Our waitress was sooo nice and attentive. I didn't catch her name but she had pink acrylic nails and wore white crocs but s/o to her. We literally ordered and the food was ready no lie like 5 minutes. I ordered the eggs Benedict the sauce they use was a little different but BETTER than any other diner in the area. Home fries very bland but that's typical diner food. We also ordered the 2/2/2/2 the suasage are HUGE. Atmosphere VERY OUTDATED it use to be a mcdonalds from like the 90s lol still has the same flooring and it def has the smell of a mcdonalds. That fry smell. Our bill came out to about 29 bucks for 2 meals a juice and coffee. So most likely we will be back for breakfast since this is prolly top diner in the area I've tried so far. read more

Ok these pancakes... SO GOOD! You have to get the cinnamon swirl pancakes when you go. Also I recommend the West Manchester Special. I really loved the hashbrowns & they had great rye bread! The atmosphere is very welcoming & the servers are great. It might look a little rough on the outside and inside, but the food is definitely worth going back for. read more

I stop here regularly now and my go to is the Steak (12oz sirloin) And Eggs best price in York. I was going to leave this review a couple of days ago. Then I seen so many post about the baked Oatmeal so I to try that twice just to make sure. It's awesome and a side of warm milk is a must. Service here is below any normal standard. Waitress spent more socializing then taking my order. Since I was sitting at the counter she did it right in front of me. So it took awhile before I got my menu. After I got my menu. And sat it down.she then was over talking at cash register. She past me at the counter at least 3 times after that. I liked to know what I did to make her mad at me. Maybe by the reviews poor customer service is a trend here. I finally had too leave after 20 mins .after I got my menu.I doubt if I will be back. Perfectly average. We were seated quickly and given drinks and menus quickly, though it did take the waitress a few minutes to get to us customer service-wise it was a normal pleasant experience. The food, a chicken sandwich and a Monte cristo were average. Not great, not terrible, average in every way. My better half was very excited by the prospect of tater tots as a side. Felt very rushed from the moment I walked in. I stopped in for lunch and they do have many lunch specials. I opted to start with the French onion soup. Then try the club sandwich. Unfortunately I was sat near the main entrance and it was freezing. I had to put my jacket back on as I waited for my order. My order all came out at the same time. The soup was like it was freshly heated in salamander oven or the microwave. VERY HOT. Unfortunately my fries were not. The roast beef used on the club was very tough. I asked for mayonnaise but could not taste it at all. Very dry. The prices are okay the food also just okay. I doubt I'll be back. read more

I have now been to the West Manchester Diner a few times for breakfast, and if you are looking for a classic roadside diner breakfast, this is the place. Clean, ample seating and a friendly staff. I enjoyed my rye toast quite a bit, and tried a PA breakfast side dish called scrapple that is weirdly delicious. The eggs were perfectly 'over-medium' and my hash browns were great; not greasy or burnt like I normally find in diners. The even share their Wi-Fi password with customers so I was able to get some work done over breakfast. I have seen a lot of businesses come and go over the last few years at this location, but i think the West Manchester Diner is here to stay. read more

Stopped by and sat at the bar on a Sunday morning for breakfast. I had driven past this place a number of times but it was my first time here. As with any place it's all about expectations. Have I been to better diners? Of course. But they kept my coffee cup full, even though they were busy. And the food they brought out was hot, something others can't seem to do. The prices seemed very reasonable for the area. Coffee was $1.25. Eggs, hash browns, and toast for around $3. You could certainly do worse for breakfast. read more

They made a liar out of me. Here it is 14 months later and they are still open. I ate breakfast here again recently because some friends wanted to meet here before an event. They must be surviving on the breakfast trade, because the food is actually not bad at breakfast time. The restrooms still smell like a bus station. This was my first time eating here. My husband and I arrived around 7:20 AM for breakfast and were seated promptly at a booth. Our booth and the one adjacent to us had no light bulb in the hanging fixture. When our server arrived, she was pleasant. Our bacon tasted spoiled. We had each taken one bite out of 2 different pieces and told the waitress. She asked if we wanted something else and I chose sausage. She didn't ask what my husband wanted. She came back to the table a minute later and said "he" wanted to see the bacon. (Odd?) So we placed our 6 strips on a plate. She brought out sausage links on a chipped plate. The links were greasy but I ate some because I didn't want to appear ungrateful. The fried potatoes were bland. The eggs and toast were good. There's a baseball sized hole in one of the windows amd the missing lights were off-putting. I really wanted to like this place as it's only 20 minutes from home, but I won't be going back. read more

The West Manchester Diner has WONDERFUL TASTY food. Finally a place where the food isn't bland. The owners are very friendly and courteous. Unlike other places where an owner or manager wouldn't even be in ear shot or around for that matter. If you haven't been to The West Manchester Diner yet, I highly recommend you take the trip. Every bite you will enjoy and will love the atmosphere. Me, personally, I will keep enjoying the food and wouldn't want anyone too miss out.
