The only professional my family and i witnessed about this business is that he has a van with "shiny" advertisements on it. My family and I recently reached out to Yared after hearing about him through a reference. Quite honestly, we were excited to be able to work with a small business owner and not have to reach out to big companies. Yared arrived to our residence and spent hours investigating the cause of the electrical issue we were having. Although we had some clue as to what the cause of the issue was, we did not want to step on his toes and wanted him to do his thing. When you hire a professional, you would expect they have not only the technical knowledge but also have good customer service. It is sad to say, we did not see any of that displayed with the service Yared provided. After spending hours trying to figure out what the issue was, we decided to step away to perhaps give Yared some space to troubleshoot on the issue. Shortly after stepping away, he called us and let us know what the issue was. I have to say that his explanation was awfully vague and he simply said "The issue is behind the wall". Keep in mind, our household is comprised of people who were well versed in a technical background so he did not have to do much in order for us to understand. For starters, he gave is an extremely high quote for the job on top of the travel fee he had imposed on us. As any customer, we were concerned with the quote he was giving us so of course we had to ask questions. If you look at the link below, you can see the average cost of an electrician in the DMV area is no where close what he quoted us. Mind you the source below is coming from a reputable electric company in our area: https://kolbelectric.com/blog/electrician-cost/ We were nearly being charged nearly twice the average cost according to the source above. To cut down costs is why we decided to reach out to a small business owner to do the job for us so we were not expecting such a high quote. I am no expert but i do not believe it cost $300+ to install an outlet. That is quite ludicrous. All things aside, we went ahead and agreed with his price knowing that it was still not fair but we decided to just go ahead any way. He went on to continue to work on the fix for the electrical issue we were having and as any home owner, we want to know what exactly is being done in our house for future references. Any question we asked, Yared was often hostile and offended saying "I don't have to explain this to you". We were not trying to step on his toes but simply were trying to understand exactly what he did to fix the issue. Again, he was reluctant to provide us with a good explanation and began getting irritated. I am a strong believer that If you are a professional in a certain field, you need to be able to explain your work thoroughly to customer so that you build trust and also build a reputable name for your self. If you simply do not have the patience to explain and answer questions, you are in the wrong line of work buddy! This is just my two cents! Quite honestly, i do not feel we received courteous service from Yared and i hope he will improve his customer service skills, temper, and also provide a fair quote to people.

However, the owner doesn't know how to communicate with customers with civility. He has premeditated characterization of nationalities of customers. He was livid when asked questions about the job - what he did? How he run the wires? etc He raises his voice and mistreat customers. He is very cunning and rude person. You have no right to limit customer's questions or questions type. Customers have full right to ask any question about the job. All I can say is that with this kind of temper, I don't think you can survive in this business. For now I give you 1 point. Improve man!!! Be polite and civil.
