The staff at this location is very good with assisting customers. I went into this location last week to pay a bill for my mother and the employee who helped me took me over to the bill payment kiosk and walked me through the steps on the machine so the bill could be paid. I had never used the machine before and needed help to see how it works. I have gone into this place for other reasons as well in the past and I am always greeted right away when I walk through the door and I always get whatever help is needed. The store is neatly organized and the staff seems very well trained. If you are ever looking for a new phone, are wanting to pay a bill or need help with any other issue then definitely give this place a try. read more

We decided to leave AT&T after 45 years, strictly over cost, and stopped in to pay off our phones. Justin and Adam were great. They did check to make sure we were really getting a better deal, without giving us a high-pressure sell. They did give us some things to think about, and although we stuck with our plan in the end, we really appreciated how well they treated us. Maybe we'll be back when the new 5G internet comes out. this is the first good at an AT&T store. Usually people that I've found working there. We weren't really invested in what they were doing or interested in really helping out. but I must say that store saved me from going across the aisle to Verizon. Both the manager and the other person Adam that was working there were attentive and nice. There were several people in front of me, but they took the time to talk to me and listen to what I needed, and then calmly mentioned that they would get to me in a minute as soon as they dealt with the people in front of me. They even helped me get the most for my trade-in to get the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Adam was really professional and great and explained everything to me in detail. Why not. I'll add to the list of bad reviews. While I was there 1/6/2022, I was trying to do some return of an item that I had bought from AT&T online. I was told that a manager would need to do an over-ride for me to get my money back. The issue? There was no manager on site. How do you run a store without a manager or an acting manager? I went back 1/8/2022 (Saturday) to try again. Once again, I was told there was no manager available but the manager should be in at noon. It's a Saturday. Probably one of the busier days in mall location. No manager? Really? Came back and noon and was told manager was not in yet. Was also told that they 'rarely' needed a manager. I decided to wait. Manager came in about 12:45pm. While I was waiting for the manager, I found out there was 2 other people that needed a manager around to "help". Yep, rare occasion alright. I get that there may be a shortage of people working due to covid, vacations, and whatever else but, any business, should have someone that can do the manager's work while out. A senior person? Stopped in this afternoon to return a phone that I unnecessarily purchased this morning. It was my 13 month old son's first time in a mall since the pandemic started, so I was more preoccupied with his well-being and comfort level than carrying my ID, and I realized it as soon as I walked in the store. Unfortunately, for my son, I only had the phone, original packaging, my receipt, my actual live phone with the same number, and the credit card that I used to purchase it with (which the return would be charged back to). Those were not sufficient enough. I was told by the employee who was comfortably seated, and has yet to earn a name tag, that I would have to come back with my ID. I asked him, "you are really going to make me jump through hoops with my child here?", and he responded "yes". So, I brought my toddler back outside, in the 100° heat, and retrieved my ID as instructed by loss prevention employee of never. Upon my return, the same employee was still sitting in his chair, but I refused his "assistance" and spoke with Kenny, who is a manager visiting from another AT&T store. Kenny did his best to diffuse the situation, as I was FUMING, literally, knowing that I was already having to pay a $55 restocking fee to return a phone that was still in the plastic, and that I was jumping through hoops on top of it. Kenny and the other manager Edwin performed the transaction in record time, and I was on my way. I've been with the company for over 25 years, since back when it was Cellular One, and its great to know that my loyalty is so well appreciated that they need to confirm that it's REALLY me, when I have their receipt, my phone, my credit card, and my BABY in my hands! read more

