I do love a Zero's sub. Warm and toasty with Olive Oil and Seasonings. Conveniently located with a parking lot. They have seating indoors but I always take it home. If you like Cheerwine.....they have it!!! Glass bottles. Prices have gone up but all prices have gone up. They always have a sub of the month and other specials. Friendly staff. The owner does a lot to help the local kids so I love supporting this particular Zero's.

Every time I come to VA I'm beach Zero subs is definitely on the list of places to go! Technically, I have given up subs but how can I resist this place‍‍. Bread is like none other! Parking not a issue as this is a stand alone restaurant. Bathrooms and store nice and clean. If I had the option of choosing more than 5 stars I definitely would give it more. You are doing yourself a huge favor if you stop by! You won't regret it! The best around!

My fiancé and I went here for lunch after driving from Richmond. We wanted something that we could take on the beach with us if we didn't finish, so we chose subs. We've never tried Zero's so we ended up here. Upon walking in, it smelled weird and was really hot. While waiting for our food, we have a fan blowing on us and it smelled like onions. There's seating inside but we opted to eat in the car. Staff was friendly to guests and made conversation with the regulars there. I ordered the Turkey and cheese sub without lettuce and tomato. My fiancé ordered the Grinder with everything on it. My sub was OK aside from something spilled on it (smelled spicy) and my lettuce was very warm. My fiancé liked his sub!

Since 1967 Zero's Subs founded in Virginia Beach has been cranking out delicious subs. So before Subway they were making it fresh! Since 1967 the original location is no longer, but they have expanded and franchised out of state. Their name recognition is still local to Hampton Roads. I've had a few visits to this location that have been solid and thought it was strange their business listing disappeared. So I have added and expect Yelp HQ to locate the original. When pulling in the tiny lot your greeted by a large VW bus mural by local artist TALENT which is darn cool! The business retains a surfer type atmosphere with roots at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. A recent visit I grabbed a BLT with chips. I received friendly customer service from both staff at cash register and sandwich maker. The price was above chain sub places, but not by much. The beachy atmosphere was small with table and chairs. Everything was clean and inviting for guest. My order was called up in less than 10 minutes. The bread was fresh and it was loaded beyond expectations of bacon. Check out one of their many Coastal Virginia locations and support local.

I think this was the original Zero's location. So, I grew up with Zero's as a VB "native" and whenever I get to come back....I always have to get a grinder. Usually I go to the Hilltop location but wanted to try the original location....though I am sure as a kid I went here. Never disappoints....these grinders. Something about them that just brings back the memories and nostalgia....and they are just so good! I called ahead and placed my order. This is a busy location and the line was literally out the door, yet it moves fast! Everyone is friendly and polite, and my order was made exactly as requested!

Cool local sandwich shop, eat in or take out. Some of the better sandwiches in the area. Plenty of room to sit down and enjoy your food. Not exactly the most pleasant staff, but the food makes up for it.

We were going to move but they had a big fan blowing and they turned it away from her. Now take that with a grain of salt because the heat in her room is set to 76 and it's April. 2. It was too loud. Since the kitchen is open you can hear the cooks doing cook things. She was irritated by the noises coming from the kitchen but once again....grain of salt. The volume on her TV is at 80 and she can't hear it but can hear the kitchen noises. 3. The seat was too hard. Once again....grain of salt. She is skin and bones but I will bring her something to sit on next time. She actually did enjoy the food but I got the leftovers. :) We will be back.

