If you are looking for bad customer service, this store is ABSOLUTELY the place to go. The information I received over the phone from one staff member was completely different from what I was told in-store. At the store, I was given strange and unchecked information -- for example, I was told to wait three weeks for MAYBE a lower price. Even worse, the items that were said to be available over the phone were actually taken to an "event" and were not in stock. This is unacceptable, especially from such a large store. The core problem is that the information given over the phone does not match the reality in-store. Customer service is unreliable, inconsistent, and in my experience, a complete zero. Instead of this store, please go to AT&T at Chastain. The customer service there is like night and day compared to Carterville. At the Carterville AT&T, they can't do basic things -- for example: Transfer data from an old phone to a new one ("Oh no, we can't," a young lady told me). I honestly wondered why the store is even open if they can't help customers. But at AT&T in Chastain store? Completely a different story. They handled everything we needed. We left with three new phones, and our business was taken care of in a professional manner. Kudos to Andrew, the manager at AT&T Chastain. If you need AT&T service, go to this location! read more

The store members are ok, but the new lady kept trying to get me to purchase another phone. Never once in the store did they look and see that I'm still under a year warranty and the phone I have has not worked since I purchased it in February. The phone have been replaced twice and troubleshooting so many times and it still don't work. I have 5g and all bars but no internet service without WIFI. I have paid my bill every month with a offline that don't work. One member that when we went in one of the workers just sat down and didn't ask us for help. Someone had to have her help us. She told us that they would upgrade the phone but didn't put notes to let the next one know. I'm under WARRANTY AND WANT MY PHONE REPLACED FOR THE 3RD TIME. CUSTOMER SERVICE SAYS GO IN AND GOING IN DAYS THEY CAN'T HELP. UGHHHHH, I'M HATING ATT RN, I MAY NEED TO GO TO TMOBILE OR SOMEONE ELSE. read more

I was returning a defective device within the 14 day return period. To be specific, I had the device for 5 days. It dropped and kept restarting, and I tried to get customer service first before returning the device. After waiting on hold for over an hour, I gave up and brought the defective item to return. They lied to me saying there was a restocking fee (this is bogus, check att.com). I refused to pay any fees and walked out of the store, when the manager LITERALLY CHARGED AFTER ME out of the store and tried to give me the device back. My dash cam caught that and I called the police to ensure they had a report about his behavior. The store representative told me the Manage's name was Taylor but who knows what's true with these folks. The mananger that chased me out of the store was black, heavy/medium build and about 5'8-5'10. I truly hope they fire this person I was scared I was about to get assaulted! read more

I purchased an Apple Watch from Maleek on 9/30. The whole time I stated it was a gift for my son and I wasn't 100 percent sure it was the one he wanted. He said I had 14 days to return it if it's not the one he wants. Absolutely nothing about a restocking fee. I went I'm to return it on 10/2 and the manager Alicia informed me of a $55 restocking fee for Apple. I said I was not told anything about this when I purchased the watch or I would not have bought it. She said there was nothing she could do about the fee - it was something Apple imposes. I told her that the restocking fee should have been disclosed to me when I purchased the watch especially since the sales person knew it was a gift and that I was not sure. CONSUMERS BEWARE! Bait and switch tactics used at the Cartersville GA store! Upgraded one of our phones, was told rebate on old qualified phone would be $700. When we turned it in, after moving all data over to the new phone, their story changed. Was only willing to offer half, because they said the phone had a small crack in the case back. They originally examined phone and said it was eligible for the full rebate. Phone was in exact same condition the entire time. Manager and two sales people did nothing to resolve the issue. 6+ hours on the phone with 7 AT&T people later, we had no other choice but to file an FCC complaint. 3+yrs as AT&T customer with 5 Lines, no worries though,, Verizon will be more than happy to take our $400/month. If you enjoy dishonest underhanded business, this is your place, for all others... go elsewhere, You'll be glad you did. read more

Buyer Beware!!!! Bait and switch taking place at this location. I purchased two Series 7 watches (41 and 45mm) and was told would get 2nd watch for $330. Should have been just under $800 total for both watches. I tried to pay cash but was told I couldn't and also had to have $10 monthly cellular on each. Left without signed contract or watches as they were to be delivered and setup with ENJOY expert service at our residence--- which was a JOKE. The ENJOY rep left the watches at the front door-not even charged for use and we had no idea we needed an adapter as the charging cord has changed. I was charge $1028 for both watches and still don't even have cellular service on either watch. NEVER AGAIN! Could have got both watches at BEST BUY for $828. Don't waste your time here. read more

Efrain is a great guy who really can get stuff done right. We added a new phone, got a SIM card, transported a Verizon phone number, and he closed out the Verizon account for us. To do similar, you need pin and account #'s for both the old carrier and the AT&T account. read more

Terrible customer service!!!!!!! We called the store at 5:30 and told Erik we would be there right before 6:00pm and asked if they would still help us get a new phone. We got there at 5:59pm and they would not help us after we drove out of our way to get there. We talked to Matt, the manager, and could not believe that he would not help us. Poor customer service. I have been an AT&T customer since 1997. I am now a Verizon customer. The only reason I left a 1 star review is because there isn't an option to leave less. Condescending sales rep blatantly insulted my intelligence. I am a tech savvy person and was out of options so I brought in my phone. I own a business here is Cartersville. If I ever caught my employees talking to a customer in the manner I was talked to, it would be their last minute as my employee. read more

I know they are here to help people with their phones, but some people use it as a free education on how to work a iPhone, think they should charge for it to keep the associates selling phones so people who are in there to actually spend money can. read more

The three stars are for the reliable products and services. I have no complaints about the service or the products. They all work well. However, I could not give this business five stars because every time my significant other and I walk in there, we feel like we are being descended upon by sales sharks. One time, an associate did not give us full disclosure about a promotion they were having. That was very disappointing. Our consistent experience with this particular store is that the associates have a tendency to not provide full disclosure about services and service contracts. That is a great disappointment. My suspicion is that AT&T corporate and management might encourage associates to perhaps make statements that might be misleading to some customers. I hope AT&T is not intentionally trying to mislead any customers. I hope that my experience at this store changes for the better in the future. I would like to reiterate that the consistency of good service from the products and reliability of the products we have purchased from this AT&T store have been consistently positive. read more

My husband and I recently visited this store in hopes of switching phone service. Upon arrival, we just stood there for a solid minute before even being approached. When someone finally came came up to us, we were not even greeted. Instead I was asked , what's your name, and what's your number". After giving my information, all I got was, "someone will help you soon so you can just look around". That's it! We decided to stay and give it a chance hoping that someone what approach us, apologize for the delay, and actually assist us. We'll after 10 minutes of "looking around". We had still not been greeted by a single person. Finally we had had enough and decided to walk out and take our business elsewhere. We understand that when there are multiple customers all in need of assistance that it may take a little bit of time, but to not even be acknowledged is just down right bad customer service.