Sitting in the AT&T store again and I don't know why I came back. One associate is supposed to be helping us, another supposed to be helping another. Apparently the other one isn't well trained so the person supposed to be helping us is helping us and the other customer. The customer is trying to weigh his best options for plan and phone and one of the associates literally just told him he is trying to cheat the system. Place is a shitshow. You go in, the associates will ignore you. .. EVERY SINGLE TIME. When you start to lose it, they tell you they'll put you on a list. They will not tell the other associates they created a list so they'll just ignore you and wait on someone that came in after you. When you are literally ready to take hostages, someone may acknowledge your presence and tell you they'll be right with you. They won't. Whatever your issue, schedule a minimum of 90 minutes in this hell den. You may luck out and get someone who actually knows what they are doing after your wait but it's not likely. I switched over to ATT last month and was asked to give a review and I said I would once I got my 1st bill. I have found that switching to another carrier always has its issues with the 1st bill or at least I always did and the price was always more then what I was promised. Got my 1st bill and it was pretty close to what Kevin had quoted me, I am very impressed. I am a teacher and when he told me I would get 25 off my 5 lines I was skeptical, because other carriers made such promises but the bill was never correct. I am glad I switched and how easy Kevin made it for me. He explained my 1st bill accurately and their were no surprises! Had to switch SIM cards on my iphone because SIM card was starting to fail. I had an extra SIM card on me. Instead of using their systems to switch they had me use one of the iphones on display to call AT&T customer service and had them swap SIM. The only thing the sales person did for me was dial the number to customer service. Gee thanks. read more

If i could have given them 0 Stars I would have... The sales reps LIE to you to get you to buy items and add on's (like phone cases, screen protectors, and insurance) because they get paid for these extras. When i bought my 5S (the day it came out) I was told that "if anything happens to the phone and you have our 2 different insurances it would be covered and no deductible". This was after we talked about Apple care and me purchasing the phone on my AMEX card (which covers the phone 100% no questions asked). I opted for the insurance through them. I also purchased a glass screen protector for the phone. The sales rep said "yes i know its expensive ($35) but if ANYTHING happens to it come back and we will give you a new one at no charge that's why its expensive". 3-4 months back I went in to get my screen saver fixed because it was broken (physical damage) and they did it with no problem. As i talked to the rep then she informed me that the insurance has a $200 deductible. I was a little upset then because apple care was only $100 and the AMEX covered it with a $0 deductible. But it was to late for either of these and i had to live with it. I went in last week to get my glass replaces again and was told NO by a rep and manager confirmed it. After talking with the manager for a couple minutes his attitude changed and he became the rudest manager I have ever seen or dealt with. His ignorance for customer service is unbelievable. He told me "We cant fix yours because i has physical damage" " but we fix them here and there for people when we aren't supposed to" so i asked if he would do it for me since i was "here" and he said "NO". I asked why and he kept repeating that it had physical damage. I said but you just said you fix them "here and there" for people. He replied "yes" then i said why cant you fix mine and he came back with "it has physical damage' which he just said that they DO fix them "here and there". He also to me that his employees would NEVER tell a customer that there was no deductible and that they could fix physically damaged glass. I then said to him "so you are telling me I'm lying to you" he said "no i never said that" i then said "you are right but you are inferring it by saying that your girls would NEVER say that even though i just told you they did"........ so long story short is this manager SUX at his job and i feel bad for his employees if he treats his customers like trash. he then walked away during the conversation and threatened me with calling the "cops" if i didn't leave even though i wasn't done talking to him. He would make you feel miserable no matter what your issue is, like he is doing you a big favor by even talking to you. Two times I went to this store and both times I left extremely disappointed. Terrible experience at the store in Braintree! I went in to buy a new iphone 6. They did not have the color I wanted in stock and told me they'd order it and let me know when they received it. Never heard from them. I saw from the tracking number that the phone was sent to the wrong store, and then it went back to their warehouse in TX. They never offered to help. In fact, when I called they said I had to call customer service, cancel the order and start over. They said they could not do it for me even though they were the ones who ordered it. I guess it's company policy. The manager was quite indifferent to the inconvenience they caused. Very poor customer service. I went to the local store in Quincy and got a new phone there. I also bought a Fitbit ... the girl Jackie kept my debit card information , I found unauthorized charges to my account for direct tv , I never signed up for anything with them, I simply used my card to purchase a fit bit . She also provided inaccurate information on the switch promotion which ended up costing me 200$ out of pocket . Their employees should be reprimanded for misleading people as well as stealing money from my bank account for unauthorized charges ! read more

