Eventually they agreed to waive the fee as they lied to me over the phone about the procedure costs. Just received the $50 bill anyway. Avoid these people at all costs, they are dishonest (both in person and over the phone) and also charge double what other facilities do if you're not covered.

I scheduled my procedure (an x-ray guided injection) just 8 days later--a vast improvement over two and a half months. I had a great experience with X-Ray Associates. They apparently got a lot of new patients ("refugees") from Santa Fe Imaging. I suspect they will keep most of them. The staff were friendly and got me checked in quickly. I was escorted to the procedure room in just a few minutes. The tech explained the benefits and (remote) risks from the procedure I was going to get. The physician also reviewed the risks and how the procedure was going to happen before we started. The staff took care to make sure this was a sterile procedure. It went flawlessly and I had almost immediate relief. I could not have been more pleased with friendliness, efficiency, and professionalism and will definitely use them for future X-rays as needed.

My daughter is autistic and, like many neurodivergent children, can become overwhelmed with unfamiliar or abrupt interactions. Instead of approaching the situation with patience or understanding, the doctor said, "If you can't control your child, I don't have time." Let me be clear: 1. My daughter has special needs, and regulating a child like her takes time and skill--not impatience and judgment. 2. I waited for 2 &' A HALF hours just for them to tell me they don't know what's wrong with me, so they gave me a Throat culture &' i wasn't supposed to receive the test results until Friday supposedly. they sent me home with nothing &' just told me to take ibuprofen &' tylenol. I couldn't wait till friday so I had went somewhere else to get checked &' turns out I had MULTIPLE things wrong with me including pneumonia. Before an MRI, you'll visit a room with lockers where you stash your gear and lock it up with a key. Then the MRI is done and the staff will ask you what station you want to listen to. Over the loud machine, I couldn't hear my music, so I essentially had to lose myself in my thoughts and lie bored for about 25 minutes. If possible, request that the music in your headphones be turned up before the procedure.
