I was pleasantly surprised with how seamless the process is. You give them a call and let them know how many boxes of shredding you have. Then they give you a quote and they arrange a schedule for the shredding truck to be at your residence. Once on site, they dump all the contents of your boxes into a large bin. They hook up the bin to the side of the truck and it lifts up to empty all contents into the truck's shredder. All this you can witness through a monitor. It is so quick and easy. I called to get details on how the process and scheduling worked and was treated very kindly and thoroughly. When I called back to schedule the appointment, I was treated just as kindly. The driver called to give me a window, as I was told he'd do and he called when he was heading to my house and arrived exactly when he said he would. So personable and polite. After making an appointment last week, we called to confirm last night (which should be their job) and were told that everything was set for 8:30 a.m. The owner went to meet them there and they didn't show up. Didn't really need the on site service so I boxed up what I needed shredded and drove to the location. The office staff was extremely courteous and knowledgeable and reminded me about the on-line 2/1 deal. The only hiccup was that I didn't get an email quote when I submitted the info on the website. I got a phone call in the morning when I tried again. Dropped the stuff off, went through the process, paid and left. Seamless and exactly what I needed. Not sure what the rates normally are, but I felt $21 for (4) loaded copy paper boxes was reasonable considered how long it would take me to shred and dispose of. I work at an Architectural Firm so we had a large amount of boxes that needed to be shredded which caused me to go a little more in depth with who we chose. Christy was very persistent, provided all the information we asked for and was thorough with explaining how their prices worked. They beat the price out of the other 3 companies I spoke with. I had many documents to shred and too many many for my little home shredder to handle. I wanted to use a service that would securely shred my documents. Assured fits the bill! They not only come to your residence or business, they shred on site so you know your documents are securely destroyed. I contacted a very helpful Monique and she set up an appointment quickly. She explained in detail what would happen. I had requested an afternoon appointment and they met that request. Craig called to let me know his time frame window of when he would be there. He showed up within the timeframe window and quickly and efficiently completed my shredding job. You can even view your document being shredded on the video screen on the truck. After calling around to have someone come and shred our company old files, I found out that the price here is pretty good....for a reason. I called and scheduled a day for them to come out a week in advance & was told someone would call me that morning to give me a widow of a time frame. That morning came & went and I had to email them to find out if someone was going to call me, only to get a phone call back that was of no use; I was told that they didn't know and someone would call me back but it would be that afternoon. No one ever called or came by. I emailed again and called the next morning and was told that they couldn't come out until the end of the week. At this point, seeing how they can't even bother trying to be on the ball with a NEW client, I can't imagine how they are with established ones. I can tell that this will be a company that I will have to keep calling and following up with if I were to have a scheduled day, and I just don't have the time to do that so I'd much rather take my business elsewhere. read more

I was close to the deadline and worried I'd either get stuck driving somewhere or paying a fortune. I called at close on a Friday, left a message and received a call back Monday morning from Christy. She accommodated my schedule for mobile document destruction and saved me time by emailing all the documents I needed to sign. I was very pleasantly surprised by the price, it was less than I expected. The drivers called as promised and arrived within the time frame quoted. Wish I could remember their names they were both so friendly and professional-they asked me if I would like to watch the process to see how the mobile truck did the shredding.
