We were in awe as we walked into Comics & Stuff. There are so many options to choose from! There are plush characters from a variety of animes, anime figurines from Sailor Moon, Demon Slayer Kimetsu No Yaiba, MHA, and much more!! There are also comic books as well. My son was able to find a few collectible vocaloid characters, specifically, Kagamine Len. The team members at the front register were able to point us in the right direction on where the vocaloid collectibles were located inside the store. I ended up purchasing a Magic Knight Rayearth, Spirit of Fire build action figurine. It looked pretty cool, and it was there only one in stock!
