I originally was pleased. Had bad teeth pulled. Also had a partial made for 2 teeth. It never fit right was very hard to get in. I just don't like complaining so said nothing. While on an airplane I had to take them out and put in a tissue. Yes I lost them. Well I had a teeth cleaning appointment so I asked on phone if they could also fit me for my teeth. Juan says they don't do that and will refer me elsewhere! WHAT? How long has this been policy. He says year year half. Hmmm I've only had mine for about 8 months!! So I asked him how I got my teeth then? No answer!!!! I originally went there because they did it all! So cancelled my appointment!! This is absolutely insane! Never ever will I go back! They were very nice in the beginning when you're spending all your money but I guess down the road they couldn't care less!! read more

I started going to Grandridge Dental because my husband goes there. They have always been friendly and helpful...until recently. My husband spent 2 weeks in ICU at Harborview and returned home 2 weeks ago. I rescheduled his appointment for May 20 at 11:30 with the gentleman at the reception desk. I wrote it down on my special calendar as I have to keep track of his many appointments. We received a call on April 21 for a reminder for an appointment on April 22. He didn't have an appointment for this date that we were aware of. Please make sure your reception staff know how to schedule appointments correctly. I don't like to go to the dentist in the first place and this experience just left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

I will never go back or recommend this place to anyone! My son and my daughter had tooth pain that needed to be checked out and I was over due for my cleaning so I made appointments for all three of us. We were also looking for a dentist to do the extensive dental work on my husband that he needs done. Due to bad past experiences, he has horrible anxiety when it comes to dental work. All three of us went for cleanings. My son needed two root canals and some preventative fillings done, my daughter had a bad cavity and needed some preventative fillings while i just needed some preventative fillings. We had an in depth conversation with the person who does the insurance about how to set up getting all the work done so that we would get the most out of our coverage. My daughter would have the tooth that was hurting done first and the others at another appointment, I was going to get the preventative fillings done on one side of my mouth and the other side of my mouth at another appt., and my son would be getting one root canal done in one appt. and the other done later when he was home on break from college. Long story short, my daughter and I have been dealing with tooth sensitivity (which we did not have before) but only on the teeth the doctor worked on. When my son went in for his first root canal, they decided to do both root canals that day. Nobody informed me of this until the end of the appt. when we went to pay. They happily announced that they decided to go ahead and do it because they were already in there and decided the tooth was bad enough to do so. OK. Fine. BUT NOBODY TALKED TO US ABOUT IT! They just went ahead and did it. My stomach dropped because I knew our insurance wasn't going to cover the second one.​ Well, three months later we get a bill for almost $1500 that says it's past due and they were threatening collections. I called, they said they would call back. Nobody did. This happened three times. A couple months go by and we get another bill that says final notice and says we will be sent to collections. Not wanting to get the phone run around again, I went to the office in person. Got a story about having temporary help and they messed it up and then they realized they had the wrong phone number in their system for me but the sticky note on their paperwork had my correct number? I got a run around about how all of their stuff says we were doing two root canals. Yet, they can't explain why my son and I both were told he was only getting one? Then they tell us that our insurances didn't cover nearly as much as they had thought it would. The lady said she was going to talk to the doctor and call me back by 5 the next day. They finally called back today.......three days later. I was informed that, basically, they are right and my son and I are liars. As a side note, why is it that when my son and daughter go for a cleaning they get a free water pick and a free electric toothbrush but when I go (the one paying the bill and carrying the insurance?) I get nothing? Our experiences were to feel out the dentist and his office to see if it was a place for my husband to get extensive work done. They failed miserably! We have not been back for the rest of the "preventative" care and are still dealing with temperature sensitivity in all the teeth that were worked on and I'm out $1500. read more

