When you are on a VB mural discovery day and wander into a place like Vibrant Shore and meet a Rhett you know you will have an awesome memory. I'm not a beer drinker by any stretch but after snapping pics of the cool mural outside I decided this place could be different.. Worth a a shot... I walked in and Rhett was behind the bar and I gave him the tough task of recommending to a non beer drinker something I might want to order again... He did not disappoint.. He gave me options.. descriptions.. and explanations which were all greatly appreciated but when I landed on the Raspberry Gose I was wildly impressed! I had a great time visiting this brewery, some solid beers on hand and great employees that I was able to chat with for a bit. A nice little spot not too far from the beach, as a nice easy walk. The brewery just seemed to emit a nice chill vibe throughout. Definitely worth a stop in the area. There was also a food truck available on site as well, as no food was made at the brewery. Amazing beer! I had their raspberry gose and their Japanese rice beer. My boyfriend tried a couple IPAs. There's lots of indoor and outdoor seating and some games available. What a great spot to hang out and have beers, flights, and adult slushies. I highly recommend a flight and slushy to start, As hot as it has been these days. You can get a feel for what flavors you like when you get a flight. Then you can get a pint of your FAVE. They have a great variety from sours, IPA"s to honey ales and lagers. Flavors are always changing but I am sure they will have something that fits your taste buds. My group of people all like something different and we all loved what we got. Did I mention the slushy??? YOU HAVE TO GET A N ADULT SLUSHY!!! Yum!!! Friendly staff, clean brewery, lots of great seating inside and out. The outside has big fans and it is my favorite to hang out and be comfortable. They do have a food truck. OK lets address the parking. I think they have many options of parking. You can park right on the street by the brewery. Please pay attention to no parking signs. And They have parking at MacKenzie Construction during the week after 5PM and after 1PM on the weekends. So just ask for a parking pass at the brewery. They have signs explaining the parking. It is also 5 minutes from the convention center. There is parking everywhere you just have to look. If your meeting someone and want to be ontime I suggest you show up a little early to find that perfect parking spot. read more

We stopped in here before heading back to our hotel. Lots of friendly patrons and bartenders here. The beer selection had many offerings from their, and other VA breweries available - so choice is optimal. They offer fresh popcorn inside the bar, and it went very well while we watched the Big Labowski on the upstairs back patio. It was a great way to wrap up the visit to the Vibe District. We stopped here on a rainy weekday afternoon around 4 and really enjoyed the experience. We had a couple of flights and then a pint. The beer was really tasty and the service was great. This is a cozy little beer place and we will happily return when in the area. The only complaint is that a small bag of popcorn should be free!!! We got a bag and it was a few bucks. Very cute atmosphere. If you're visiting the oceanfront, this could definitely be a great spot to stop if you like beer tastings. They offer reasonably priced flights, which we took advantage of, however none of the beers WOWed us. Typically a huge fan of gose, but theirs was not very good... to the point that I didn't even finish my small flight sized tasting. Outstanding. An absolutely HUGE selection of beers. The people working here were so chill and nice and patient. Major shout out to them. I honestly think I had one of everything, and I'm not even kidding. Jack the Dripper was the gold medalist, though. I'd get that every time. Didn't eat any food, but they have a food truck outside. So it is there if you want it. The live music was good. The couple doing the thing were called The Bee Keepers. I dug them. They were so patient with the crowd, and I hope people tipped them well. They even called me up to sing Piano Man. So I did. The bar was really busy when we were there. Tropical Storm Elsa was hitting, so people were looking for indoor things. Moreover, there was a huge field hockey recruiting thing going on in VA Beach that week, so a lot of coaches ended up here. And we ended up partying down with a lot of them. So cool. The bathroom paper towel dispenser had a sticker on it that said "Voice Activated." I can see how after a night of drinking, people are in there yelling at the paper towel dispenser asking for paper towels. Heck - I had only had two at this point and I did it. Yes yes, it got me. Funny stuff. If I'm ever in VA Beach again, I'll definitely be back. read more

Great brewery. Can I leave it like that? This brewery is kinda sorta hidden but not really next to all the chaos of the boardwalk. We've gone here a few times so far, and I've had zero issues with parking (like right up front) or seating. There's plenty of seats inside and out. Vang's Sushi Truck is home based here so if you want good, FRESH sushi...this is the one. I spend way too much money on their sushi, and I'm okay with that. The actual brewery has a huge selection of variety from those wierd creations that people seem to like, to just good old fashion style beer. The Beer Tenders are awesome and very nice. Overall, this place has a very local and chill feel, and I really like it. If you don't...it's not the place....it's you. Well done. read more

