Everything about this company is bad. Product bad, service bad, customer relations bad. Do yourself a favor and sign on with any other wireless cellular company, but stay away from AT&T. I keep getting billed even though my account was zeroed out almost 4 months ago. I've been into their store twice to rectify this issue, I have made countless call most of the time I talk to no one. They gave me two numbers to call for billing, one was 611, when the phone answered, it was T-Mobile! When I asked, " when did you merge with AT&T?", they said that they had no idea that they did. And promptly told me they can only speak to T-Mobile products and T-Mobile billing. So I tried the next number. 1-800-301-0050 which was supposedly the direct line to AT&T billing department, when the phone was answered this time it was "Liberty Wireless", they had no explanation why AT&T would give me a number that was to a different wireless company and they didn't have any AT&T phone numbers that would get me in touch with AT&T. I have not been signed up with AT&T for almost 4 months and that is how long I've been dealing with them erroneously sending bills to me, which at this point equates to harassment. read more

This sounds like the exact same problem as the AT&T store in Oak Harbor. I was/am going to come here instead of Oak Harbor because the manager there is a complete jerk, maybe they are related. I guess I am going to have to find someway to complain to "corporate", but not confident it will do any good. read more

Several times I have had the misfortune of dealing with Kianna at the Burlington AT&T store and each time I've said I'll never step foot in this store again because of her. Well today was the absolute last straw. She talks down to people like they are idiots. She is incredibly condescending, rude and highly offensive. How she can work in a customer facing position is beyond me. I don't need a 20 something year old retail clerk talking to me like I am a complete idiot. She needs to get over herself and AT&T really needs to train their employees on how to NOT treat their customers. Terrible store manager!!! AT&T lost our wireless business after 10 years because this store and the manager are so horrible! Crystal McClure is the store manager. Would rate them with zero stars if I could. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE!!! My husband upgraded his phone and was upsold to a newer more expensive one plus a new tablet. He bought some accessories and was charged for them as well as a small charge for the tablet. The phone was heavily discounted (50% off) and was to be billed monthly on AT&T Next. The person who helped him, Kianna, was super friendly and helpful. The next day Kianna left him a voicemail saying she had a question. He only had the store number and called several times but no one live would ever pick up. Two days later someone else from the store left him a voicemail saying he owed taxes on the new phone that Kianna had forgotten to charge him. He called him back and found out the amount - $60 seemed like a lot. At 50% off the phone was only about $350. Rather than paying over the phone he wanted to go in to see in writing exactly what they were charging him for. We went in the next day and found out they were charging sales tax on the full cost of the phone even though he was only paying 50% of the cost. He told them he didn't think he should pay tax on money he wasn't spending. He was told he would have to speak to the manager who wasn't there at the time. He was given her card so he could call her. Crystal McClure is her name. There was no direct or mobile # only the store number. I researched online and found info from the Dept of Revenue (DOR) stating that it is AT&T's choice to charge tax on full retail price even if the phone is discounted. The DOR considers the amount being discounted is actually the retailer's burden and the store should really pay the remaining sales tax. We figured we had a shot at getting them to charge us the tax on just the amount he was going to pay for the phone. My husband tried to reach the store to talk to Crystal for two days. Then I tried to contact her. Calling the store number takes you into a phone tree nightmare. I sat on the phone for 30 minutes trying to get through. The store line would ring, no one would pick up and then it would take me back into the menu...never reached a live person EVEN THOUGH I WAS CALLING AN ACTUAL STORE WITH ACTUAL LIVE PEOPLE WORKING THERE!!! The next day my husband got a VM msg saying that if he didn't pay the taxes in the store they were going to add it to our bill. After working a 12 hour shift he came home and we went immediately to the store. Normally the store is open till 9pm. This night they closed at 7pm for inventory...we got there at 3 minutes after 7. He knocked on the door and told them he needed to speak to the mgr about the tax. They all seemed to know about the situation...weird. They let us in and someone went to get the mgr. We thought we would be talking to Crystal but a Justin came out from the back. My husband was pretty upset at this point and said if they weren't going to help him he was going to return all the stuff he had just bought and go to another carrier. The lo and behold a woman comes out from the back, doesn't even look our way and starts to do something. I ask her 'are you the mgr?'. She says 'yes one of them'. And she points to Justin who came out to help us and says he's a mgr too. My husband looks at her and says 'but you're THE mgr right?' Yes she said. He replied 'you're losing our business over $30 you realize that'. She said 'we tried to call you several times about this'. I said 'I spent 30 minutes on hold yesterday trying to get through to talk to you and couldn't get to anyone. And he tried 2 or 3 times to call with no success. We've tried to call YOU about this.' She just continued with what she was doing, not even looking at us. My husband said we're returning the phone, tablet and the accessories NOW. Justin did the return and we left. We immediately went to the nearest Verizon store and signed up with them. read more