I'm a new AT&T customer as of last week. I moved homes and my former carrier would not work in my new place. I'm the first to admit I'm not the easiest guy to please. I do tons of research before I make purchases, and I was shopping all the big service providers. Well I actually only made it to two carriers because my experience at AT&T in the Braintree mall was superb so I ended my search there. The dude that greeted me did so with a big smile and spent tons of time with me. They have like 50 phones on display and I had quite a few questions. The manager also came over and introduced himself and checked in a couple of times. He and I ended up having a pretty good conversation about fishing and tattoos while the salesman was setting up my phone. I doubt I would be in as good a mood as these cats if I worked in a mall, I don't know how they do it. The place was clean & comfortable, they have tables to sit at. Everyone was cool, I could tell the people that work there get along well. I'll be back in a couple of months when my wife's contract is up for another phone. Ohhh and at the table next to us there were 3 women sitting there talking to another female salesperson. was referred to switch to at&t after 15yers with verizon. they had promotion trade in i phone 8 or newer, & get $700 credit, & for two lines, my payment would be $171. i was greeted at the door by the store manager HASAN.at the door i asked him if i were to trade, would i get the same service that i get with verizon? he responded by saying " NO.... BETTER! ok.....lets do this. after setting up the phone , i was back the same day with concerns that my phones not working. they resolved that issue, then went to my home where nothing worked.... NO PHONE, NO MESSAGE, NO INTERNET.....NOTHING WORKED. i went back again. i told them that i have severe allergies, carry an epidemic pen, & needvto be abled to call for help. bottom line they told e that i could cancel, they would give me trade in value of $95x 2 for my trades, & they would give me trade in value for my new phone. best case scenario , it would cost me a minimum of $1400 to switch back to verizon, because they have the same offer, & i now have no trades.in 12days i have been back to that location 4 times since, their plymouth ma location once, & between texting, & phone conversations with them i have logged over 40 hours between wednesday, & thursday alone i spent over 9 hours on the phone. was told that i would receive manager call backs 3 times, & never received one.every person that i spoke with said that it was no right, but there was nothing that they could do. read more

First and last time going to this store. Upgraded phone and was told there was a promotion for a free set of BEATS headphones. Said I didn't want them if they were not actually free. Was told not to worry. Month later my bill shows a $220 charge for them. Called and it was removed. Next month it showed up as an installment charge of $18.67. Called and it was removed. This month, same charge. Called and was told nothing could be done. That I needed to confront the store manager and deal with it there. I'm over 60 and really don't feel comfortable confronting a store manager who scammed me in the first place. Will never go to this store again. And after being an AT&T customer for 20 years, am thinking of switching carriers. read more

Oh boy. I'm going to leave a lot of details out because I do not want to spend another minute wasting my time on this place so I'll get to the meat of it. After consideration and speaking with staff, I decided to switch to the Unlimited Choice plan ($65/mo). I reiterated I didn't need much and wanted to pay as little as possible. I made it abundantly clear that I wanted the cheaper plan. (Also, apparently now when you switch your plan you are automatically charged $17.50 for DirectTV Now which I was told I could try out for a month then cancel if I decided it wasn't for me - take note.) After I left the store, I checked my online account and saw this dude had signed me up for the Unlimited Plus plan which is $95/mo. These guys get commission, right? Holy hell! I also saw that I was charged $35 for the DirectTV Now and spent over an hour and a half on the phone with a rep from DirectTV Now trying to sort out that mess. When I called AT&T, I was thankfully able to switch my plan back to what I wanted but was informed that you only get a 7 day free trial of Direct TV Now; not a month! If I hadn't double checked my account and called AT&T, I would have paid a lot more for a plan that I specifically said I did not want and paid for a service I was not interested in and had full intentions of cancelling within the first month (which would have been too late). This took a good 5 hours out of my day. What a waste. I spent my Saturday night undoing all the things he screwed up for me. I am unimpressed and not pleased. Shameful!
