Went to this dental office for a cleaning only. I gave it a 2 but only because the receptionist and one other person were friendly. Then after all their (you have to dos) they said we would have to come back another day for the cleaning. I don't have any thing else to say w/I getting belligerent. Patient beware both my wife and I gave it a shot even after reading the reviews absolutely horrible experience Dr. Tran insisted upon providing a treatment that our insurance did not cover before he would do a basic cleaning covered by insurance I let him know that I was just here for basic cleaning and would defer to the specialized treatment at a later time and he refused to clean my teeth I have filed a formal grievance with my insurance provider and I hope this matter is resolved properly please read the reviews there's a lot of truth behind them read more

'Dr' Vu Tran is unprofessional, immature and rude. He was more interested in his weekend plans and socializing with staff than he was in TREATING his patient: Me. He acted bothered. Very smug, too. What a waste of time. I went elsewhere and worked with REAL dentist with experience who cared: I love my new impacts and I'm very pleased that Aspen Dental did NOT get my 25K. Well, let me start by stating they LOVE to keep you waiting! I personally have lost over 3 hours sitting in their waiting room. If they didn't have my crown I would have went somewhere else where I am valued as a patient. I received a "Treatment Acceptance and payment arrangement form" I chose to pay the entire balance in advance. But since I finally got fed up enough to walk out on my last visit, after the dentist tech told me they knew I was waiting but took another patient before me, (WHAT? / YES!) I then proceeded to receive an new bill for another $389 dollars. (WHAT? / YES AGAIN!) DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST THEY WILL WASTE YOUR TIME AND TAKE YOUR MONEY! One good point is my Crown is good. DEFINATELY NOT WORTH THE DRAMA! OR THE MONEY!! read more

The office staff is amazing. Dee held my arm and squeezed in comfort. I think the office just has too many patients and only one dentist. The dentist is knowledgeable. If you need a bit more time spent with you, I would go elsewhere. The wait is long - not to get back into a room but actually seeing a doctor. I think they need another dentist in addition to the one they have. I think that would allow the current dentist to take more time. I think the dentist wants to be nice but it comes out rushed - which I understand. When I came in for my appointment there were probably 10 people in the waiting room. They accept walk ins which is nice if someone had an emergency. I had an appointment and they took me back on time. I Again, I think he is a good dentist and I'm sure working at Aspen wasn't what he had in mind when he went to school for a bazillion years. I want to rate this higher due to the staff but two stars is "I've experienced better" and honestly I have. Three stars is "A-OK" (which seems like a 4 or 5 star rating) and I wouldn't say everything was A-OK there. I'd give them a 6 out of 10. Whomever owns Aspen needs to just put another dentist here and I think that would help. (I have absolutely no knowledge of dentist office workings so this is a random uneducated guess - ha!) One other thing - you may want to close the patient file when you leave the room for long periods of time. I seriously glanced over and saw a less than wonderful note about me right on the top page. It said that I asked them to stop due to my disease. Except it was written like "This person claimed to have xxx disease and asked me to keep stopping. She called out 'I have "xxx disease"!! (yes, two explanation points and quotes)'. I asked once when the pain got crazy. I couldn't take a prescription pain med due to two crowns being out of my mouth. The chartnote and the dentist gave me the opinion that my disease wasn't real or I wasn't believed. As soon as I was able to take a narcotic, I was okay and the dentist saw that. So perhaps be a little slower to judge. Okay...so that was quite the review. My husband said he'd go there again and will. I am going to have to wait and see. The experience at Aspen Dent was great for the most part. However a months after getting my mother's "temporary"dentures replaced they broke. She went and had them repaired while still "waiting" on her permanent dentures to come in. Paid more money to get her "temporary" dentures fixed. My mom went back to ask when she would receive the permanent dentures and was told she would have to pay another 800 dollars for it. The first visit I accompanied my mother and We were told that she would get a temporary denture and then a permanent one after they were able to have it made. We were NEVER told that she had to pay for the permanent set. We have been back and forth with Aspen dental trying to get this issued resolved. However all we get from them are apologies and no resolve to the issue. We called again today and yet again our cries fall on deaf ears. We are not asking for a free be however we are asking for integrity and their word. How did we both hear the wrong information? read more

I love Dr V. Tran and appreciate everything he did for me over the years but the Manager Erica and staff did not make me feel wanted after the dental assistant Denise attempted to fix my bite on three different visits after my temporary partial was fixed for a hairline crack. I was told by the staff my bite was unable to be fixed because the temporary partial was too old and I would have to tolerate the irritation and it not fitting correctly until I get my permanent partial. I had requested Dr.Tran to see me on all three visits because he had fixed my bite in the past with no problem when the dental assistants could not but i was told he was too busy to see me AFTER I had got there for my visit. On my third visit and the dental assistant did not even try to fix my bite and told me until I got my permanent I would just have to live with my bite being off. I went home to calm down and called the office to ask why I was unable to see the dentist for the third time in a row and was told by the receptionist not the manager that I was taking up too much of the staffs time and was discharged. I was able to get in touch with Jessie at Manatee Dental at College Plaza and Dr Kutsky fixed my bite within seconds with no problem on the first visit and gave me a consult for my permanent partial and we started impressions that day. read more

