It is designed for bare floors and was a reasonable price. But we weren't ready for that yet, so we are going to get more use out of our now rejuvenated old one and replace it at a later date. I feel safe in saying that you will always be treated fairly here and he will save you money when he can. I suppose I should give a pandemic update as well for those who care. They confirm the upcoming appointment and alert you when the technician is actually on the road en route to your home. They photograph everything before and after, even the inside of the ductwork going up to the roof and the inside of the dryer. The technician went up on the roof to make sure the flap baffle is properly sealed and working correctly and cleaned. Extremely careful and respectful about the interior and exterior of the house while he is working. I've done this work myself in other houses we've owned and I can say it's a great value for the money! And trustworthy: after the initial service they performed, we scheduled for the following year, which was the service he did today.