It was a beautiful Friday evening. Full disclosure: we came here for the Vang's sushi. I am not much of a beer drinker but I will say this: they basically have a beer for everyone here! It's a lot bigger inside than you'd think. Being someone that is naive to the beer industry, I really appreciated the boards with the listing of beers and their alcohol content. This might now be one of my favorite local breweries. Tucked off the beaten path on 18th St, they are brewing some amazing, diverse beers. I LOVED the Scarlet Future IPA. I'm not always an IPA fan, but the blood orange takes the edge off the bitterness in a wonderfully balancing way. They were really friendly, and let me sample a few before choosing. The Rising Bun (Japanese lager) and Better than the Devil (Vienna lager) are great, tasty sippers for the poolside or the beach. The Unlimited Strength was a really tasty Belgian-style Tripple ale. I look forward to returning many times. I also really appreciated the nice big, bike rack out front, as this was a post-ride pint. read more

I was in Virginia Beach on vacation for the first time last week. I happened to see a flyer for Vibrant Shore in the hotel lobby so I thought I'd stop in since the flyer had a coupon and the beer list sounded interesting. I got there and the staff was very friendly, there was a musician outside, and there were a couple very friendly and well-behaved dogs. I loved the atmosphere. It was like a very chill coffeehouse, but with beer instead of coffee. The beer was very good (I had a pint of the rice beer). I went back the next night and there was less going on but the staff was again very friendly. I bought a t-shirt and a Vienna lager style beer which was excellent. My husband and I were on our way to another restaurant when we drove by and seen Vang's sushi parked out front of Vibrant Shore Brewing. We had been dying to try Vang's sushi so we stopped to eat here instead of the restaurant we originally planned for. To our surprise we fell in love with Vibrant. The drinks were good. They even have delicious made in-house non-alcoholic drinks. I had a lemonade that was super delicious. They have ample amount of seating outside, inside and on their rooftop. We didn't even know they had a rooftop until we left so we hope to come back and hang out there. It was also very clean inside. Staff came around cleaning up through out the time we were there. The staff members were very nice and we had great conversations with them. My husband ended up buying a T-shirt because they had nice merchandise with nice designs. We loved the vibe here. This place is awesome!! Such a fun outside environment. The food truck here today was The Potato Peeps and it was phenomenal!! We got a baked potato with bacon, butter, cheese, green onions, and sour cream (I got it on the side) and the steak and cheese plz fries. Both dishes were absolutely amazing and the owners were so sweet! They're brand new so check them out!! Vibrant shore itself was also great! They have a ton of different beers to choose from and a few non-alcoholic beverages as well. Our bartender was so nice and knowledgeable about the beers. He mixed the raspberry and oranges goses together and it was so good!! They have an upstairs patio along with their front patio so plenty of places to sit and enjoy the weather. And I got a beer I could drink. There were 2 ladies behind the bar. Cassie waited on us and was wonderful. Came to Vibrant Shore Brewing as part of the VA Brewery Run series. The company is tucked back on a side road near some condos/townhomes so can easily be missed if you are not familiar with the area. The place was busy after the run, but still ample room for everyone. For the size of the establishment, they had s wife selection of beers to choose from. I had the "It's So LA" a west Coast IPA - which I normally love - but this one had a bitter aftertaste that made it hard to drink. My husband's drink, "The Future" was great though! How is there no great reviews of this place yet?! I went here for a Saturday morning yoga session (donation based, so fun too) and I loved it! It's in a great location near the oceanfront, really easily accessible even though there isn't a ton of parking. The vibe is very modern-rustic and simple, and they have a ton on tap. Right now they have not only their brews, but also kombucha and nitro cold brew. I got the cold brew after our workout and mannn it was out of this world. Something about coffee out of a tap. I love that they're welcoming in pop-up classes and really getting involved with the va beach community. It was great, now to go back for the beer! read more

Pretty good. Their beer selection is not that bad. I was a bit upset they don't have a hefeweizen beer. For those of you that are familiar with beers or German for that matter it's a wheat based beer, ideally on the lighter side. Other than that the ambient is very nice and hipster like.
