Lights that won't go off, the seat belt & brake light are normal

This company is the absolute worst. Jim claims to have 40 years of experience, yet he & the other mechanics couldn't fully diagnose the issues with my car. When I pointed out that the traction control light and other warning lights were still on, he casually said, "sorry, I guess we missed that." They're a AAA-trusted company but the same day I got my car back, it had several issues. When I asked about their diagnostic process, Jim said it was just based on the issues I mentioned and a quick visual inspection. The A/C still doesn't work and the car dangerously pulls to the right when I turn left. They didn't report any of the warning lights or alignment issues, even though the steering wheel was visibly off & other visibility issues. Another mechanic told me the car wasn't safe to drive, which contradicts their claim that it was "good to go." To top it off, they tried to charge me $130 in labor just to change the battery- something AutoZone does for free! The total cost for the battery replacement came out to nearly $350, $130 of which is labor- that's absurd!

I took my car in on Wednesday for repair for differential noise and left with paint scratches and other things. I put a lot of money in my car for me to not get it back the same way. I brought it to the attention of the staff and he couldn't figure out how it got there but it certainly wasn't there when I dropped it off. Other than that, customer service was great but still need work on the car otherwise to get to the root of the problem. But I'm really pissed about the dirtiness, scruffiness and scratches because it wasn't there property

Mike in response to your reply, it was on a flat bed tow truck. I am reading your other reviews. some are really not so good. You need to get your act together at Allied. Look like you are losing customers. so, getting back to my lug nuts, they evidently vanished in transit on the tow truck. interesting scenario.

To be fair, they did attempt to replicate the conditions, and I chose not to proceed with a full diagnostic at that time because I initially wanted a visual inspection first. After that inspection, I was quoted $1,800 for a compressor replacement by a technician named Gary. What concerned me was the level of confidence in diagnosing the compressor as the issue without a full diagnostic. From what I understand, and based on further research, it's very difficult to definitively determine that a compressor is the cause of a squealing noise without running proper tests under load and evaluating related components like the belt and tensioner. To be clear, I did decline diagnostics initially, but I was still reassured that the compressor was the issue, which didn't feel like a fully supported conclusion. I also looked into pricing, and while compressor replacements can be expensive, most estimates I found for Las Vegas are generally in the $700-$1,200 range (with some variation depending on the vehicle). That makes the $1,800 quote seem on the higher end, especially without a confirmed diagnosis. Part of me speculates if the high quote may partially due to me being a woman, however, I can't confirm this suspicion to be true. I did not move forward with the repair and will be getting a second opinion. I would recommend others ask for a full diagnostic and possibly a second opinion before agreeing to major repairs. After more research I'll be trying Busy Boots for the second opinion, as they have higher yelp ratings.

Within minutes of putting in a request I started to receive quotes. In the end, it was not the price that sold me on LV Mobile Oil Change and Brakes but what Steven wrote on his price quote, it was the type of oil he was going to use for my vehicle: European specific oil blend. After a couple more text over the app, I made an appointment for Sunday. I received an appointment confirmation and a service call the morning of the appointment (nice touch on the call). Steven arrived on time and after asking him a couple of maintenance questions about my vehicle and future service needs, he went to work on the oil change. Oil change took about 20 minutes (way faster than any dealership or oil change garage). I also had him install a new cabin filter (for a small addition fee). Overall, very happy with the service, Steven is very professional and does a quality job. Will definitely use their service again.
