Upon first phone call, we specifically told them we were in a hurry, but will pretty much pay whatever it was they asked. After weeks of no call backs, wrong estimates sent out, we had to ask ourselves: was it really this hard to have three phones connected? He told me right away that although they could work with me, it would be more expensive than what I could get from the two big guys, for basically the same service. No notice of this was given to us. I contacted Sterling Communications about it, and they said that the contract that they had with the provider of the filtering expired and that they are looking elsewhere for the service. So far, still no filtering. It has been months already. I'm paying a pretty high price for internet on a DSL line which is not very fast, and I'm paying the phone company for adding data to my landline service. The total bill is too high for a slow service without porn filtering. The only thing that's keeping me here, is that I don't want to change my email address and contact information so that people I've handed out my cards to, will not be able to reach me anymore. I'm very disappointed.