One piece of advice: arrive a little before Happy Hour begins at 3:00 p.m. If you wait until then, you'll likely find yourself several people deep in line. Don't let that discourage you. Embrace it, because once you're seated you'll quickly discover that the wait was well worth it. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices--especially during Happy Hour--are outstanding. The Atlantic specializes in oysters, and their Happy Hour runs daily from 3:00-6:00 p.m., including weekends. We began with a Chopped Caesar Salad ($9). Every ingredient was crisp, fresh, and flavorful--a simple dish executed exactly as it should be. Next came the oysters: a dozen Rockefeller and a dozen Pacific. The Rockefeller oysters were everything you would expect from this classic preparation--rich, savory, and baked beautifully. The Pacific oysters, however, completely stole the show. Each oyster was topped with a delicious combination of chorizo sausage, pepper jack cheese, and seasonings before being baked to perfection. They were bold, flavorful, and easily my favorite item of the afternoon. I also ordered the Double Stack Cheeseburger ($7), and what a terrific value. The burger arrived piping hot, loaded with melted cheese, and accompanied by a generous serving of crispy fries. It's hard to imagine finding a better burger at that price anywhere along the Oceanfront. My wife ordered the pork, shrimp, and kimchi dumplings served with a chili crunch and ponzu sauce that tied the entire dish together beautifully. She jokingly threatened to drink the remaining sauce after finishing the dumplings (she didn't), but she did convince me to dip one of my fries into it. She was absolutely right--it was fantastic. In fact, I now regret turning down the dumpling she generously offered me. Part of the fun of dining here is watching Shuck-Master Slim work. He's not only remarkably skilled but entertaining as well, adding a little personality to an already enjoyable experience. From the fresh seafood to the outstanding value and friendly atmosphere, this was another memorable visit to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. If you haven't been to The Atlantic on Pacific, I highly recommend adding it to your list. You'll be glad you did, and you can rest assured that you're helping support one of our outstanding local restaurants.

The ambiance was nice, the open kitchen with the wood fire hearth right at the entrance added a warm cozy feel from the onset. The restaurant was warmly lit but not dark. We were seated immediately in the far left dining area in an elevated booth. After reviewing the menu we settled on the fried deviled eggs and wood fire oysters for starters and the Vincent Vega pizza for dinner. Fried deviled eggs was a first for us and it was so good! The egg white was breaded very lightly and fried and the egg yolk was piped on top with a piece of smoky delicious bacon goodness. It had a nice smoky, bacon-y taste and we devoured them. I only wish you got more than 2 pieces. I think 4 pieces would be better for the price considering it's essentially one egg but I'm not complaining. The wood fire oysters was another hit for us, the serving came with 6 half shell oysters topped with breadcrumbs (light), swimming in butter and fire roasted. I think we ate these even faster than the deviled eggs lol! Would definitely get these again. The pizza also did not disappoint. If you like bacon, mushrooms and creamy Boursin cheese, you'll love this pizza. We added crushed red pepper flakes which added a nice kick. The crust is the star of the show; thin, crispy but still has body and slightly chewy. Yum! That wood fire hearth definitely makes a difference. Overall we had a great experience and will definitely be back! The staff were also very nice and friendly.

I brought a party of 5 to finally partake in the culinary excellence that Eurasia has to offer. As a collective we ordered- STEAK N EGGS w/ no egg : such depth in all aspects of every bite. The polenta and steak were cooked with absolute precision. PEANUT CHICKEN WINGS : probably my absolute favorite of the entire spread. The tartness of the peanut butter was a very pleasant surprise. I would absolutely purchase a jar of the sauce alone. CRAB RANGOON FLATBREAD : an elevated version of a favorite take out additive. Sauce to ingredient ratio was to die for! GREEN GODDESS & MANGO SALAD : this salad was dressed to perfection, allowing all items to shine in its each individual way. CHILI CRUNCH TUNA POKE : I mean you quite literally will explode with satisfaction with every bite. The freshness and variety of flavor / texture is impeccable. FRIED RICE W/EGG ON SIDE : you can absolutely distinguish that whoever is on the line preparing your fried rice is doing so with the experience in mind. The preparation of the shrimp, the array of colored FRESH vegetables, and the rice itself. DIRTY MARTINI FETTUCINE PASTA : a blue cheese olive dirty martini is my all time favorite drink so lo and behold, there was a pasta created by its existence. The block of blue cheese down to the plethora of capers, absolute chefs kiss. BBQ DUCK : honestly if this was all I ordered , I would be more than satisfied. This item was accompanied by the most decadent Mac & Cheese , a perfected bowl of collard greens, and the pickled mountain of cabbage. STRAWBERRY CRUMB CRÈME BRÛLÉE : for the most part , I tend to stray away from a crème brûlée due to the lack of creativity. HOWEVER, the strawberry crunch crumbs and that dream of a sugar crust. I could clear a couple plates of this. PASSIONFRUIT & PANDAN TART : this hit every note of a well rounded dessert. The passionfruit was so tart with a subtle sourness that aided the coconut shortbread cookie. I would like to shout out our waitress Fantasia for an amazing service that evening by ensuring the plates never stopped coming, drinks stayed full, and any requests satisfied.