Today I had a bottom molar extracted after months of pain. I am a gigantic baby when it comes to needles and having dental work done. When I called and explained what was going on they told me to come right in. I can't remember the girls name that answered the phone but she was super friendly and accommodating. After my X-rays were completed, Jamie the hygienist can in and explained everything to me. She was very reassuring. Next came Dr Tran and his assistant. In all of my 41 years I have never seen a more professional and caring team. Although the needles hurt (I'm a baby don't judge) Dr Tran was patient enough to let me take a break between them. The extraction went perfectly and as of right now I'm still numb. I cannot say enough about this group of individuals that took the time to ease my mind and make me feel comfortable. Buyer beware. This place is only interested In getting their greedy hands as far into your pocket as they possibly can. They have their scare-doom and gloom procedure Down to an art. I was told I Needed $4000 for various cleanings and crowns. I went to another dentist and the $4000 turned into $400. Aspen dentist didn't even notice the cavity that I had. Dollar signs were corrupting his vision Obviously there is a company policy To garnish the most expensive treatments that they can soak the customer with. They start off with 18 X-rays some of which were done 2 or 3 times. The technician told me they weren't harmful. Totally ignorant of X-ray Dangers. I went to Aspen on Cortez five years ago for a lower denture it was a good experience . I went back last year 2017 for upper teeth work and was talked in to having all my remaining teeth pulled and having upper and lower dentures put in. It is now the 14th of may 2018 and they finally gave me my permeant ones. My experience was miserable from day one and my old lower dentures still fit better than the new ones. The it was like I was a part on a production line. They would say that they are listening to you at fitting you but you know they weren't . It was just and all around terrible time. This is costing me $3,459.00 . I may have to eat it and now have to go some were else for dentures that will fit properly. read more

I have been a patient for 2 years now. A few weeks ago they over charged me by $87. I went back the same day and Josh the office manager said I would see a credit on my charge card. In a week. I called Josh 4 times with no call back. I finally received my credit 3 weeks later. Extremely poor customer service I will never go back. They also charged me $30 for a flouride treatment that I wasn't told about. They knew they over charged me the day of my treatment. This should never have happened. read more

The staff is wonderful. Very caring and competent. The doctors very uncaring and brisk. They swoop in act like you are crazy with your concerns. It is also very hard to get a timely appointment. I waited 4 weeks, then they cancelled my appointment and I had to wait another 3 weeks. I will be going to get a second opinion elsewhere, I didn't like the way I was treated by the doctor. Dr. John was very thorough and actually noticed something on one of my teeth that bothers me (a minor cosmetic issue) that no other dentist had ever noticed. Dr. John also didn't try to upsell me on services that I didn't need. Their customer service is also amazing. Shyla (I think) was very nice and helpful. Lastly I see here that people had a difficult time getting an appointment. I called and was scheduled for an appointment a week later....but the guy at the call center did tell me that usually it is very difficult to get an appointment so quickly and they are typically booked about a month out. The facilities were very clean, but they were short on toilet paper, but that's a very minor issue. read more

I paid over 8,000.00 for a set of dentures and when needing a relign because they no longer fit well and are cutting my gums and making sores I was told I would have to pay for the relign but could not give me a price and that I needed to schedule an appointment for a checkup for 63.00, I asked what checkup was for as I do not have teeth, once I get in the chair then they can tell me how much the relign would be. Want your money but do not follow up with the lack of quality in their plates. Totally disappointed with this company. read more

Dr Jon is the BEST.ive gone to Aspen Dental in Indpls IN and got very good service and care so moving to FL i new where to go and this one is close..Josh helped me with all the paperwork and i got back in the same day for my filling and cleaning.my insurance pays 90% so im not out of pocket a lot..we had gone to our old dentist since 1974 so when he retired an Aspen Dental was right around the cornor..the Xray Tech is the BEST Ever..as well as the ladies at the front desk..i cant recommend this office and staff enough..i will continue to go there and again love Dr. Jon..he explained everything..what i needed and didint need..and he was very gentle...The lady that did my cleaning was the Best also...B.W. read more

i got fast service w hen my denture broke, but,they charged me $112for the repairafter telling memy insurance wouldn'tcover any of the cost, then they billed the insurance co. anyway i recieved my dentures back in a plastic bag without them checking the fit. two days later i wentback as my mouthbecame so sore i could not eat.they removed somematerial fr om the denture andsent me on my way. two days later i went back,as my mouth was extremely sore.instead of fixing the problem i was given a lecture by a so called dr.that the misfit was my problem and theycould not help me and said be on your way. never ever go there again! read more

I had decided to have implants after many years of hiding my smile. I chose to finance the entire procedure for a little more than $7k. There were multuple occasions where I went for a scheduled appt to be told that I needed to return AGAIN. I expected multiple appts due to the long process, but these repeat appointments were due mistakes in their end. I missed more time from work than I ever should have. The billing was also done with errors causing me to have a balance of over $600. I financed the procesure with everything included in the total. The office said that they would take care of the balance. Still, after multiple attempts to get the office to resolve the billing issue, it has not been resolved. Calls are not being returned like promised and zero sense of urgency. Today, I received a notice from a collection agency for the balance. I will now have to fight even harder to take care of this and my credit has been effected. I definitely would not recommend doing business with this office. read more

If I could give thIs place zero stars I would. It seems like they take your money and leave you out to dry. I went there for a bottom partial, when I got it it was great, (they sold me a pricer one) ok no problem, but in Less than a year one of the teeth fell out not once but twice. (Poor workmanship). Waited 2 weeks to get it back. Then they tell me I should get a different one it will be ready in 2 weeks( again) ok. They call me 2 days before my appt, to tell me oh no the tech made a mistake they made my appt. to soon. Come back in 4 weeks. I can almost guarantee you that my partial will not be ready in four weeks. I am so sick of this place. They are rude, don't care about how long they make you wait. I would not recommend anyone going to this place unless you don't want no teeth in your mouth for months at a time after you already paid over $4000 for your teeth. They are so quick to take your money but so slow and giving you the results you paid for. read more