I go thru at&t and DirecTV for my cable and what they are doing is complete bullshit we have sat on hold for 3 hours now and we paid our bill and they are saying we haven't paid they are refusing to refund us our money back then because they said we cancelled which we didn't they have to check our credit again and we have to go thru the application process again and are making us send the equipment back that we were using so they can put new stuff in when the stuff we had is perfectly fine they are not listening to what we are saying at all I'm am completely pissed off and upset with this company I would not refer any of my friends to tem it's nothing but problems read more

This is the place to go if you want to see a bill that bears no relation to what you were told. After signing up, I am now trying really hard to get un-signed up. The monthly bill is actually 2x what this place told me the bill would be So, I've now spent an hour trying to get out. Believe the 1 star reviews. When I entered they were friendly, when I began speaking with the sales person, it all went downhill. He was condescending, and when I said I wanted to purchase 2 Samsung j3 phones outright, the guy told me I had to do the installment. So I left, but on my way out the door, I heard the guy making some degrading comments about me. Do not go into this store, they are disrespectful and don't deserve any business. read more

My wife and I switched from Sprint/T-Mobile. We were tired of our current provider which we had been with for eight years. The fellow made ours a decent transition,... took a little advantage of our situation,..yet,.. that is more on me than them. However, I had made a very specific point to ask about where we go to get a screen saver replaced when the time comes. He said to just simply drop by and it would be taken care of. We paid for an extra screen a piece, I believe. I asked that question twice. Fast forward to the now,... I made a special trip 15 miles from my home to get my cracked screen replaced,... "Sorry sir,.. you need to go online and get that replaced." Same fellow. I stated that was not what he had said previously,.., he responded by saying that is what we bought, end of story. AT&T's coverage where we live is not as good as T-Mobil in our neighborhood, that's ok,... but getting lied to is maddening!!!! read more

Terrible customer service. Very rude employees. Store manager, Jeremy, never returns calls.

2nd time there. No one on the floor was experienced. The manager wasn't even there. They had to call him at home. I found this very unprofessional and I did not get my issue taken care of. Reminds me of another company I changed from. Now they are just like them. As soon as I can change i am soooo gone!!!! When you have to drive 30 miles to get to the store that is one inconvenient to get to, then the suck service. Well you got my rating as a 1. Upgraded my iPhone5 to 7plus, assisted by Kianna. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and efficient. Had me in my new phone, case, screen protector, and bonus charging cable in minimum time, and even pointed out to me that I had an outdated plan. After I changed plans, I had more service at a sizable monthly savings. Very satisfied, and will gladly return when I need something more. read more

I purchased a galaxy s6 active in sept from them ,from the first day I got the phone it did not work properly you could not install Facebook on it .After 5 trips at an hour or more in the store with three or 4 employees working on the phone and 2 hrs on the phone to customer service. I was told by the store it was a defective phone ,told by customer service that it was a software problem ,I was told by the store to tell them I wanted a new phone they said well send you a refurbished phone ,I paid $700.00 for a new phone not a refurbished phone .I had a friend stop by my shop told him about the problem ,he said let me look at it in 3 minutes he fixed it ,(you need to turn off the parental controls to add Facebook) so after 7 hrs dealing with this an amateur fixed the phone where there trained employees (monkeys) could not .I will not go into there store again and when my contract is up I will shop elsewhere read more

I didn't expect much from reading the past reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. I walked in with a phone issue, and left with a new phone, tablet and directv service that gave me a lot more than I had with Comcast for a little savings per month as well. I'm not a fan of att but my experience at this store definitely redeemed them. I stopped by to see if they could troubleshoot a problem was having on my S4. Hugo was incredibly helpful. With just a brief conversation I left with a new phone suited to my lifestyle -S6 active and a tablet. He went out of his way to find a free tablet for me for a promotion they were running. The regional manager offered to bring it by the store for me to pickup. The only negative was waiting an hour at the store for it to show up. But the regional manager went above and beyond by offering to drop it off at my house. I was annoyed at the time but appreciate their efforts. Great job, thank you! read more

I went to At & t and was very dissatisfied with the service I received at this location the girl who helped me was not knowledgeable about anything and she told me she used Teen mobile at an At &t store, I went to At&t because I went through Direct T.V and wanted to get a new service provider and they had a promotion going on where i could get a new TV if i switched services. She had no idea what i was talking about. So i got the phone anyway but she could not transfer my numbers are pictures. So i got home and tried to do it myself but failed. So i just took the phone back i may even cancel my TV account because of this , also I was charged 35.00 for a restocking fee and the Amount I was told from Direct Tv ended up being alot more in your store the girl also said it would be 60.00 and by the time it was all said and done my bill was 284.90 and my credit was ran again. read more
