My extraction was just unreal - honestly, I did not even realize she had pulled the tooth, which was a second molar on the top. She gave me novocaine because she didn't anticipate any issues and explained with general anesthesia it would cost a lot more. I'm grateful for her honesty. On top of the painless extraction I had minimal bleeding (I mean, I did not even need any gauze beyond the piece they had put in my mouth after the extraction!). I also had four implants done by Dr. Overbeck with little to no discomfort AT ALL and again, minimal bleeding beyond the surgical procedure. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking oral surgery treatment. There is another female oral surgeon in this county who is barbaric, by the way. I won't post her name here, but trust me -- stick with Dr. Overbeck!!

Although I had prepaid the entire treatment, Taelor, Office Manager came up with an additional charge, which, she stated, had to be paid or no treatment would be performed. After I paid, I requested a receipt for my payment which I stated I had signed under duress, she loudly said NO and left the area. no treatment was offered until I called the Sheriff's Office. Aspen Dental, basically had me hostage after I had paid over $9K for implants. Taelor, at the Englewood office, and Lauren, previously of the Venice office where I started my saga must be graduates, with honors, from the Gestapo charm school. Their customer service is disgraceful, rude, unethical and totally unprofessional. They make up appointments for services you have not asked for and create imaginary additional charges. Bottom line, their only concern is the $$$ and will invent ways to get more from your pocket by fraudulently charging more. You have been forewarned.

I was under the impression…read morethat this practice offers comprehensive dental services only to find out I was being referred to an out of network periodontist an hour away in Sarasota for evaluation. They didn't even clean my teeth! I have only 15 teeth to be evaluated since the remainder are implants. At age 72, I am interested in health and function as I explained to them and I am not interested in seeing a periodontist an hour away at my expense. This was a waste of my time and Aetnas money. I give one star for the assistant who was professional and efficient.
