Wow do not go here what ever you do. There was a simple extraction I went in for planned not emergent. The dentist rushed himself and knocked the root of my tooth into my sinus. Ok mistakes happen. They give me the surgeon to go to. I went in on Saturday mind you so they won't be open until Monday. So I go in Monday and the dollar amount comes out and they refuse and asked me to come in Tuesday (tomorrow) to have their"owner dentist" to look at me. Instead of paying the 5k to take care of their mistake they wanna pull this crap. Do not go here do not go here. I went to Aspen Dental to get a cleaning which I hadn't had done in over 10 years. Well, much to my amazement, the dental hygienist, that did the cleaning was superb. No pain, just shiny teeth! The personnel there are exceptional from the person at the front desk to the hygienist, to the dentists themselves. Called to reschedule an appointment i missed, granted i have had so many other dental appointments from specialty clinics that i completely spaced this appointment. When calling to reschedule the receptionist was very aggressive and asking how could i have missed my appointment if they sent me voicemails and texts( which i didn't receive?) she said this in an aggressive tone then when confirming my phone number i didn't hear the first half and when confirming it again she repeated it very aggressively and i didn't feel comfortable going to this dentist so i cancelled. I have not only dental anxiety but also phone anxiety so this made me not want to go. Went in for a first appointment to get x-rays and cleaning. Had some issues with sensitivity. Received a cleaning which seemed to go great. Had some cavities taken care of which made things much worse. Went back for a follow-up and was told the work didn't stick and I would need to go back in for repairs. When scheduling the next appointment I was told I was being billed for the visit to figure out what was wrong with the repair they did. I told them why would I pay for a follow-up that was needed due to them doing a bad job on the repair. She told me it was okay because it would be covered by my insurance company and it was their policy to charge for visits like mine. Very shady company and practices. I went in to get my front tooth fixed that got broken out months earlier well when I went in there and did the x rays they said I needed all my teeth pulled and get dentures even though I never com of tooth pain or didn't have a bunch of broken teeth they were perfect but I had no troubles with eating or anything I just had the 1 front tooth knocked out and I wanted it replaced so I could loo like a respectable person but now I'm 32 with no teeth and dentures that don't fit I think a class action lawsuit needs to b filed again because they basically ruined my life so thanks aspen dental for ruining a young man's life I hope everyone there gets the karma they got coming to them read more

Both me and my wife went to delta dental and got our teeth checked. They took x-rays and check our teeth. They told both off us that we needed to get $1800 of work done to our teeth before they would give us a general cleaning. When i asked just for a cleaning they refused. I paid them $44 for both me and my wife's first visit. I got a bill for $22 the next month. I sent them a photo copy of my check that was cashed by them. I've been doing the ring around the roses with these people for 2 month. I finally sent them another check for $22 so they wouldn't turn me into a collection agency. I went in to have an evaluation for a tooth implant and they did do all the x-rays and whatever was necessary to do that evaluation however I don't think they read a word that was on my inpatient intake form as they were not familiar at all with any medical conditions or medication's that I was on I ended up going back the next day to get three fillings done and it was a very unpleasant experience and I was so unhappy with it that I am moving on to another dentist that's in my plan. I don't recommend them they seem to do good work but not friendly or forthcoming with detailed information about my Dental needs. read more

everything seemed nice at first, when I got to the back it was dirty, the dr and staff were quiet mostly they tried giving me the same brochure twice for something I didn't need, then when we sat down to discuss payment plans they added a bunch of stuff on my bill that I didn't approve or even ask for, I told them no to running my credit for the part I actually wanted and david immediately seemed visually annoyed, the option for me earlier on was antibiotic' once I told them I couldn't run my credit or afford an out of pocket 600 payment they said they were unwilling to help me with anything else including even giving me antibiotics to help with my infection since I didn't want to run my credit to afford the other procedure. they were rude the rest of the appointment so I left and went to tcch read more

