The staff was professional and punctual--my appointment started right on time. I truly have the best dentist and dental hygienist in town, Dr. Meza and Paula. They are both very compassionate about what they do. I had my deep cleaning done by Paula, and she was just awesome! She made me feel comfortable the entire time and treated me so well. I hadn't had my teeth done in over 6 years due to a previous bad experience, but I finally found the right place at last. Thank you, Dr. Meza, and especially Paula--the best dental hygienist! BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! They signed me up for an "annual plan" that I was not informed of ONE YEAR AGO, and one year later I'm billed again and am UNABLE to get this reversed. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- One year ago, I went in to get an estimate for some dental work. Dentist looked at my mouth (look/see) and the office provided a written estimate. I paid them for those services on my credit card or so I thought that's what I was paying for. They only gave me a copy of the estimate. No other paperwork was given to me to take home. I chose NOT to go back as their estimate of work to be done was not affordable and not in line with what I had originally asked them for. Haven't seen them since and found a new dentist right after that first visit. ONE YEAR LATER I'm MAGICALLY billed again automatically on the credit card i used for the one-time visit .. . billed for an 'ANNUAL DENTAL PLAN" of $49 for which I had no idea they signed me up for. I have been unable to get this charge reversed off my card, as Aspen denied my dispute. After a long discussion today with my credit card company, I will be filing a deceptive practice letter with several consumer advocacy agencies and the American Dental Association and the BBB. This is a very underhanded way to do business. read more

Please don't try this place! Terrible billing practices. I went in for a routing visit this year and was told that I needed to have some additional work done. They wanted me to use in-house financing but instead I said I'd take a loan out of my 401k and my insurance was supposed to cover the rest of the bill. I later paid $1886 and had a balance of $0. They did the work over the course of two months. Then during month 3 I received a bill for around $1,300. Apparently all of the dentists in the office don't accept my insurance but I'm not sure why they would put me with a doctor who doesnt accept the insurance I have. The next month I received a bill for $1700. Then last month they sent a bill for $2500. I emailed their billing department with copies of the contract I signed that shows I paid $1886. Yet they are still saying I owe $2500. Please do not give this place a chance. They seemed nice initially but they have deceptive billing practices. I will never go back to this office again. I've always heard to not go to these type of chain dentist offices. Now I know why. ******* As of 11/7/2025 my bill has still not been adjusted. I sent Aspen Dental the original contract as well as my payment history and nothing has been done to rectify the situation. It seems like this greedy company thinks it can charge its customers whatever amount it wants even with a signed contract. I will never step foot in another Aspen Dental office again. 1st off they charged my mother for 12,000 of work & she still has only temp dentures. Multiple adjustments are needed. Because my mom had to have all her teeth pulled, she hasn't eaten since November, she has lost a significant amount of weight due to having no teeth, & the inability to eat. She has been in multiple times with zero resolution. I will be going there in person myself to figure out the holdup. Considering my mom's temperament & multiple hospitalizations due to malnutrition as a result of the continued neglect, you'd think they'd compliment her the screw ins which they should of offered her in the 1st place. Nope an additional charge. Thousands more. I wish my mother had consulted with me 1st, now she has balance & memory issues is under 80 lbs in weight. All thanks to Aspen. I'm looking for an attorney to sue Aspen as we speak. My mother is paying 350 a month since November for some temporary dentures, 12k in debt with no perms or screw ins????? Total rip-off, poor quality of service, poor continuity of care. Over-charged, & terrible. You will ne seeing me in person this week, & complaints will be filed with any & everybody from bbb to social media sites, to the state, to the county. I do not play about my mom, not 1 bit. I have not been to a dentist in 20 years due to a phobia of the dentist. I let the staff know, and they were very nice. I felt comfortable the whole time. I went in for a broken tooth, and they let me know all the work I would need done on the rest of my teeth in a non-judgemental manner. The only downside was that they did not have the ability to offer laughing gas or another sedative. I will be going here for all my upcoming dental work! read more

holy crap, I was horrified when they showed me the price to have my dental work completed. $37K ridiculous when I noticed right off the top all the hidden charges for procedures that I never requested. If I wouldn't have noticed them it could have added up into a 10's of thousands. Where I come from, a dentist does the best he can to help a patient in an emergency situation: if someone needs a denture to attend an event, the dentist simply provides that denture and will phase in other work later as the patient can afford it. I was told at your store that I COULD NOT receive a new denture unless I purchased three crown cap fillings first FOR $11,000 leaving me to have to attend one of the most important events of my life with no tooth, therefore forced to face humiliation. Further, I was asked to pay $2400 for a single tooth partial denture when the last one I had made cost me just $300 -- that's a lot more than just inflation -it's robbery. Your business is more like a used car dealership, with pressure, strong-arm tactics, and manipulation to convince poor working people to get deeply into debt for what are mostly expensive cosmetic treatments. It is a shameful business to scare individuals into thinking they will be humiliated by not getting a denture to replace a missing tooth unless they pay for more expensive treatment first. I think you are shameful predatory profiteers taking advantage of desperate people. read more

