Visited this store today, 8/5/2026, around 2:15 PM, and the male customer service person was very rude. He did not greet me when I walked in and just stood there looking at me. I advised him of my issue and he stated he could not help me, in a patronizing way. I was stunned by the sheer bluntness. No help, no solutions, no direction to maybe get my issue fixed. After he just stood there with a blank expression, I decided against it. I was thinking it over, I was going to buy a Nintendo Switch that they had for sale, and maybe some Pokemon cards. I needed a new HDMI port replaced on my granddaughter's XBox Series S. Everywhere else wanted $120 to $160 flat rate to replace it. This great place was really less expensive and had it done in two days. Great customer service, and fantastically friendly. They made sure they showed us that the XBox was working before we left, and that everything was in tip top shape. After finding out that my game system wasn't working correctly I decided to see if it was possible to get it fixed. After reading the reviews and stopping by two different shops this place was my last hope, and whats the worst thing they are going to say no sorry can't help you. I only shopped here twice in the past and both times they are way overpriced. First I bought Dragon Warrior NES for $12. It's not worth $10 so there goes a few bucks. Second time was with Killer Instinct on SNES for $20. Both times were unpleasant considering the Owner (Brian). Is a legit narcissist and has no filter, instead of being a nice guy or help customers. He'd rather mock you or make weird jokes. I met a lot of guys like Brian and no we don't think you're cool. read more

One night in a drunken stupor I dropped one of my most prized possessions...my Wii U. Since then my game pad and my console were not connecting properly. I searched Reddit and YouTube for DIY corrections to no avail. If you are familiar with the console then you know that some games require the game pad to be able to be used more than 5 inches away from the console, which I was not permitted to do without being yelled at for their lack of communication. No Bowser in Mario Party, no Survivor in Zombii U, no Nintendo Land Zelda or Balloon Adventure! I was losing hope...falling deeper and deeper into a dark abyss of gaming despair until one night, while Adam and I were having celebratory sushi, I happened upon Game Repair. The idea was to go in and have my console fixed so I could play my favorite games. After all, life was bleak without my Mario Party 10. The way I felt walking into this store would be the same as when a child first sees Disneyland or when some women walk into a giant shoe store. I was overwhelmed with Nostalgia looking at the Atari, Sega Genesis, Nintendo Entertainment System, Super NES, Sega Dreamcast, N64, and multiple system compatible consoles...I wanted it all. So after it all I left with 2 new controller accessories, 5 new games, and my Wii U back to original perfection thanks to Brian. If you're a gamer come here for games and accessories first as the prices and service are great! If you're not a gamer come here to buy a console! I guarantee they will have something you enjoy. Cool place to look around for gamers and nerds but It took almost a month and having to take my console back 3 times before Ben said he couldn't fix my Xbox. I returned the 3rd time to get my money back from 30 day warranty and says he charges a $30 service fee for his time on the Xbox he couldn't fix so i got charged $30 for the same broken Xbox that took a month. When we took the PS4 you can tell they just did a factory reset we took it to a real repair shop where they opened it in-front of us and showed us the dust where u can see that it had never been opened. I have been a customer of Game Repair since they had their store on Nellis. I remember going in there when I could to see all the games and consoles I wish I had. I went in for repair of two Xbox controllers. One of them was a gift from my wife that she designed for me on Xbox's controller lab and it had drifting on the left analog stick. The other was a Xbox One controller which wouldnt allow the left analog stick to click down into the controller. When I got there Bryan and his wife diagnosed the issue with their equipment. I had seen they had custom controller face shells and colored sticks. I quickly got my repaired controllers back and they worked and felt better than before. The best experience was telling him how many memories I had of him fixing my Nintendo console back in the day around 1990 I was 10 then, I am now 42. I was a returning customer just browsing when another customer came in wanting to sell miscellaneous toys. I thought I overheard the customer wanting to unload a bunch of loose Pokemon cards and the lady(owner) working told her they weren't worth anything. Didn't seem like the place that would buy played, loose cards anyway. As the owner was walking to the back, I asked the customer if I heard correctly that she was trying to get rid of pokemon cards. Suddenly I hear "Sir! Sir!" and once I realized the owner was addressing me I took a step back and apologized out of instinct. It then occurred to me that my question might not have been kosher. Still, the owner began scolding me in front of the other customers and threatened to kick me out of the store. I kept apologizing for the mistake and after further admonishment she continued to the back. I kept browsing the games while fairly embarrassed by my actions. The other customer silently mouthed to me to meet her outside but I waved her off because I didn't want anymore trouble. When the owner came back out I apologized once again for my ignorance, hoping to repair relationship with the store, but then she proceeded to lecture me further about how I can't just walk into a business and do what I did. I get it, ignorance is not an excuse. But keep in mind I was immediately compliant and did not fight this at any time. She did not have to threaten to kick me out and talk to me like I was some shady drug dealer off the street preying on her customers and taking advantage of her business. She was extremely rude up until I decided to make a purchase and then suddenly she was polite and pleasant again. I understand she needs to protect her place of business, and she can serve however and whomever she wants. It was just extremely off-putting considering how disproportionally rude she was compared to my actual actions. That was the last time I'll be spending my money there. read more