You need to not have your Account Manager Jo lie to Patients.I was told that I would be getting immediate temporary Dentures during my process.She turns into not so nice person once I paid for my procedure.I had Nerve Damage and Dr.Morgan only gave me 3 laser treatments and then I asked when I told him the quality of the top denture was hhorrible and I tried to tell him what Jo did he didn't want to hear it.I asked about my nerve damage he said he will fix it.He blew me off but did get me a new top dedenture.I wrote to him about what Jo did and I said that I did not want to see her ever again.When I came in for my last appointment there she was and I kept saying I didn't want to talk to her.I felt obligated to say yes to talking to them.Dr.Morgan anf and Jo used gas lighting words.Like we Love you and see what we did for you and let's start fresh.I felt uncomfortable and said whatever to get out of there.I wrote a 3rd letter and requested a refund.Dr.Morgan used well you said you would come back and it is in my Notes.He already read twice that they cornered me and I had to say anything to get out of his office.I lost trust in Dr.Morgan.His other Staff are great not Jo or Dr.Morgan.Plus I got charged for something that was already paid for.for.further sent a charge to AFLAC.I called them and told them I wasn't supposed to be charged for new denture fitting. read more

I am so pleased with my new smile. My teeth have never been white but were nice and straight in my younger days. Over the years they got quite dingy looking so I went to see Dr Morgan at Grandridge Dental. I love, love, love what he did. I no longer cover my mouth when laughing and am smiling a lot bigger now. I considered going out of country for this work but decided to keep the money our community. So glad that I did. Oh, and if he does any work for you, ask for the pills. I feel like I have been their guinea pig for the last 3 and a half years. I have implanted dentures and have never had a good fit. The one upper one I thought was going to be was glued in because she decided I had to have longer locators put in, which I didn't think I needed. My bottom one was also previously glued in. After they drilled out my upper plate, it was not put back together correctly. I told her it was not right but she just blew it off and didn't put it in her notes. I also spoke to the manager but nothing came of it. I have not been going out alot because I am afraid I will embarrass myself when trying to talk to people. In my opinion, it doesn't matter how many thousands of dollars you spend as long as it doesn't come out of their pockets. I have to use dentures adhesive in my implanted dentures to keep them in. Now I have to come up with more money to find someone else to fix the problem. read more

went in for a implant, i have such anxiety, waited 30 years to do this and the staff was great with me, very caring and alls i felt was the needle, but barely, they gave me gas, but i could have been sedated if i needed it, soreness after implant, yep i saw complaints listed, but i felt that way with westside dental that everyone raves about, i think all dentists try to crown all your teeth...ive seen 3 different dentists in the last 3 years here and grandridge so far ive gotten the best treatment from...think ill stick with them... read more

I typically don't write bad business reviews. Only when it is absolutely in the public's best interest to know. This case is no exception. And I will be copying and pasting across the internet so that all are aware. This morning I had a dentist appointment with my wonderful new dentist here in Kirkland. It was wonderful because, after 8 years, all of the work Grandridge Dental did to ruin my teeth has finally been corrected! 8...years...later. When I was 22 (single, jobless and pregnant, mind you) I visited Grandridge Dental because my dentist had died and it was time for a check-up. I had never had a cavity at this point. Not one. I was told that I needed to have 9 "preventative fillings" done, because I was "starting to form cavities". Being the naive 22 year old dumb dumb that I was, I obliged. I came back about a week later and had 9 holes drilled into my teeth. Not long after, the fillings started falling out. Yes, you read that right. The fillings fell out. Not one, ALL of them! The first one abscessed. Because of this, I got to experience my first ever (but not last) root canal! How fun. I would have went back to Grandridge to have it corrected, you see, but my brother and mother had also gone there, had "preventative fillings" done, and had them fall out. I immediately knew what happened and went to a real dentist. This was the last straw for my family. We demanded our dental records from Grandridge... except... what's this?! They conveniently "lost" all three of our dental records! Now you tell me that isn't suspicious. So, I went from never having one cavity ever in my entire life, to having 9 "preventative fillings" that resulted in four root canals (two on each tooth), two crowns, nine new fillings, and three different dentists confirming that this was the shoddiest and most suspicious dental work they had ever seen. So, I'm gonna have to say I recommend you pass on this dentist. And if you have experienced something similar here (like I have seen others have stated below) please feel free to contact me. It's amazing to me that no one has brought a class action against these people yet. read more

