I came here after my family convinced me to come in and meet with Scott. I thought I was going to see him by myself but my whole family was there...full on intervention! I have to say...as mad as I was initially that they tricked me, it ended up being the best thing that happened to me. It was a lot like the TV show, my family drew the line and gave me a choice. Scott was great. I could tell immediately that he's in this field because he cares. He was extremely understanding and so easy to talk to. He's been sober himself over 30 years so I knew he could relate. He helped me to see how I was slowly killing myself and how it was effecting my family. Scott sent me to detox and I came back about a week later and did the outpatient program. I came in and Joe was my counselor. What a phenomenal counselor and overall human being! He helped me overcome my alcoholism one day at a time. He has this saying, "I have today and I'm fighting for tomorrow" I lived by this mantra for the 92 days that I worked with him. Thank you Joe! The groups are great! Tuesday night was family night with Christine. Another amazing person. She is a counselor and therapist and really helped me reconnect with my family. Our communication is so much better now. I used to dread family nights because I was afraid of what my family would say about me but in the end I looked forward to them. Thursday night was men's group with Joe. I love men's group and still go to the group as an alumni. I think it's so important that we have a night where the men get to meet and deal with "men" issues. Saturday morning you get to choose between recovery and spiritual group. I went to the spiritual group that Joe and Sonya ran. Sonya is another amazing counselor. She really cares about the people she works with. I'm an alumni now and get to continue coming back as such for free as long as I stay sober. I come on Thursdays and Wednesday for the alumni meeting. This program saved my life! Literally! From meeting with Scott in the beginning, to Joe, Christine, Sonya...the entire Aspire staff! They are family now! If you're looking for help, give them a call! Don't wait! When I walked into aspire I was a mess and very nervous. Within five minutes I met Lisa who made me feel normal and welcome. Kim, Cynthia, and all of the counselors are awesome. This place and the counselors are a joke. Jessica runs this place and it's all about how much they can get from your insurance, and not about helping these kids. Kids go there for help, because they have issues. The second these kids don't do exactly as Aspire wants them to do, instead of trying to come at the kids from a different angle, they give up on them. They discharge them or tell you that your kid needs to go to an inpatient rehab in LA. They have counselors that are comparing their own kid issues with your REAL TEENAGER drug and substance abuse problems, with their 6 and 13 year old kid problems. They got rid of the one counselor that connected with those kids, and expected these kids to just adjust, when in fact, it was a major step back for those kids. I DO NOT recommend Aspire Counseling Services to anyone. Find your child a better place. Somewhere where they CARE ABOUT HELPING YOUR CHILD, not just collecting money from your insurance! read more

The facility is very clean and well kept. In addition the classes offered in the partial hospitalization program are very well thought out. Anger management with Guage and pet therapy with lizz are excellent. I will say that things can be kind of rocky if you can't connect with the councilors. While I'm really glad that other others have had good experiences, i just really would like to make people aware that Aspire does not take HIPAA compliance seriously. as a professional in behavioral health and someone who has been working with children for years in workplaces where im NOT allowed to disclose any identities, i have never identified a client other than discussing them with the team that i'm working with on their case. that being said, one of the staff whom i had never even met, identified me to multiple people in our same social circle regarding me being in Aspire's outpatient program. i felt deeply violated and contacted Aspire regarding this issue and their response was "we reached out to the staff member, and our next step is to have them retake the HIPAA certification" which, keep in mind is an ONLINE COURSE. recovery is deeply personal, and when i eventually went to inpatient due to me not feeling like my business would be respected there (at Aspire), i told my counselors about it and they assured me that they would all lose their job if they pulled that behavior at their facility. i have no idea what said staff member is up to these days and this isn't to get them in any trouble, (which i truthfully did attempt to do prior due to the fact that why would you get into this industry of HELPING people if you would out them for trying to get help) but just to warn people that this facility doesn't give a flying f**k about regulations and i don't want anyone else's privacy violated if they have another option. only reason for the two stars is because lisa was amazing to me always. read more

I came here as a support system for someone very close to me when they sought treatment for addiction. She worked with Evan and truly enjoyed the experience and care provided. Knowing that it takes my friend a lot to open up and trust people, it goes a long way that she felt comfortable opening up to and working with Evan. He is very humble and treats everyone with the upmost respect. I was able to sit in on most of the family group meetings and it felt like a big family of people just there to uplift one another. We never felt judged or condemned and to this day, we have a lot of respect for everyone at Aspire. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone seeking treatment. read more

I am so blessed to have found this center, all of the counselors have so much wisdom and knowledge, far beyond my expectations. Each counselor has unique and special qualities that are tailored to each client, after all we are all different in many ways but suffer the same disease; the counselors know this and take this into consideration as they are putting together your recovery plan. The folks that attend the group sessions are always so positive and the stories that are shared are always helpful and confidential. I have been extremely impressed with the responsiveness of this service. They answer the phone every time I call and offered guidance and understanding- and a desire to help me with my daughter's struggle with substance abuse.