Been here a couple times now for repairs. Both times I needed a disc resurfaced. The first time they successfully helped me with no issue and were super kind and helpful in the process. The second time they were nice enough to inform me my disc was beyond repair and rather than just resurfacing it they instead offered to see if they had another disc to sell me. They really went out of their way and we're able to locate one for me. This store also has extensive selections for almost every console you can think of and the staff is always super friendly and happy to answer any questions you can think of! read more

We've come here twice. The first time was for them to resurface a Wii game that we had, and they did it for $5. We just dropped it off, and they called us a few hours later to pick it up, it's worked perfectly since then. The second time we came in was to get another disk resurfaced. They were only charging $4 to resurface this time, but upon looking at the disk, they informed us that it was beyond resurfacing, and it wouldn't work, which we appreciated, because they could've just resurfaced it and charged us, and if it didn't work, that was on us. They were convinced they had another copy of the game we brought in for purchase, so the woman looked for a good few minutes. She gave up looking (checked all locations she thought it could be, and also had other customers), but the guy was certain he had a copy somewhere, so he continued looking through the back - for about 5 more minutes. In that time, we looked around. They have games for every console, and some for as cheap as $1.99, it seems like they price according to what it's going for now, which is great, because they're not trying to upcharge you. We found another game that we wanted to purchase, and at the same time, the guy found a copy of the game, and he resurfaced it, and only charged us $5 for the game. We'll probably come back when we have more time to browse the games and purchase more. read more

Place that repairs games..? yeah, i guess. More like a place where you can sell new and used games. A place where you can play a couple really old school arcade games. A shop that delivers when it comes to trying to find the old game consoles or the brand new ones too. Fantastic over the top service. I know nothing about games and he talked to me as if i was a genius. He explained everything and what the differences were. I could tell he was one of those geeky guys. Hell, better for me. I was there to buy my hubby the original game console. Shoot i already forgot what it was called. . but doesnt matter the guy new :) Everything is well maintained and looks brand new, whether it is or not. I was surprised about how small the shop is but in the end it really does have everything you need. Was goingt o buy the single player but he told me it was only a 5 dollar difference to upgrade to the twin so i did. It came to 50 bucks. Cheap! i had looked online and couldnt find it cheaper than 75 for a single. He also made sure to put the warranty in my husbands name so that if he came back it would be easier. The consoles warranty was for a year. I've been to many other game repair shops and always seemed like they were ghetto and unsuccessful at getting my hubby excited. When we passed this shop a couple months ago my husband was jumping for joy. This place is amazing and i cant wait to come back and buy some more "guy" game stuff from him. read more