Don't let the radio ads fool you! This dental company is absolutely terrible. Between scheduling issues, giving me unnecessary procedures and charging me and then messing up my insurance. The staff at Grandridge Dental has been very good to me over the last few years. They always remember me and love to check in and see how I'm doing. Horrible horrible place! My mom and I both have had bad experiences with them. She got her teeth whitened and they burnt her mouth. I had a filling done on my front tooth that fell off in a month. Granted they did say it was temporary, but for the last 7 years I have had the same thing before that one got hit out by an elbow. They want me to do a crown instead but it would cost me $500 after insurance. They are horrible and over priced. read more

Not impressed with any of their services. First day I went in specifically asking for a cleaning and they told me all they had time for was X-rays. I was adamant that they should not have even scheduled me if they weren't going to provide the service I asked for. They finally agreed to do the cleaning and it was perfunctory at best. Maybe spent 7 minutes doing a cleaning, which has certainly never been my experience at any other dentist. Not thorough at all. They squeezed in 4 X-rays and decided I had 4 cavities and charged me 800 for them, of which my insurance only covered half of. There wasn't even a discussion about types of fillings or why my insurance wouldn't cover the full 80%. To make things even better the dentist didn't even do the fillings, his assistant did. He was only in the room for 20 minutes to drill my teeth. Will not EVER be going back there. UPDATE: two of the fillings are broken! Now I have to pay another 300 to get them fixed. Awful. I've religiously gone to the dentist every 6 months for most of my life and never have I had an experience that made me doubt a practice's integrity until now. read more

I am a true dental phobe. It takes all I can do to force myself to go to the dentist every 6 months (they'd like to see me every 4, but that ain't gonna happen--no dental insurance). I've been coming here for 5 or so years, and I've always found the staff to be friendly, concerned, helpful, pleasant. Having no dental insurance, I pay as I go, so have never had problems with billing. If a procedure is scheduled, they always let me know, ahead of time and in writing, what it will cost me. As a white-knuckle patient, I find this clinic and the staff to be about as good as they come. read more

Yes, DO NOT LET THE ADDS ON THE RADIO FOOL YOU! I went there needing to be seen for an abscess tooth and ended up paying $2,500 within 3 days. I do not have insurance so I had to pay cash. I did NOT get the "FREE" bleaching kit or sonicare toothbrush, NOR did they clean my teeth. I was disappointed, even when I asked about this they told me that I had to pay an additional 300 dollars!! I was like wth? Who really comes up with $2,500 in 3 days? I did and was expecting BETTER service. I should have did some research before choosing a dentist but it was an emergency. Oh and they really scheduled me for a cleaning and an appt to talk about bleaching kits. I thought this is why I payed $350 the first visit? SMH... I DO NOT recommend Grandridge Dental. read more

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I feel this place does unnecessary dental work to gouge our insurance companies and us clients. I am almost 50 and had only 2 cavities in my adult life. My dentist stopped accepting my insurance so I heard the radio ads and someone knew someone that went here so the family started going. I went three times 2 of those visits I was told I needed dental work. The dentist told me I had a cracked tooth all the way around and it would break off if I didn't fix it. I was told it would take 2 hours so I planned it and when was done in 1/2 hour I was surprised. He drilled for a few minutes and then threw his tools down, threw his arms in the air like he'd just made a touchdown and walked out. Someone else I assume was the hygienist that was in there with him put the filling in. I was not aware hygienists' did this and they were not introduced nor was I even informed anyone other than the dentist would be doing the work. And yes you read right it was a filling they put in. When I asked, they said it wasn't cracked after all so they just put a filling in! I went back to my old dentist that I had had for years and they took a look at the new fillings and said they were not necessary. They were spots that they had been watching but some dentists are more aggressive about putting fillings in. My stepdaughter called one day as she needed emergency dental work and they are not open after hours so she asked for her records to be transferred to another dental office that is open after hours. She got nothing but grief from the receptionist for it even when she told her it was only going to be for one visit that she needed after hours as she could not take time off work. read more

