Horrible. Went in for tooth pain and was told I would have to get a deep cleaning before they fixed my cavity? Being pregnant I refused the extra cleaning because it requires antibiotics and can quite simply wait until the baby is born. I was asked if I slept the night before, told to stop crying, and was welcomed to leave when I asked if they would simply fix the tooth that hurt. They took me into a back room to tell me I was misinformed and they never even scheduled me to fix the tooth. Disgusting service, overpriced, and refusal to help with pain. First off, I'm a real person, not an automated system response. I'm 62 years young and over the past three years have had to have two full hip replacements. I preface this review with that information because prior to that I had good teeth. Since my medical insurance would not approve my hip surgerys until I could not walk on my own, I was dependent on pain medication to continue working so I could support my family. I'm was the sole support of my two sons and I back then. After over four years of pain medications and two full hip replacements I was on the road to recovery in every aspect except my teeth. Being on the pain medications for that long took it's toll on my teeth. Several of my upper and lower teeth had rotted out and had to be removed. Long story short. I went to Aspen Dental after doing enough research to know they were my best option both in expertise, technology and the most updated equipment on the market to get the job done. I had 14 teeth removed on the top and 3 on the bottom. They had me in the chair for 5 hours due to the condition and difficulty of my teeth to remove. They showed me unbelievable care during that time and nearly no discomfort during the procedure. It goes without saying that I was scared to death to do this! Jamie, the office manager was very confident and reassuring that I was making the right decision, one that did not come easily to me. After the procedure they were precise in their explanations of what to do next and how to care for my temporary dentures. They also adjusted my temporary dentures several times at no cost while I was waiting for the swelling in my gums to go down. Each and every time I went into their office, I was greeted with smiles and by my first name and never waited longer than 10 minutes to be seen. Now, after 6 months, I have my permanent dentures and my smile back without the worry of when my next tooth ache will happen. My smile is my life and Aspen Dental gave that back to me! I want to thank Dr. Amad, Jamie, Marisa and the entire staff at Aspen Dental for a fantastic job! I would highly recommend Aspen Dental on North Division for any dental procedure. I went to Aspen Dental to see about getting Dentures as I have had all my teeth pull the prices they told me was going to be $4000 or more then I told her I was going to wait until all my healing was done and that brought it done to $800 which I could handle a little more being on Social Security. I called to make an appointment and also to let them know that I now had insurance, the girl that answered the phone I believe was new as she was asking questions, this didn't bother me at all so she took a message and after 3 weeks not hearing back from them I called back the girl I talked to this time took all my insurance information which was taken the first time and said she was going to call my insurance and get my benefits and would call me back well it's been a week now and still no call, I feel since I told them I had insurance and my insurance would cover $1000 and that would mean I wouldn't owe them anything they don't want me as a patient. They say word of mouth can make or break a company this is not good practice for any company and I worked for a Dental Insurance company and know first hand what a bad review can do. Well I will let my friends and family know not to go to Aspen Dental. I see there are many unhappy people with Aspen Dental wow I wonder why? It happen again. My third time in after hearing I paid everything multiple times and still don't have my bridge replaced they asked for another $5100.00. I give them a one star review because I kept getting things in the mail about aspen dental and how the do a free consultation which is a LIE!! They kept asking to do more scans and saying we need to keep looking at you little did I know that it wasn't going to be free. When at the beginning before I went to have my teeth looked at everyone was reassuring me this time it would be free, I am a 19 year old and I do not have the money to pay a $300 dental bill for them to look at my dead teeth and just tell me what I need to pay to have it all fixed. I got on the phone with a women a month or so back explaining what happened and she said once again that it was free and she doesn't know why I keep being sent this mail that says I owe you guys still. And now even during the coronavirus where I am unemployed and not receiving any unemployment benefits I am expected to pay this bill when I was told from the get go it was free from the sign on the front door to my appointment where I was told it was free and about a month after when I got called about it was told i wouldn't get mail from aspen dental anymore and that I did not need to pay to still be getting pressured into paying the bill when they lied to me the whole time. I had no family with me I was alone and explained it was my first time going by myself and they took advantage of me not knowing what to do at a dentist appointment. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! read more

