I have been taking my vehicles to honest-1 for a few years now, and I'm realizing that I've never…read moregiven a review. These guys are awesome! They are exactly exactly what their name says. They are honest and, in my opinion, absolutely number one. They have always been more than fair in pricing, but even more than that, they have always been straightforward with my vehicles have never pressured me to do anything that I didn't feel was necessary. They've always been good to give me a plan for what might need attention down the road, but never tried to sell me on service I didn't need. Never once have I ever felt like I've been taken advantage of. That goes the same for my wife. I have a classic 1997 Ford F150 and about four years ago I got some brake-work done by another mechanic in town. When I got the vehicle back, the brakes were worse than before! After going back multiple times to make it right, I finally washed my hands and walked away. I went to TWO other recommended mechanics after that to tried to get the situation correctly diagnosed and resolved. Both places said nothing was wrong even after a test drive with me in the vehicle each time. I started to think that it was just the fact that my truck was older. But after going to honest-1 for other things like oil changes and some engine work, I told them about my brakes situation. They took a look and found the problem in no time. The coolant leak is from an auxiliary radiator. I drive a CTS-V, so its not your basic cooling system. They were honest with me and said they have never changed that system on a V and wouldn't feel comfortable doing so. They could have easily just winged it just to get my money. But, they were honest about it and didn't even charge me for diagnosing the issue since they couldn't work on it. Definitely taking my other cars here when they need something.

Been here several times now for various jobs and have been very happy every time. They are a…read morefriendly, honest and professional shop. One of the major things that stands out about this particular shop is this: People dread when going to a mechanic is being sold or scared into getting work done that is not needed, or at least not needed now. This place just does not do that. I'm reasonably mechanically savvy, not a mechanic by any means, or even close, but I have a basic knowledge of how things work. So, someone might argue that they just look elsewhere for easier pickings. BUT no. Sometimes I will wait while I have work done, so I hear them interacting with other customers over the course of an hour or so. And I hear them doing the same thing, they will tell folks that "actually no, that $$$ part is not the issue, it's just this $ part", or that "You are still good for another x thousand miles, no need to do that yet". That's just one thing that makes this shop stand out. But I thought it worth mentioning as that one thing is what makes people afraid of repair shops. No need worry about that here. I was a little skeptical but after speaking to the manager he assured me that I had nothing to worry about. I am 61 yrs old and pulled out all my savings and credit card to pay for the engine. About two weeks after the engine was installed my check engine light kept coming on so I took it back and after paying more money for sparks plugs and a lot of unnecessary repairs he finally decided to replace the engine . Once again the second engine did the same thing burn oil I took it back and now he is not returning my calls and stalling. I am now left with an engine that's worse that my original engine after spending all my savings. Be very cautious of what these people tells u it's all for their gain
