I ( a twenty-two year-old female ) am the older sister to my seventeen-year-old brother who had a routine cleaning. This was our first time here and my mother, who works full-time, asked me to take him to his appointment because she wasn't available to do so. She filled out all required paperwork and was told by the "office manager" that she would receive a document so that I could take him to his appointment with her approval. However, we were informed when pulling up to the building over the phone that we were not allowed to come to the appointment because I was not his legal guardian. I asked if my mother could give approval over the phone or fill out anything needed over the computer, considering she still hadn't received said document, so he could still attend his cleaning. With a very pompous and snarky attitude, she implied my mother was stupid and said she needs to fill out the paperwork in house. SHE WAS NEVER INFORMED ABOUT THIS PRIOR TO THE APPOINTMENT! My mother called the office to provide approval however necessary and the "office manager" laughed at her and belittled. Upon confronting hoping for some resolution in the office due to the extreme disrespect we faced, the "office manager" dismissed and embarrassed us once again offending our mother. This facility had potential for four new patients but lost us due to the actions of the "office manager" today. Don't expect to go here with questions or any confusion because you will be met with "mean girl" behavior.

My wife eventually scheduled an appointment for me and during the call mentioned my anxiety and reluctance to seek dental care. From the second I walked in the receptionist Tristan greeted me and could tell immediately I was the patient my wife called about. She has always been extremely kind, reassuring me that I am in good hands. She always ensures that I understand what treatment is being done and even checks in to see how I'm feeling emotionally before moving forward. Today I had to come in for a cleaning and my wife was at work resulting in heightened anxiety. Veronica talked me through each step before putting any tools near my face. She even educated me on ways to brush properly and was willing to talk to answer any questions I had during the cleaning. The cleaning lasted an hour but was honestly over before I knew it. I truly felt like Veronica was with me physically and emotionally every step of the way. Normally scheduling additional appointments with a dentist is stressful and difficult for me to commit to. But with this office, I found comfort in knowing that their office is where I'll be returning to. I trust the team working there and feel they have my best interest in mind. For example, I slightly struggled today with just a cleaning so Veronica was honest with me and advised that the next appointment would be more in-depth and anxiety-inducing. This staff doesn't just see me as a patient on the schedule, and I never feel embarrassed to ask questions or voice my concerns. Come to this office, you are in good hands with Dr Frenchman and his team!

After reading many reviews, I felt I had found the perfect office; "Seaside Smiles". I went and saw Dr. McCarty with full confidence and she completely let me down. I had a very small chip on the inside of my front left bottom tooth. She shaved it down to half of its normal size and it's also crooked/slanted. She said she had to due to my bite. However, my teeth have always been straight on the bottom and now they aren't. I've never had any dentist in my 40 years of life tell me that i have anything wrong with my bite. She decided to "polish" (or what I call shave down) several of my teeth without my permission and now my bottom teeth and my front top tooth are all different sizes. This was not apart of my treatment plan. I did not sign off on any of this. After I addressed my concerns to her, she offered to "fix" what she had done wrong. I told her that I did not trust her touching any of my teeth going forward. I went to the dentist to feel more confident about my smile and to make my teeth healthy. I left there feeling worse than I ever have about my teeth. I would never recommend anyone to this practice or to Dr. McCarty specifically. I am now having to seek out a cosmetic Dentist to fix everything she has done. Which I shouldn't have to do. This has been absolutely devastating for me; financially and emotionally. Also, fun little fact; they aren't even accredited with the Better Business Bureau!!!