The old man has no sense of how to communicate with his customers. As I was leaving they told me that they were going to call me about the discs that I dropped off with them. As I left I realized that I had a busy schedule during that day. "Approximately what time tomorrow?" He cut his wife off as she politely said, "probably early tomorrow." "We will call you at WHATEVER O'CLOCK, sir." He said it as if I added "I AM A REALLY IMPORTANT PERSON. GET IT DONE IMMEDIATELY." As I replayed the incident in my mind, I realized that his attitude was probably sparked when I didn't laugh at a horrible, insulting joke that he made earlier in the conversation. This guy is a hack. My Gamecube was not keeping time. His way of fixing it was by putting in a new circuit board. 2 days later I took it back. It still didn't keep time. He was real rude telling me that the motherboard must be fried. It cost me $30 to have him do an unnecessary repair. I did get it fixed. I bought a battery for $3.25 and installed it myself. When I told him this, he said good for you and then he went storming into his back room. I will never step foot into his store ever again. This is probably one of the few actual Las Vegas "mom and pop" video game store. I'm about to expose one of Las Vegas' best kept secret! The name of the store "Game Repair" does what it says: repairs! And if it's out of being repairable they'll be honest with you. Other than being a video game console repair shop, they sell new and used games. They have some older arcade cabinets inside if you have a spare quarter and want to play the old school games. Their arcades are maintained. The shop is clean and organized. The price on the games and other equipment goes for what they normally are in other commercial retail stores but I would rather support my local mom and pop store. And the best part, you know those midnight release games that you desperately want (you MIGHT be able to pick it up early here if you're nice). read more

The selection of retro games and consoles is impressive and they even are associated with a collectible card shop nearby. Great customer service and you can tell they are passionate about what they sell. Bought all original Xbox and a handful of Sega Genesis games a while back, everything worked great as expected. Pricing is solid and comparable to what you can find online for most items. They have a nice selection of third party controllers, including some personal favorite from 8bitdo. I did not get the chance to try any of their used controllers. Selection of games is nice, with a variety of retro game systems. The only thing I found lacking is that I didn't see very many rare games, such as Earthbound. I'll definitely make this a regular stop when I'm feeling nostalgic! read more

The owner is very rude and conceited. He says that he is 'best videogame repairman' on the planet. His wife however is very polite and was nice to me. I came in with an issue I have already had diagnosed. I explained the issue to him, which was a DSi needing a replacement screen. He ignored what I said, and continued to go on about how its the motherboard, even though it is not. I explained again, and he asks me 'how do you know that?' there has been many repairs for the same exact issue, and replacing the broken screen fixed the problem. Sarcastically, he says 'yeah people on the internet know way more than me', and sticks to his wrong diagnosis about it being the motherboard. Funny enough, I bought a replacement screen elsewhere and fixed it myself. read more

Great place very family oriented. I brought my PS4 there which mean the world to me since it's the last system my wife bought me before she passed away from Cancer. They got it back to me 3 days later and when I got home it still didn't work, they told me they tested it, and they did cause there was a game in my line up that wasn't mine, i did what they said a brought it back. They kept it another two days and found out not only was the gear that brings the disk out bad, they replaced that, but so was the actual driver. A more expensive part to replace but they replaced it at no extra charge. They where kind to my needs understanding and told me up front they would help and they did. You gotta a problem with your system bring it there and they got some used games you might have missed and some nice old style systems and some custom stuff. A definite gem in our area. read more

we took playstation 3 in for repair, wasn't showing movies. Owner said he would wipe it clean, repair lazer then called said it only needed to be cleaned. we pick up 2 weeks later and 1st time using it was exactly the same nothing fixed. uupon pick up he asked fo DL because he deals with so many dishonest people, seemed upset that i picked up for my honey. I paid 49$ my honey had to go back 3 more times because it still doesn't work. So promises made , they got paid and didn't fix our equipment, we will never return-very dishonest and too much bullshiting. I give a big F grade. wish i could stop paayment but they already got paid! He said he doesn't give refund on repairs, but our playstation was never repaired. Awesome experience! I went in with my OG Nintendo 64 that stopped working. This was a last resort, as I thought I was going to have to buy a new one for almost $200.