I was forced to use Aspen because my previous Dental office no longer contracted with my Delta Dental plan through Costco. Keep in mind that I have excellent oral health and always have. I am usually in and out of a dentist office in 45 minutes, tops. First off, the staff are courteous and professional, but I checked in at 10:30 for a 10:45 "cleaning", and wasn't called back until 11:15. I was new to Aspen but had no clue that I had only been scheduled for a new patient visit and would have to schedule a later appointment for an actual cleaning. This was not communicated to me when scheduling my "cleaning". I made it clear that I was unhappy about the lack of communication and scheduling and they went ahead and did the cleaning at the same time. I think this probably happens more often than not which is why you wait so long for your appointment. While in the back, I felt like the staff was nickel and diming me to death. It was suggested I use a retainer and purchase Invisalign through their facility. Huh?! I have a permanent retainer and have had for years. No other office has ever suggested this. They played me for a fool. I will not be back. 2 hours later, I ran out of there declining $40 worth of suggested treatment. I will not be back, thank you very much. read more

I went here with my 92 year old mother who had broken a tooth. I would rather stick needles in my eye than go back. We arrived 15 minutes prior to appointment for paper work as per their instructions and waited and waited and waited. After one hour past our appointment time I asked how much longer and I was told just a few more minutes. A half hour later we were taken back to get X-rays then taken to an extremely cold exam room where we waited another half hour for the doctor to show. He spent a total of 5 or 10 seconds looking at my moms mouth and then started pointing and saying all the teeth need to go and then referred us to a surgeon. He was completely unwilling to listen to any of our unique circumstances. read more

I have had extensive work done at this location. I got full dental implants installed. I will say, the dentist isamazing. Loved him. Unfortunately, the front of office is awful. The only person who hasn't been rude when I called was the lady that scheduled my very first appointment, and she wasn't even there, she was at the 800 number. I have been treated with rudeness, a very definite lack of even wanting to try to help, and an inability to answer my questions. Today was the last straw. I called about a broken temporary denture that needed to be fixed. I was told they couldn't get me in until Monday, four days away. Okay. They are busy with covid stuff maybe. When I asked if I could go to a different aspen location that could get me in sooner, since you know, I couldn't eat, I was placed on hold for ten minutes, only to have the office manager (the rudest of them all) pick up the phone to give me the number to the valley location and tell me "they probably can't help me but you can try". Nobody even looked into anything the ten minutes I was on hold. I can easily google a number myself faster than that. Why leave me on the like if you had no intent to try to help? Those people who probably couldn't help me were infinitely nicer, answered my questions, and most importantly treated me with respect, something the office manager at the Newport location has a problem with. I've gone ahead and transferred the rest of my work to the valley location. I just wish I would have known how rude they were before I gave them literally tens of thousands of dollars. Bummer. Also! Repairing my temporaries takes the valley location literally a third of the time it does up north for the exact same repair. At least the last four grand will not go to them! Again, it really is a shame as I loved my dentist but refuse to be treated so poorly every time I have to call or come in. Figure it out Newport aspen dental! read more

We had the WORSE experience with their billing office. No communication efforts. I called them over and over asking them to submit a claim to our insurance. I gave them our insurance information THREE times. Once in person, and twice over the phone. I spoke to JESSICA three times about it. They sent my son to collections even though I had been in communication about it. I told them just bill the insurance and I would gladly pay our portion. He got called again by collections. I told them to take it out of collections. Jessica's response, "we don't do that". I wanted a manager. Her response again, "no one here does that". No one manages that place????? DON'T GO THERE! SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!! They seemed so nice at first BUT after the service is done, they don't care. They don't seem to want to get paid. And they don't care how their poor billing process affects their patients. HORRIBLE!!!! read more

I had a dental pain emergency and they got me in the same day. Everyone was so nice. From the front desk to the financial manager, hygienist, and dentist, they made me feel comfortable and welcome. The dentist even stayed late to take care of me. Yes, paying out of pocket for dental services is expensive but their rates aren't outrageous and they make sure you're aware of all costs before going forward. And they take Care Credit. Made another appointment to go back next week! Would highly recommend to anyone with or without insurance. read more
