This Craft ice cream place is great. The staff is always super friendly, and the quality of the ice cream is so great. I love the guava one when it's in rotation. Astro Craft Ice Cream has definitely stepped up their game here. They are now the only location in Tampa Bay which is across the street from the Tampa Premium Outlet Mall. The Armature Works location in Tampa is no longer open. They mentioned that the chef who does the desserts at Zukku San which is the sushi place in the next plaza over also creates the ice cream flavors now. That was not the case when they first opened. Therefore there are some Asian inspired ice cream flavors. I had to try this out. I do love ice cream flavors you can't find anywhere. I tried the Thai tea with almond cookies, ginger pear with lemongrass, & the Ube brownie. These were great fusion flavors that were pretty good and definitely represented their title well. I picked the Thai tea with almond cookies and this really made me happy. I've been wanting a waffle cone for sometime too. This visit definitely made up for it and I would definitely be back. My hubby had the strawberry shortcake and that also was pretty good. There are only two or three tables here. Their is sprinkle wall paper and decorative wall with Astro on it. There is also a couple tables outside Local ice cream now that I am happy to bring friends to try some unique flavors! read more

Both flavors are unique. Ube is seasonal not in their regular menu. Their menu include classic flavors and signature flavor. The rum coconut is tasty. Love it. After sampling couple of their craft Ice cream, we decided to get one scoop each of Ube and the coconut. I liked the whiskey cookie dough the best, but too bad this flavor was sold out. The purple Ube was the seasonal flavor. It mixed with Brownie Bite inside. It was unique and delicious. The coconut was also very good. I'm glad they opened this one across to the outlet Mall. No need to travel to Armature Work for the same good quality ice cream. The service was good. There are couple tables and chairs inside and outside.They gave big portion with a triangle waffle. The best local ice cream place around the Wesley Chapel area that I've found so far. I have been to both this location and the Armature one and they are both great. The selection of ice cream is fantastic- very unique flavors, nothing ordinary about them! They put a lot of thought and care into their ice cream. The tiramisu cheesecake tasted EXACTLY like you were eating tiramisu. The guava cream cheese is another personal favorite. Astro has a free tasting so I decided to try it out! They had some interesting favors such as guava and cheese. It was fresh and tasted quite nice, but I went with my staple of a type of coffee ice cream. The creme brulee latte was delicious! It tasted just like coffee ice cream. I don't know that I would get a signature selection again due to the size of it for one person being too big. The staff was very friendly and patient, allowing people to sample some of the flavors.
