I brought in my pro Denon D-4500 dual CD deck that I have used for years in my radio studio for repair and was immediately taken in by the vibe and atmosphere of this place - it is appropriately named. Now what you are here to read about: 1. Less than 24 hours later (don't hold them to that) my CD deck was 100% repaired, refurbished and like new. And, the price was beyond fair. 2. The rest of the team are amazing - they are all DJ's and know their stuff. I might even hire one of them freelance on a new project. 3. I left with a disco ball for my studio. They have an insane selection - and this one was affordable. 4. I learned the story of how the store started 50-years ago by owner Craig who has cool mementos of those years in his office. Great staff!!! They have DJ Studio rental. I needed to practice on a professorially set up DJ setup with CDJ 3000. They rent the setup in the store ( you don't take it home, all in store use) for $35 an hour and you can practice your skill. As CDJ's are a big investment, I get to practice for an hourly fee. I hosted my first ever mini musical festival and resource fair this past weekend and Astro AV was an incredible help with all things sound! I was able to talk to Saul and let him know what I needed; both him and Craig came back with other items that I hadn't even thought of but absolutely needed. The prices were reasonable. I've been hanging around this Dj shop since the early 90's. Words can not describe how much I like and appreciate the people who work there. Recently I needed some work done on my equipment. Jasmine and Cypher and Freddy Immediately Sprang into action..they went out of there way and beyond..They transferred software from different computers, to work with my hardware, To get my lighting system up-to-date And running properly, so I can give my customers the best DJ show possible. They have been able to get me equipment that I have requested when other stores wasn't able to get it..Example...Jasmine got me a "Control one" from Soundswitch when they were on back order And no one else had it. Also I was able to get a pair of "Reloop MK2 8000 turntables at Astros A rare find, When no one else had them. Many things wrong with astros, but the latest one is their price gauging due to the shortage of equipment, another dj friend paid nearly $4000 for another controller, in the past I rented equipment and got hit with a late fee after I had called and mention that the item will be back on Monday since they're closed on Sunday's so I didn't know how was I supposed to return equipment on Sunday if they're closed, besides that many other bad experiences and stories, like other people mention on theirs reviews we try to help the little shops around our community but they don't let us with their price gauging and late fees read more

I needed to repair one of my studio monitors (Adam A7x) as well as an LED light, I remembered this shop as a kid and realized they did repairs too. I was worried some shops would try to up charge since these speakers are very expensive but Robert (the man in charge of repairs) found the issue and had it fixed within the hour, he also fixed my LED light for just the cost of the speaker repair since it was a very easy soldering fix. Before going here, I was worried I'd have to spend another $800 for a speaker but it only cost me $45 all together. Robert is a very knowledgeable person! I also want to add, the store has an awesome room with lots of equipment to browse around in.