So I called and got prices for dentures. They were the most expencive in tri cities by about $150. I told them I could not afford their prices. So they offer me a "coupon" that got the price in the range I could afford. When I got there however I found that it was not a coupon and that they just give you cheap crappy set of dentures. They bold faced lied to me and wasted my time from work so they could do a bait and switch. They are liars and will try to use a supposed coupon just to try and up sale you. They are the most expencive place in town and their business practices are shakey at best. Avoid them if you want affordable dentistry and honest people. I became a patient of Aspen Dental in Kennewick WA very recently, my first appointment consisted of x rays and an exam from the hygienist as well as the Dr. My first complaint is they explained nothing to me but sent me into the "office managers" office to go over cost of my treatment plan. First of all she was dressed in a black shirt with an opening for her cleavage, black skin tight jeans, and knee high boots. I find that attire to be highly inappropriate. Anyway, she was typing away and I asked if I had any cavities? She answered very condescending with "you have 6". Why was that not communicated to me by the Dr.? I made an appointment with the hygienist and received a deep cleaning. She was over 15 minutes late and I was her first customer of the day. I had a gut feeling then to never come back. Before the cleaning took place the Dr. referred me to see a specialist for a fractured tooth, I called the specialist and they would not see me because my insurance wouldn't cover it. I did not once receive a follow up on that referral. Whether I made an appointment, whether the area was bothering me, nothing. I made an appointment to take care of a few of my cavities. For the last 3 days I've been having complications with the fractured tooth. I called and left a message for them to call me as soon as they could. I didn't receive word so I called this and I got attitude stating they just got into the office and couldn't understand what I even said. I left that message with my husband in the room and there was no way it could have gone misunderstood. And even if the message was hard to understand my full name and phone number was not. I then explained my situation and she said she can't help me the earliest they could see me was in 6 days. Does she not have the competence to see I had a sooner appointment? I then asked what I was supposed to do, was I supposed to be in pain until Tuesday. She said I don't know maybe you should call another dentist. So I did. I called a dentist and he saw me two hours after I called. He took one look at the X-ray and stated there was no way the tooth could have ever been saved and I had an infection. I'm wondering if the Dr. at Aspen Dental is so inept she should even be in that position. Two hours after he examined me we had to pull the tooth. So I'm sitting here with a full blown infection and a pulled tooth. I feel this could have been completely avoided or handled sooner if the Dr. at Aspen Dental would have communicated and or known her job. The non communication, the un professionalism, the rude behavior, and the lack of properly taking care of a patient I feel should somehow be addressed. This all could have ended up way worse or could have been handled with professionalism and handled much much sooner. My new dentist stated he would have never sent me to a specialist, he handled it with the greatest care...himself. I'm extremely appalled that such a business exists. read more

About five years ago, I had my teeth extracted, and had upper dentures and partials put in...I was petrified but Dr. Sood put me at ease!! Right away I was very comfortable and Aspen Dental made me feel welcomed!! I got good service BUT: the upper dentures is starting to be a problem here. I guess in time your gums adjust, and I might have to get new upper dentures and new partials. Anyway.....Dr. Sood was the best. The last three years of my health has not been good , I have MS and I had two strokes and I'm in a wheel chair now, but plan to go back to Dr. Sood soon for my check up. I would recommend Aspen, let the nay sayers say what they want,,,Dr. Sood helped me get over my anxiety and panic attacks quickly, and I now like going to the dentist!!! read more

I moved to the Tri Cities and like most, wanted dental care. I made an appt for my wife and I. At our appt, they immediately took both of us for x-rays, then a simple visual examination. From there we were escorted into the Office Managers Office. Mind you, both me and my wife have good dental insurance. The OM was only interested in advising us of the cost we will incur for cleaning, etc. I reminded him that we both work full time and have good insurance. The OM's only concern was that we pay for service ahead of further cleaning. I felt like we were sent to the Principals office for a lecture. The OM also told us we needed to make appt's for our cleaning. I told him that is why we made appt's that day. I did not make an appt for x-rays only. I told the OM I was new in town and planned to find a different dentist. Until Aspen fixes their customer service, I advise everyone to go elsewhere. read more

This was the worst dental experience of my life. I told the oral surgeon that I'd need a lot of numbing for my wisdom teeth extracting; I've had a root canal and I needed a lot for that. Dr Doyle didn't seem to listen. I felt him drilling and yanking my wisdom teeth out. I was crying and making noise trying to let them know it hurt but he just kept going. He seemed annoyed and in a hurry. Do you know how it feels to have your teeth yanked out without enough numbing? This was horrible. read more

