I wanted to leave another review for Park Terrace after reading some of the recent reviews posted here. My grandmother has lived here for the last year, and since I live directly across the street, I am here almost every single day. When I tell you the staff and residents are what truly separate this place from anywhere else, I genuinely mean it. You will not find more caring staff members who treat the residents like their own family. They are constantly looking out for everyone and go above and beyond to make residents feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. The residents here are also beyond wonderful. From day one, they welcomed both my grandmother and me with open arms and helped her feel safe and like she truly had a place to call home. They also do an amazing job organizing daily activities for the residents, and I especially love their monthly vendor market. I truly can't emphasize enough how great this place is for you or a loved one. read more

The food quality is terrible the portion size that they give the residents is ridiculous to say the least. They feed them almost the same thing every other week and a lot of these residents are allergic to a lot of the stuff that they tend to feed multiple times a week or a month. The housekeeping is not up to par they don't move anything and they don't sweet before they mop they use them off to sleep. Also the staff doesn't really care about the residents they are not treated with love and kindness these people honestly deserve better care and my opinion. I am very happy to say that I will be taking my mom home come July 2026 and she will no longer be here. The apartments are old, and no amount of paint can cover-up water damage, filthy air vents and lack of individual A/C units, shared WiFi etc. The email address is no longer valid. Phone calls not returned. If you have questions, get your answers before any discussions of deposits. The dog park has artificial turf. Ouch poor pooch in the summer. The neighborhood is not good at all. Guard shack, no guard. Walk,run or roll away before you're trapped. read more

My friend just moved here to independent living. While they do offer assisted living, that is about to change. The place will be under new ownership and they have decided to do away with the assisted living portion. What a shame. Park Terrace was home to Marriott inn years ago. In fact I remarked as I walked in how it felt like a hotel. It has very high ceilings with lots of natural light coming in. When you walk past the portico, the reception area greets you. The reception desk is manned 24/7. Opposite that is a large dining area with booths and tables with chairs. There is also a room which had a bingo game in progress. Going past reception, there is a game room with pool table and puzzles to work on. Just past the game room is a hair salon and clinic open three days a week. All of the stairwells have been roped off. Tenants are asked to use the elevators to go upstairs. Upstairs there is a table and chairs for public use to play cards or board games. There is a well stocked library. In the next room is the gym with treadmills, weights and elliptical machine. The last room is the craft area with large table and chairs. Supplies are stocked next to the wall. Two sewing machines are available for use. There is a very large round pool outside and a water feature. The grounds are kept clean. Staff are very friendly as are the residents. Gated community with plenty of parking spaces. Free WiFi residents. read more

We moved mom in last weekend and I just want to say thank you to Deb & Cindy for making the transition so smooth. From the first time we met Deb and staff they were very welcoming. As we toured the property everyone that passed us said hello and introduced themselves. Made my mom feel so good about coming to live here. The property is beautiful and there are so many different activities for the residence to take part in. A true community. A few other people that you'll get to know there is Mike that greets you at the gate when you come in and some of the staff in the dining room that we have had the pleasure of meeting like Chris & Monica to mention a few. They are all great!!! Let's not forget about Ruth that runs the front desk. She is the sweetest. Always so helpful. We have already recommended Park Terrace to a few of our friends that are looking for a place for their parents to live. read more

My mother lived there into her 90's and loved it. We loved it. The apartments are spacious and modern and the grounds were well maintained. There is a beautiful heated pool and large common area. The staff is fabulous. Friendly, always there and goes the extra mile. This place is great and conveniently located to the valley. read more

