The food was amazing. The service was top notch. Received the food in record time. The price was very reasonable.

I love this little diner. We come here very frequently for breakfast. It is a little Greek diner with a good selection of items on the menu. Two people can easily have breakfast for $10-$15. There is a nice little patio at which I am sitting as I write this. My favorite breakfast item, which I get 99% of the time, is Tina's Special Omelette. Tina is the owner's name. The omelette consists of homefries, tomatoes, provolone, & feta cheese in an omelette. It comes with Tzatziki sauce (a yogurt type of sauce) & toast. The staff is friendly & efficient, & the food comes out quickly. They also have some good dinner selections. My fave is the dolmas & the liver & onions.

Small kids menu, but it's all the stuff kids won't object to eating so, no worries! Chicken fingers!!!

it smelled of mildew and had mold on the ceiling. I talked to them and he said what do you expect for an old building

The worst restaurant I have ever had the experience of dining in. Food, service and cleanliness was not to be emulated.

Our 1x-2x a year stop when we're in town. Standard diner menu, clean restaurant, great breakfasts.

Best Gyro in York. Has standard diner food too. Not fancy but generally clean. Broasted chicken also good.

Good breakfasts, nice friendly atmosphere, and the best onion rings I've had in a very long time. The prices are easy on the wallet too!

My immediate reaction entering was, wow what a clean place. It is clean, bright and very welcoming. Our waitress was a lovely young woman who took the time to go through the menu with us and tell us things that were popular with regulars. I chose a roast beef melt with tomato soup and my husband got a gargantuan sized turkey dinner with all the fixings --real mashed potatoes and gravy, roast turkey, which they roast in house, and stuffing with a side of carrots. To round out our meal we had coffee and two scoops of ice cream also made in house by the waitress's father. Delicious, especially the cherry vanilla. Couldn't have been more pleased with the food, ambiance and reasonable prices. We are new to the area and looking forward to another good meal!

Now, years later, my wife and I would pass by the new 81 diner and would always say we needed to try it. We'll, today was the day. We stopped in for lunch, and aside from a gentleman waiting for his to-go order, we were known as the customers. I guess not a lot of people eat at 3 in the afternoon. The atmosphere was very nice. The tables, chairs and booths all fit the diner nicely. My cheesesteak sub was very tasty. Their menu said no substitutions, but they let me withhold the lettuce, tomatoes and onions, which I'm not fond of, so I'm glad they let me do that. Along that note, my wife ordered the BLT sandwich, and gave me some of the bacon, which was really good! Our friend George ordered the pizza burger, which also looked good, and he seemed to enjoy it. Their fresh cut fries were fantastic as well. If I had anything to complain about, it would be that the music being piped in was too modern for a classic diner atmosphere and wasn't something we were expecting. Hopefully that's something they will eventually change. Maybe next time we will stay long enough to try some of their desserts, which looked pretty good too. We will definitely be back soon.