Awful customer service!!! Should had read the reviews before even scheduling. Receive a call an hour before my appointment asking what time did they confirm my appointment for. I let them know 5:15 but I'm 10min away can come now. Was told great. Arrive at 4:30 thinking I was going to be seen early. Other people arrive and go back as I continue to wait. Figured ok I must had misunderstood call. 5:15 comes around and not one staff member has said anything to me. But figure we'll my appointment was scheduled at 5:15, then 5:30,5:45 still nothing said to be by a staff member. Finally at 6:00 I just got up and left. Been 30mins since I had left you would figure someone would call. Haven't heard anything. Probably don't even realize I left yet. Especially since they seemed more interested in talking about there upcoming Christmas party on the 27th and if it included staff. Definitely won't be going back and will be getting my husbands records sent elsewhere since he has his initial visit earlier in week, he had very similar experience and I should had taken his word then and found a new place. read more

very poor service Would never recommend The Kennewick office to anyone. I went in to check on having an upper denture and a bottom partial '. the dentist read my xrays and told me my bottom teeth were decaying from inside out and that they also needed extracted, I said "I've never heard of that," She informed me that it sometimes happens. I told her I had xrays two weeks ago and they were fine. Impressions were taken of upper and lower teeth, Five days later I was called that my dentures were ready and to come in for further dental work. I was surprised the denture was done so quickly because we had not discussed anything concerning what I wanted in a denture. The dentist proceeded to do the necessary things for extracting the teeth. she extracted the teeth , inserted the denture, removed it and scraped on, fit it in again and removed it a second time, fitted it and removed it again. After a half hour of fitting it shinserted the denture and told me to watch for bleeding but do not remove the denture but come in the office. She left the room, her assistant did the necessary clean up, gave me a bag of dental stuff and sent me on my way. When I go home and looked in the mirror, I was shocked at the denture. It reminded me of "rabbit teeth". I went back the next morning with a picture of me before extractions and she said"well. you didn't show me this before we made the dentures." I said "You are the dentist and supposed to tell me what you needed.' After four months of trying to get this problem fixed with no response from the except to say "we're sorry you aren't satisfied", I then went to a denturist in January to get proper dentures made. Finally the end of March, I got a call from Aspen 's office manager and he said it was time to come in and get my permanent denture. I told him of my experience and that I would never recomment Aspen to anyone and I hung up. Even though the area manager told me in October to give him a call after I had my new dentures and they would make the bill right with me, I am still being billed 2400 dollars because they said I had not contacted them to have corrections made. I had been in the Kennewick office four times to get the bill straight and I never got a response'. I guess I have to get a lawyer now to settle this account as I am not paying for services I did not get. read more

My wife and I went to Aspen Dental as new patients for basic x-rays and cleanings. We finally had insurance again through Costco and are both retired. After the x-rays and exam I was refused to have a basic cleaning. They wanted me to come back two more times to do a more thorough and expensive procedure that they divide up into four quadrants. 88 bucks a quadrant times 4. Plus two separate co pay office charges because they refuse to do it in one visit. All I wanted was a basic 20 dollar cleaning. I have never been to a dental office where the patient was refused a cleaning because of the almighty dollar they want to get out of you. After the exam they take you into an office where they go over the costs of their recommendations. $3473.00 after insurance for me and $1883 after insurance for my wife. If you want a dental provider that will only do what they want to do then Aspen is for you. If you want one that will provide the services that you want then I would look elsewhere. I love that they offer several ways for patients to pay for the work they need. I would recommend the Kennewick office hands down! Recently I went to my dentist with a sore tooth. He said that my tooth was ok but that I need a "deep cleaning" ($840) and some additional dental work ($2500). I didn't have dental insurance and thought that I should look into getting some. I got on line and found a dental discount plan called Careington care 500 thru a website called 1 Dental.com. It's not insurance. It's a discount plan that dentists are contracted with. There they agree to set prices at 20%-60% off the normal cost. A full year with no limits costs $75 plus $20 p.h. This was perfect! Aspen dental was one of the providers who's new patients were given a free exam and X-rays and a written estimate of what needed to be done. I called and they got me in the very next day. The exam was very informative and they took a total of 20 X-Rays. With the discount plan rates the estimate came to $81 for a periodontal maintenance cleaning and $133 for a two surface resin filling. Wow! That was so much better than my previous dentist's $3340! And when I had my teeth cleaned, Luyba, the hygienist did an incredible job! She used a numbing rinse because I have sensitive teeth and gums and there was no pain or discomfort at all. My smile is brite and shiny and I am really impressed with their care and service. Now I can afford to go to the dentist on a regular basis and I've found an excellent one to go to, Aspen dental in kennewick. read more