Park Terrace Senior Living in Phoenix, AZ is a beautiful place to live (https://www.parkterraceseniorliving.com/). Please see the pictures I have attached below. I was just there, and the entire place is resort-like with a campus layout with nice walking trails. The grounds are extremely well-maintained with beautiful birds and the smell of freshly cut green grass essentially year-round. They have all kinds of activities including, yet not limited to, water aerobics, art classes, bingo, cards, pool tables, big-screen movies, routine happy hour, shopping trips, and more. It is a very clean, safe, and caring environment for seniors. The staff is very caring and attentive to the needs of residents and their family members. In my opinion, it is the perfect place to retire and be taken care of, as needed/wanted, which is why I selected it for my relative. He loves it there and could not be happier. Even though I live out of state and cannot visit daily, I feel very confident that he is being well taken care of there. The onsite contractor that provides aid and attendance services is excellent. Since someone asked... They do have designated smoking areas around the campus which are rather nice with comfortable seating. However, those locations are mostly in private areas that are convenient to residents. At the same time, it feels like a smoke-free environment since you never see anyone smoking there. The residents, of course, are not allowed to smoke inside anywhere, so the buildings and apartments are always smoke-free. read more

Park Terrace at Greenway is independent living. For me, that is perfect. I have lived at Park Terrace since it opened 6+ years ago. I love it here; the staff is great and always willing to help. The residents are generally friendly and I have made friends with several. I enjoy the resort style ambience with lovely pool, palm trees, grass. There are many activities each day and if you participate you will never be bored. Come see for yourself; you won't be disappointed. read more

Run by misogynists from owners to office staff. Once again i have been told to leave park terrace, the 3 rd women I know if)) for complaining about the old drunks who live in building 7.?they smoke where ever they please. They have dogs that are vicious and r never on a leash. If Living w drunks who smoke and don't keep their dogs from attacking you come to Park Terrace If you r a woman be prepared to be told that you r "too loud". When your dog gets bit. Or the old guy calls u a c**t when u walk by. The men are given repeated "talking to" with absolutely no changes. r in their glorious lobby today having just been told u have a 10 day notice for eviction. The dispute goes back to November rent, which I owe 1/2 of. I was hospitalized that month. No excuse but I'm disabled as are most of Park Terrace lessees. I have finally come out of my apt walkered the end of community, out side, at least 1/8 mile to eat. Waiting for Lyftto get a steroid injection in my back. Have been bedridden for weeks. Hungry, thirsty,, in pain and muscle spasms. It's inclluded in your rent here, but 4.00 delivery. But. each meal.12.00 day o tip of rent if can't pay u don't eat. Residents try to help each despite disabilities . Many residents are hungry, have no money to buy extra food. I had a bran new 4 wheel rollator disappear, owned it 3 weeks! Staff were of no help. They say that Park Terrace is resort style senior living and once you arrive you can certainly see why. The lobby has just been renovated and it's beautiful. My mom is 66 she lives here and she loves it. I love it. It's beautiful all around inside and out. All the staff are so helpful and friendly. She is in a wheelchair and it was getting hard for her to get around and the provided her with a free scooter to use. I also love that my mom can see a doctor on site. Also the food is all included in the monthly rent and the food is delicious! Can't recommend the place enough! read more

I spent 3 weeks at Park Terrace. It was NOT a great place. They are seriously understaffed andx they ask too much of their own health aids. The result wafer me lying in my own urine in bed until 911 was called and I was taken to the hospital to have a catheter replaced. I missed many meals because someone forgot my order or forgot to come to take me to meals. There is a definite segregation of those of us in assisted living from other residents. The lovely pool that they show in their ads bears a sign that says "No Assisted Living Allowed." I am now living my dream! At 82 my bucket list was empty. I'd done it all: marry, had 2 children, travelled the world, published a novel with Random House. But there was one thing not in my bucket list because I never thought it could happen. Over the years I would tell my family and friends: if I had enough money, I would live in a hotel--never thinking it would be possible. But lo and behold, less than 2 miles from where I lived, The Embassy Suites became Park Terrace Senior Living. I walked into the lobby and said to myself. This is it. I moved in the end of February and all I can do is thank the person who turned this beautiful hotel into a senior living experience. Horrible experience! It started out good, I was waiting for the Assisted Living part to open and for them to get their license. I was told they would accept ALTCS (an assistance program). After waiting 5 months I was told by Deb that they will not be accepting ALTCS. My mom has Alzheimers and I was desperate to get her into a home. Now I'm back to square one looking for a place for my mom. Deb was unprofessional and misleading. She didn't even apologize! read more
