    My favy, let's mangoooooo!

Came for the USA/Aussie world cup game and this was certainly a "vibes" place. Unbelievable atmosphere and always love the beers as I live by the OG in n Herndon. Always good vibes and good times at Aslin! Cheers!!!!

Finally checked out Aslin! First impression: such a cool, thoughtfully designed spot. It feels like there's something for everyone under one roof. They've got IZZI Kitchen serving up pizza, sandwiches, brunch, and even BBQ, plus ice cream, a full-service cafe, and an outdoor beer garden. It's the kind of place where you could easily hang for hours whether you're grabbing a quick drink or making a whole afternoon of it. Unfortunately, it was cold and rainy when we went, so we didn't get to fully explore the outdoor space. But even just peeking outside, you can tell it's going to be a vibe when the weather warms up. Fire pits, plenty of seating, and a layout that looks perfect for groups. I will 100% be back on a sunny day to sit out there with a beer and really take it all in. As for the beer, I had the Old Town Lager and it was super crisp and easy to drink, exactly what I wanted. Great option if you're not in the mood for something too heavy but still want a solid craft beer. We also happened to visit on a Thursday when trivia was going on, which added a fun, lively energy without feeling overwhelming. You could tell there were regulars there but it still felt welcoming for first timers. It's uch a versatile spot. Between the food options, coffee, ice cream, beer, and that outdoor setup, this is the kind of place you can come back to again and again and have a different experience each time. Definitely excited to return when the weather cooperates

What a fun environment!! This was on my list of places to try for longer than I'd like to admit, but I finally checked it out & it did not disappoint! They have a great selection of some awesome & wild beers/ciders! I appreciated the lit fires outside & the tall connect 4 games outside. Looks like they have a cool rooftop area too that I'm looking forward to checking out once it's warmer! We loved playing in with their board games that are stacked indoors on the bar! It's a cool place with great beers/ciders & looks like they do some fun game nights too! Highly recommend !

This place is pure perfection. I'm in my happy place here. The beers are delightful. The food is decent. The service is impeccable. Love Love Love the outdoor seating.

I decided to come to this venue to hear a DJ set and it was so much more than i expected. There were food, games, music, tv's, beers, ciders, etc. Most breweries and similar places do not typically have many food options, but here, there was pretty much any food you can think of. The fries were good and seasoned, however, the chicken sandwich was a little too crispy for my liking. Next time i come, i will probably do try the pizza or crab cake. The Venue is majority outside with plenty of seating, and fire pits. They are also pet and kid friendly! All of the employees i encountered were super nice and helpful. They have different events all the time i will definitely be back!

Aslin is a nice spot down at the Oceanfront! It's located near the convention center and The Vibe District. It's especially super nice during warm weather. The outdoor area is super relaxing with fire pits, picnic tables, an outdoor bar, and various creative seating. Trivia there is a whole lot of fun! The inside is cool, giving a colorful vibes The pizza is yummy. Most recently got the pepperoni pizza, I love the cheese along with the cupped pepperoni. Holds all the flavor! The taste is very fresh. The dough is light. I wish the crust had a little seasoning. I also really enjoyed the cheese curds. I felt the burgers and hot dogs were tasty, but I feel the pizza is the main attraction. The drink options are nice. I prefer the sours. The staff have always been wonderful. They are very relaxed and chill, which is a good vibe for a brewery.

Aslin Beer is a great meet-up spot for groups. I met friends there to hang out, and it was the perfect setting~relaxed, welcoming, and even kid-friendly. We loved the indoor area for warmth while we ate and caught up. Later, our group moved outside and sat around the fire pit, which made the experience even better. It's such a nice balance of cozy and social. They also have fun food options that pair well with your beverage of choice, making it easy to snack and sip while enjoying good company. Definitely a go-to spot for casual gatherings.

Food was amazing. Chicken sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, whipped ricotta with veggies, pepperoni pizza ordered. All excellent. Rick the cook came out to introduce himself too!

Beer selection and flavors are excellent. The pizza, salads, chicken burger were great. In VA Beach's vibe district. The physical space is great. They have plenty of long tables inside. The patio in the winter has heaters and you can also order food from those tables. It looks like most of the walls open up for nice weather onto an astroturf law. area complete with Adirondack chairs. Service was quick and minimal as you order through a QR code, but plenty of staff around happy to help if you need anything.

Big fan of Aslin beers so was excited to check out their Virginia Beach location! They have beer, food, and coffee here. The staff was friendly and service was quick. It seemed like they have lots of fun events too. I wish it hadn't been so hot so we could have enjoyed their outdoor space!

