Apparel is more classically styled so it never gets outdated. Most of the items seem to fall into 2 fit categories. "Roomy" which is slightly oversized and "Classic" which fits more naturally. However, I prefer the "Fashion" fit which isn't tight but more aligned with my natural curves. Aside from clothes, they have specially designed accessories and stuff for your furry friend. Staying true to its roots, philanthropy is always is full swing. This general store partners with local animal shelters to host dog adoptions events. Adoptable dogs find a home and new owners learn how to properly care for their new pet.

I have 7 black sweatpants and 5 black sweatshirts and almost none of them match. The service is on point and their discounts are usually really good. Date I say the best on the east coast but it could be that I just happen to have more access so I see the 40% days more than I do at the other locations. When I went to check out, the assistant manager simply walked to the register and told me to bring my items over. She did not ask if I was ready to purchase or if I had found everything I needed. I also requested a military discount and was prepared to show my military ID, but was told it would not apply to the shoes I selected. No clear explanation was given, and the policy seemed inconsistent and unclear. During the checkout process, instead of focusing on my transaction, the assistant manager carried on a casual conversation with the security guard, who was eating popcorn at the time. They openly discussed other customers in the store, which I found highly inappropriate and unprofessional. This was not only poor service--it was unacceptable behavior for someone in a management role. As the first and primary representative customers encounter, the assistant manager set a negative tone for the entire experience. If this is the standard of customer service that Famous Footwear accepts from its leadership at Tanger Mall, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this store to others. I strongly urge corporate leadership to review both the professionalism of the store's management and the clarity of its military discount policy. There were only a few customers in the store when I got there, so checking out was fast! Even better was the 35% discount that was applied to my entire purchase. This store is big and very well organized. It is easy to navigate. Very bright and well stocked. I went directly to the novelty tees, as I usually do. Grab a few there and then go back towards the clearance rack. Not finding anything on the clearance rack I went and checked out the jackets. I have one that will last another year, but it didn't hurt to look. When it was still cold out, probably not the best time to look as the prices were still high. Knowing, and being aware that, this is here. I will keep that in mind when I need to grab something clothing wise. I enjoy their line and will continue to shop here.
