Though my parent enjoys it at the Manor, I've been concerned about continuous increases in the rent and fees, especially the latest increase of just shy of 15%! This latest increase seems to have pushed residents "over the edge," with several now moving out to nicer and cheaper alternatives. The Manor seems to have also lost several good and caring employees that we really liked. I'm starting to get concerned about the trends I've been witnessing. I hope these trends don't continue.

When we walked in the door at Manor Village, we knew we had found Moms new home. We were greeted by Wesley Wilkins who provided us with a tour and as we moved throughout the building, Wesley knew all the residents that we came in contact with as well as employees. You could tell he really enjoys his job and every employee we talk with had a smile on their face. The entire building had a wonderful vibe and the residence we interacted with were so welcoming and friendly. We feel confident that if any emergency or care is needed, Mom is in the right place. It is now been a couple of months since she moved in and we could not be any happier. It has been such a positive experience and I would highly recommend Manor Village if you're looking for a facility that will treat your loved one like family. We exchanged Happy New Years before our informal Meeting. Suddenly Tim reached under his desk And place a Red Bag on his desk. Along side he placed A piece of cake covered with Sprinkles. In the Red Base was Hot Wheels Car , my first, a Fridge Magnate, An Orange Marker 4 pieces of assorted Chocolate. A Stone Ridge Pad . Also Caplin Tim included his business card and tapped to the side of my Birthday Goodie Bag was a Birthday card signed by the Director of Operations, I met her, 1 of the 2 Social Workers, and the receptionist who is waiting to be tested so she can assume RN duties for the Hospice. My only Question. I ask after Chaplain Tim shared the Minimum Hours required are 1. I stated I would like to work a few hours whenever I am asked. Honestly, the gesture of kindness and inclusion Blew My Mind. Please help this Hospice grow throughout the Phoenix area

Many activities are happening for the residents. A menu is posted for the daily meals. There are two seating times for each meal. Several of us went to visit a friend who now lives there. The facility allows pets and we met Lily of the Valley, our friend's cat. The rooms are good sized with bedroom and sitting area. A small microwave and refrigerator are in the room. The cleaning staff come often. While we were sitting in her room, a staff person came to visit. She was there to help bathe our friend, but said she would come back later. It was an enjoyable visit. They have their own parking lot.

They have a pool there and part of my therapy is exercise in the pool. Nivi has also been certified to work with amputees ! When you walk in Hannah who does double duty as receptionist and helping Nivi, has the brightest smile and warmly greets you. They have lots of gym equipment, they also do dry needling, and tens. I highly recommend them.

He praised the staff are more friendly and available, the food are better, even the air is fresher compared to the last assisted home he stayed at for 4 years. His tone was belittling, and he spoke about writing up and firing staff in a way that felt dismissive of the people actually doing the caregiving. Given that, it's hardly surprising how many memory care directors have come and gone. It's worrying to think this same leadership will be opening a new, state-of-the-art center -- I have real concerns about whether the culture behind the scenes matches the polish out front. I don't typically write reviews, but after learning Laurin had left and seeing firsthand how unsanitary and rundown the common areas have become, I felt I owed it to other families to speak up. This is memory care -- the residents here are especially vulnerable, and I think that raises the stakes on all of this considerably.

Ema and Cris are a husband and wife team who are competent, caring and just have good energy. My mom is on a ketogenic diet and they were happy to accommodate this. The food here is wonderful, not the bland, generic food you might get in a larger setting. There is a wonderful social atmosphere. The home is in a beautiful neighborhood and is close to highway 51. It's easy to get to. My mom is happy here and that gives me peace of mind - especially since I live out of state.

When I tell you the staff and residents are what truly separate this place from anywhere else, I genuinely mean it. You will not find more caring staff members who treat the residents like their own family. They are constantly looking out for everyone and go above and beyond to make residents feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. The residents here are also beyond wonderful. From day one, they welcomed both my grandmother and me with open arms and helped her feel safe and like she truly had a place to call home. They also do an amazing job organizing daily activities for the residents, and I especially love their monthly vendor market.