I would not recommend ever! Arrived on time on 25APR2023 for my appointment and there is a paper taped to the door that they're closed for the day because their systems are down. I get your systems are down, you can still contact patients as you still have us/them fill out about 10 forms when we arrive. I had surgery scheduled for today, 27APR2023, and once again, they could not reach out to me to reschedule, however their office is open this time. Another note posted on the door that they can't reach out to people because they don't have the information. I have taken a LOT of time off already to get this done, but of course that did not happen. I'm expecting a class action to come out of this for the amount of down time that Aspen across the nation has experienced. They assure us that no PII was taken, but I doubt that read more

The Hygienist and X-Ray personnel were kind and informative but the Dentist needs to be retrained on empathy and providing patient care with a human touch. I made an urgent appointment because I had a severe toothache. All the prep work and other personnel were fine but when the Dentist came in, she explained a few things, checked my teeth, went back to her computer and said to me that she can fit me in today to extract 2 tooth. That was a pretty abrupt news as losing not 1 but 2 teeth; there were no mention of options (or lack of), no next steps once the teeth were extracted such as referral for implants or anything. It felt like she was more interested in pulling teeth to meet a quota. I understand that it is one's own fault for letting the tooth get to its condition that it is but that's why Dentist exist; to help guide and fix when needed. We are not sharks, once our adult teeth are out, they are out forever. She needs to learn how to empathize with patients, provide options (if any), provide possible next steps, and needs to view a person as a person; not just a set of teeth. With her lack of patient care, I decided not to move forward with my extraction as I had a feeling I would be left having to discover next action items by myself with little to no guidance. And I am glad I did. To top it all off, I was told that my medication was sent to the pharmacy of my choice. I had to call 4 times for the facility to send my anti-biotics to my pharmacy. No painkillers were prescribed as she had mentioned them during my visit, but at the very least the more important medicine was the Amoxicillin. This will at least buy me some time to find a new Dental facility. Nice and clean place. Fast service ... but fast service doesn't always mean great quality. Everything felt rushed. The hygienist even snipped some of my gum while getting x-rays. I wasn't exactly pleased with the way the insurance/billing lady went about trying to get me to agree to to their recommended services. I wanted to use my dental benefits before the end of the year. Was looking for a basic check up and cleaning. Apparently the hygienist recommended gum treatment. When I spoke to the billing lady we discussed payment options of $1000 plus. It was outside of my budget and I told her I really was just looking to get a teeth cleaning. She told me that the cleaning can't be done without the gum treatment and that it's typically done as a bundle. I'm not sure if she's aware that what she's advertising is illegal. I I've gone to the dentist before.... I know how my dental benefits work too... I also work in the health field myself so I'm not sure why she thinks the only option for a patient is what the provider recommended.. I can just get a simple cleaning if I wanted and my insurance would have covered it 100%. I didn't want to be a Karen so I paid $300+ to get gum treatment all because supposedly they couldn't give me a teeth cleaning without that 2nd part. The lady also told me that my gum treatment would have to be split into 2 different appointments bc they'd have to send me home with an antimicrobial gum treatment to which I was supposed to use for 2 weeks and return. She said the total $300+ covers both appointments. Today I return for the 2nd appointment and they told me I had to pay an extra $40 and that according to her notes, she had informed me of this at our first appintment. The gum "antimicrobial" treatment by the way wasn't anything special. It was just a bottle of fluoride. Nothing toothpaste isn't already doing. I will not be returning. read more

I called today to make appointment and the female didn't seem to want me to come. Said she would call back after talking with a doctor. Found this dentist office through my insurance carrier and I couldn't be happier. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about their craft. After my last couple dentists were terrible it has been a breath of fresh air to find not just one but a whole office of caring professionals. I absolutely loved my first visit here. The staff from the front to the back are so sweet and helpful. I had a root canal done and we all know they are so uncomfortable and it could be scary. But when I tell you I was so relaxed from beginning to end I almost fell asleep. I was so so relaxed and didn't fell a thing. Diffently going back and my family will be new patients as well. I was having pain Sunday April 4th so i decided to make an appointment online with this place. I arrived and everyone seemed nice enough. I was taken back for x rays and described what was going on. I was told that i was fine within 5 minutes of being seen by the dentist. This place proceeded to find 4,500$ worth of unrelated problems with my teeth. These included a 200$ electric tooth brush and a ridiculous priced fluoride mouth rinse. Fast forward to Wednesday I'm still not getting better and am seen again by these people and told I will feel better after they CLEAN MY GUMS with a metal pick which made this infection spread and get worse! Again fast forward to Friday. My face looks like I have been punched by Mike Tyson no exaggeration. I contacted another dentist and was referred to an oral surgeon and had to have EMERGENCY SURGERY on my mouth to drain an infection that now was becoming a potentially life changing problem for me. Long story short avoid this place at all costs, if I wouldn't have gotten into the oral surgeon on Friday I may not have made it through the weekend read more