THIS IS THE WORST PRACTICE EVER!!! I had horrible service, and they screwed up my crown, but in doing so my tooth became infected. I then needed a root-canal, BUT THEY SCREWED UP AGAIN! now I have to see a specialist and pay out of pocket the problems that they caused. read more

OMG - i was just searching on how to begin a lawsuit towards Grandridge dental, when I came across this... my wife and I both just had procedures done. Mine turned out to be the easier of the two, where I was to just have a "small" cavity filled - "small" based on the x-ray images and defined as "small" by the doctor. Well, they misled me, and after spending 20 minutes to fill the hole and about another 20 minutes to grind off/out the over-filling, the tooth is still aching... that was the easy one. For my wife, she had what appeared to be the beginning of a hairline crack. To her, it was a good solid tooth that was working fine for years; however, the doctor convinced her otherwise by claiming his expertise. She unknowing went back to have a crown put on, but wasn't told of the entire procedure until after they had completely ground off the original tooth, leaving her with no option but to get a temporary crown. The assistant did a horrible job with putting on the temp, so while waiting for two weeks for the real crown, she waited in pain and stress thinking everytime she ate it could fall out. Finally, the next appointment was here: while cleaning and preping the tooth, the assistant jabbed a tool into another part of her gums, causing her so much pain she yelled out. Then if that wasn't enough, the assistant couldn't dislodge the temp crown correctly, and wound up breaking even more of the base of the original tooth, which of course is needed for a correct fitting with the permanent crown. So now, since the tooth shape is different they had to redo everything, making her wait another 2 weeks, in pain, for another crown, that will hopefully fit the broken original tooth... what a sad sad joke... we are almost ready to sue! read more

The hygienist, same person who worked on my filling, was nice and approachable; she kept me calm and always asking me how I was doing. I agree with the above reviewers that they are overpriced and they don't care about your dental/oral health, all they care is how to extract money from their patients. Office staff is terrible, rude and very inconsiderate. They just harass you every chance they get, cancel your appointments without letting you know. My advice don't waste your time and money. They answered most of my questions but I could have used more information. Their staff was friendly enough, but they didn't go out of their way to help me. I felt like my needs were mostly met, but they didn't make any extra effort. When I got a cavity filled there, Dr. Morgan drilled it out, but then one of his staff filled it with the filling. I'm pretty sure the dentist is the only one that should fill the cavity. The staff that was assigned to me kept leaving without even saying anything. Grandridge Dental has very nice people working there. They really try to make you feel comfortable, and take care of you. They have gotten me in right away, and are quick to help out if you have any issues. No problems with insurance either! They are great! read more

I would give less than 1 star if this would allow me. The staff at Grandridge Dental could use some training in customer service. Should you have "left over insurance benefit" for the year after your two routine cleanings they will call you and hound you to the point of harassment trying to get you to schedule another appointment to use this extra insurance coverage. We are talking almost daily phone calls with messages, then phone calls and messages left at your place of employment even if you have a specific "do not contact" at this number listed. Not to mention I would always schedule my next 6 month cleaning as I finished the current one and wouldn't change my appointment however they always seemed to run an hour or longer behind in getting me in for my scheduled (6 month in advance!) appointment. I have since stopped going to this location and would never recommend it to anyone! Not to mention a couple weeks after removing myself from their clientele list I received a check in the mail for funds of mine they had been holding from a previous appointment over a year past that I didn't even know they had as they never told me my insurance paid more than what they were estimating. I highly recommend checking out other dentist locations. read more
