I'm one of those Baby Boomers who had a rough dentist growing up. He did teach me to take care of my teeth, because I dreaded my appointments. Fast forward to present day and my amazing experience with the team at Aspen Dental. They were so supportive and kind, I honestly think my dental phobia is behind me! Everyone there, is so warm and welcoming. Lots of beautiful smiles and laughter. I have never been to hygienist who is as gentle and thorough as Laura. Dr. Dulay laid out a great and comprehensive plan. I no longer dread the chair. The biz side of it is another asset. If I could give 0 or minus stars I would give -5 Worse Dental Office of all times. DO NOT GO TO ASPEN DENTAL IN ENGLEWOOD OR VENICE. Probably also all other locations. Had to call Charlotte County Sheriff (Deputy Sharp, badge # 3734 Case 2504-026299) to get the last procedure of my treatment done. Although I had prepaid the entire treatment, Taelor, Office Manager came up with an additional charge, which, she stated, had to be paid or no treatment would be performed. After I paid, I requested a receipt for my payment which I stated I had signed under duress, she loudly said NO and left the area. no treatment was offered until I called the Sheriff's Office. Aspen Dental, basically had me hostage after I had paid over $9K for implants. Taelor, at the Englewood office, and Lauren, previously of the Venice office where I started my saga must be graduates, with honors, from the Gestapo charm school. Their customer service is disgraceful, rude, unethical and totally unprofessional. They make up appointments for services you have not asked for and create imaginary additional charges. Bottom line, their only concern is the $$$ and will invent ways to get more from your pocket by fraudulently charging more. You have been forewarned. read more

I was shocked to find an unauthorized charge on my CareCredit account after my visit to Aspen Dental. At no point did I approve this charge, and when I reached out for an explanation, I was met with excuses and unhelpful responses. I walk in and ask how much is the cost JUST to clean my teeth. The dentist would need to do exam. I was Ok with and was told the first visit would be at N/C. After the Dentist examine my teeth . I needed $9,116.00 worth of dental work. All I wanted was cleaning ! Then came the hard sell ,three different people came into exam room pushing Credit Card ect. The second person reduce my cost to $7,101.25 The third person all most follow me out the door. It like buying a car on a sandlot Three people trying close the deal. Totally unprofessional Dental Group please don't waste your time going there unless you to waste 2 hours with high pressure sell approach. Typically Medicare pays an Orthopedic MD app $3500-4000 to perform a total hip. He will see you his office first then -2-3 visit after the surgery. His training take up to 10-12 years. My experience with the office manager checking out was just awful. She had an unwarranted attitude from the begging! When I just asked her a simple question she was very curt. Then she continued with the condescending tone while explaining the cost of the procedures that the doctor recommended. As she continued in the tone, I asked to see the doctor and let him know my experience. He didn't seem overly concerned. His service, and other staff, was good but I don't know if I want to deal with her attitude again. It was that off putting. After reading similar reviews I wonder why he keeps her. Are they related? Worst dental office around! The office manager is rude, argumentative, and extremely unprofessional! They tried to scam me into buying things and paying for products I don't need then tell you they won't clean your teeth. This is an awful place that my husband and I have since left. I had cleaning scheduled 8 AM. At 8:20 asked why am I still waiting? Was told X-ray person late. 10 minutes later still waiting, I left. Talked to So-called manager on phone 1 week later. Very rude and lied, saying they had emergency that day. # 1. Person behind desk too busy and uncaring. # 2. They took 3 other patients in while I was waiting. Can't even put into words how disgraceful this office is and customer service. My husband paid for everything up front even though Aspen Dental is in our dental insurance network. My husband decided against getting dentures which we were charged around $1,500.00 for and they won't refund the money to our credit card. This does not have anything to do with any claims on their system but tells us this is their way of handling things. My insurance company has tried to call the office many times to try and get the issue resolved but they refuse to return any calls. I would not recommend Aspen Dental to anyone!!! read more

Multiple red flags at this office. The office manager was extremely rude and very argumentative. The procedure was not explained and when asked she was very rude with the presentation like it was a bother. She was more concerned/focused on the $$. I had to call the office day before and ask about the medication that was supposed to be sent to the pharmacy. They had not received it yet. She said " there is an additional fee for this and there was no documentation that I spoke with the doctor regarding this. she would have to contact him" He admitted to leaving that out of his note and to call it in to the pharmacy. I had to drive to the office at 5 pm the day prior to sign the paperwork. I was charged over $300 dollars to send a prescription to the pharmacy in which I had to pay for again at the pharmacy. This was for the sedation, day of and night prior, for a tooth extraction. Very shady, collected 1500 dollars from my finance company prior to procedure/care even being provided. In which they would not reimburse until they received payment from my insurance plan for the initial exam. I still have not received the out of pocket fee I was charged either for initial payment of 150 dollars for the procedure still not performed. When addressed with office manager she became very unprofessional and argumentative. I would never recommend this facility to anyone. I hope this saves someone else from the stress and $$. I never leave reviews but this was something that I feel horrible about not sharing. Dental care is important and very hard to find good care. We don't need to be deceived or treated with poor care when it comes to our health and money. Hope this helps someone in the future. read more