Yum! We've driven past several times and said we needed to come give this new spot a try and decided to come with our daughter (5 months and in a stroller) and our next door neighbor on Saturday. The weather was perfect, it was crowded, and it was Oysterfest (at Aslin). They had a tent and a grill and were serving up large oysters by the half-dozen. For a while we couldn't find a table or place to sit in the shade with our girl but we finally found a nice, shaded picnic table in the back patio in the gravel by the merch. I like the QR codes at the table where you can scan, review the menu, and order. Staff will bring it out to you shortly. You can also order at any of the bar counters. Easy peasy. I ordered the kale salad with bread crumbs bc I'm trying to lose the last 10 from the baby and my husband and his friend ordered the hot honey pepperoni pizza. DELISH. I sampled it. Probs the best pizza I've had in VAB and I am not kidding. Large menu with pasta, salads, sandwiches, pizza, sides, etc. You name it - I was impressed bc most beer venues do not have this level of food choices. Staff are easygoing and friendly and vibes here are hip, relaxed, and fun. As with most places like this, tons of kids running around, it's loud and chaotic and that is part of the fun! The inside area is VERY nice as well. Large, spacious and new bathroom was spotless with a nice baby changing station (a must for me now). We're looking forward to our next time out.

We're brewery travelers & this is our 575th brewery! We are fans of the Pittsburgh spot but the beachy vibes of this location are perfect! Anthony, Dillon & Austin were friendly and informative and we even learned one was also from upstate NY. Beer was cold, beer slushy made from the sour beer hit the spot. The salad was fresh and we also enjoyed a burger and cheese curds. Perfect spot to hang when you've had enough of the beach!

Shoutout to Anthony and Rachel at the Virginia Beach Aslin location! They were so sweet and helpful when taking my order, and Anthony even moved the register just to help me get the perfect shot of my drink--how thoughtful is that? I'm obsessed with the Jarito Margarita (get the mango!)--it's refreshing, flavorful, and honestly Instagram-worthy. The vibe at this spot is always great, the employees are super friendly, and it's quickly become one of my favorite hangouts. 10/10 recommend!

It's kind of like Taste in that it's like a Hip And Trendy Sandwich Spot - the staff is mostly perky, cool, and very competent college students - and the prices are about on par with Taste as well, but for what you get here, it's probably double the value of what you can get there. I got their tuna melt, which stuck with me for long enough that it had me craving another sandwich like that when I was in the area again. So today I was in the area again and I brought a friend, who also got the tuna melt and loved it. The thing about that sandwich is that they probably put about a half pound of bluefin tuna salad on it, and it's not mayo or filler-heavy. It's very tuna-forward, which is a plus to me. This time I got the Kevin's Bday, which was turkey, bacon, cheese, LT with this amazing garlicky green onion aioli, because honestly I was like, "Well, the tuna melt was really good. But what about just a Normal Ass Sandwich??" Both those sandwiches come on thick toasted (I think potato?) sandwich bread and my god it was all SO delicious. Again, the portion was enough for two meals, and it was just a turkey sandwich! The turkey was super succulent too. One small detail i really appreciated was that I believe they cut their tomatoes on the slicer as well; they're incredibly thin, and they add a lot to the sandwich without overpowering it. Also their tots are unreal. Sorry for rambling. I'm very passionate about sandwiches apparently. All I'm saying is that if you're at the oceanfront and you're trying to pick a sandwich place, it should be this one.

It added a depth of flavor I wasn't expecting and absolutely loved. At $18 (+ an additional $2 for a can of diet coke), it's a little pricey IMHO, but I'd order it again without hesitation because it's that good. Yorkie's is such a cute spot, the staff was friendly, and while parking can be a bit sparse around lunchtime, it's worth it. I'm already looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu!

Unfortunately, none of the bagels or cream cheeses were labeled. My excitement quickly turned into confusion when I took a big bite of what I was sure was my beloved strawberry cream cheese... only to discover it was definitely not strawberry. And let's just say an onion bagel paired with the wrong cream cheese is a combination I wouldn't recommend. The food itself was great, but a little labeling would go a long way. A simple sticker or note on the bottom of each cream cheese container and small tent cards identifying the bagel flavors would save future customers from accidental flavor roulette. Still a fan, but next time I'd like to know whether I'm biting into strawberry bliss or an unexpected onion surprise! For a side note it's so easy to order online for a quick stop on the way to work. I ended up on the combo of their soup and salad since their soup also sounded good. I was hesitant on the strawberries in the wine country salad since I know they're not in season really, but they were lovely. Everything in the salad worked well together and the dressing was nice and vinegary while still tasting of raspberries. It was very well balanced except for the ratio of toppings to greens. I feel as though there was just a little too much toppings. It could've used more leafs. As for the soup, it was a little bland, but after adding salt and pepper it tasted nice. It was mostly soup rather than crab or corn though. That was my only critique really, the temperature was good as well. It could've used some crackers on the side, but it wasn't necessary, just would've been a nice touch. Our waitress was quite nice, checked up on us and got us refills. All of our food came out together and hot. The sandwiches on other people's plates all looked wonderful, and after having a shoestring fry, I can definitely say next time I will be ordering some of those. As far as ambiance goes, it was nicely lit but still moody, which was appreciated. Very chill in there. Only reason I rate it 3 stars is because I feel as though there's room for improvement food wise, and price wise. $20+ for almost everything on the menu is pretty ridiculous. Even for some of the simple items. I don't think the food is that good, proportionately appropriate, or creative to be that much money. Maybe it's just me, but that's how I feel. I'll probably be back to try more items, I'd recommend coming here at least once to try if you haven't, during happy hour to get the best prices if you can.
